I am a frequent customer at this establishment, often stopping by to purchase a sandwich. However, I have noticed a recurring issue when interacting with the female employees at the cash register near the lottery tickets. Despite arriving before the 5 PM cutoff time, I am consistently met with disapproving looks and informed that sandwiches are no longer available. This has happened on multiple occasions, leaving me feeling discriminated against.Even when I arrive at 3 PM, I am sometimes told to return later due to shift changes. This pattern of being turned away has become frustrating and disheartening. Additionally, I have noticed a language barrier as the employees continue to speak Spanish to me, despite my attempts to communicate in English.While I am hesitant to pursue legal action, I feel compelled to address this ongoing issue. Today, I experienced the same situation once again. I hope that we can find a resolution to ensure a more positive and inclusive experience for all customers. I would like to be contacted as soon as possible as I am disappointed.

Considering it's a Hispanic market, it's a little pricey, some staple Latino food items should be cheaper than at Publix, most times Publix is more affordable. I've had bad experiences at this market's deli and meat department, as far as quality goes. I think they would benefit from serving hot prepared foods, that way they would up items that don't sell well instead of just tossing it away. Maybe?? Just a thought.

Second time there 1st went smooth. Went back with my wife & the register lady was treating us nice I was like oh wow cuz u don't get that now ahdays. Anyhow we bought roughly $90 buck. The register lady a fat one the works in the last register is a thief she shorten our change $15 dollars. My wife rightway noticed and told her. The people behind us probably got on point. So if u go there or anywhere...check ur change before walking away. Those wolf are dressed as sheep's. UI won't see it comin

Prices are fairly decent compared to other supermarkets. However, cashiers need to be more friendly and professional. Apparently they're bringing their cultural vocal folklore while on duty to a completely different workplace environment than their country of origin.

Nice store and nice service. Ok selection. But they have a parking lot next to it which is free which is great for the beach. Much easier and more affordable than Publix for sure!!

It's ok but a very dated look, and the cashier's are mostly standing around on their phones and moving slowly.the elderly patrons can be a bit rude and aggressive. The food quality is mostly of short shelve life products that cater to a more Latin/caribe community.

Beware of this store, prices on shelves don't match at the check out point, very often I have encountered this problem and today even worse, shopping for tomatoes so I picked the cheapest one for $1,12 a pound said the price tag but when to pay it rang at $1.79 a pound when I tried to rectify it with the the guy in front of the store he went to look but after few minutes he came back saying that it was $1.79 a pound, not doubt he put this later price because I saw the price of $1.12 otherwise I would have not picked it.

My girlfriend and I visited this food market place on 04/172018 and we found nice products, good prices, and when we request help from staff personnel they treated us with excellent costumer service including the manager a blondy woman encharged that day. There is free parking and advantage for access disability people. Place to by food recommended !!!!!

The management of this store is awful. They discriminate against LGBT ,specifically a Trans person this time. Your nastiness will be the demise of your business. Prepare for the rainbow folks to make your world hell!! May SATAN bless you and your family.. Because God surely doesn't like ugly!

I've been sitting here on the phone waiting to speak to a manager for the last ten minutes. I had a problem with my debit card when making a purchase at the Art Deco Market On Normandy and went next door to my bank and discovered there had been fraudulent activity on my card. I then called the store to tell them to put my groceries away as i would not be able to purchase them. Nice, right? They hung up on me. And now they have placed me on eternal hold. I guess I need to go down there. More later.

We were visiting town very briefly and needed few stuff for the couple days we were there. This was nearby and it had all the stuff we needed. Not everybody spoke English but everybody was very friendly and nice. Overall good experience.

Absolutely loved this TROPICAL. What incredible place to buy vegetables, fruits,meat and various offers at very low prices. The staff is friendly. IT'S A PLEASURE FOR ME TO VISIT THIS MARKET.

I like the store, but the service is really bad. Actually, if you are Hispanic probably not. But, if you are not from Spanish speaking areas, you'll have to deal with a lot of eye rolling, not hearing Hello, Bye, Thank you, with getting you receipt by yourself... One word - discrimination.

Convenient, very reasonable weekly promotion prices on many items... Especially deli meats, cheeses, herbs and veggies. Inexpensive breakfast and lunch selection with seating area in store.

Stopped for coffee and to buy some stuff.........no coffee at 2 pm........4 register open but 3 employees.....balancing the coffee area register....WOW...... The owner should know about this......would fire them!!!!!

The place looks unkept most of the time and on 8/1/17, a transgender person was shopping there and they prohibited them from making any purchases and they gave them no explanation why. Miami Beach has a zero tolerance policy for LGBT discrimination and this store did that exactly. Go find another place to buy your fruit and meat.

I like shopping here because they have incredibly low sale prices. I have paid as little as 98 cents a pound for boneless chicken breasts! Friendly staff.
