This is one of my favorite places to eat when we vacation in Mexico Beach Florida. It makes me smile just thinking about how wonderful the service, food, drinks, atmosphere & if you are lucky even live music all just across the street from the beautiful white sugar sand beach. The menu has something for everyone’s tastes & the portions are plentiful. I definitely recommend starting out with their homemade fried pickle chips that comes with their homemade ranch, get extra ranch, it’s that good. The menu has plenty of options for the seafood lovers but also has plenty for those who prefer something else. If you like sweet potatoes then you are going to want to try their homemade sweet potato fries perfectly seasoned with the most tasty brown sugar coating, sublime, I wish I had some right now. The staff is always smiling & not once does your glass sit empty. Rebuilding after the hurricane in 2018 seemed daunting but the owners are really amazing people who want to maintain the integrity of this small beach town so they rebuilt in the same location & serve the locals & tourists year around with their tasty food. If you ever find yourself there, don’t miss the beautiful mural on the side of the building for a great photo op. Don’t forget to grab a piece of their fabulous key lime pie, trust me even though you will probably be to full to eat it right then you will definitely enjoy it later. Can’t wait for our next trip to our favorite vacation spot to stop in and enjoy a beautiful lunch or dinner with the gang at Mango Marley’s. I included photos of an updated menu, the other ones I’ve saw online have the wrong prices, enjoy your meal & make great memories at the beach without the tourist traps, this place is a one of a kind, definitely no chain restaurant here!

I’ve gotten this place about 6 or so times now. It’s a hit or miss but overall it’s not too bad. We’ve gone and had to wait really long for service & ok food. We’ve also gone and gotten great service and good food. So it’s a toss up. I would give 3 stars because the mixed drinks are consistently pretty weak and that there isn’t much quality control over portion sizes it seems…but since it is local I like to give the benefit of the doubt

We r visiting from Georgia, and this was our first visit here. Was a Wed night and they had a guy playing live music. Great voice and music (country)! 🎶 Shannon, our server, was super nice, and the food was delicious. Had Mushroom & Swiss burger. The 38 blonde beer (or something like that) was really good. Server let me try a taste before ordering. Loved that. Would go again and recommend.

Stopped on the way home from our vacation down the coast when we saw lots of local business people there. Excellent fish, nice and hot, well-seasoned beans and rice, generous portions . . . and the host brought our meals right out to our car as a nice gesture. I look forward to going there again!Vegetarian options: Plantains; Beans; Rice; Sweet Potato Fries; Cole Slaw

Well, just had the best experience and food in Mexico Beach after a week long trip of trying all the “others “ between there and Port St. Joe. Wish we had’ve went there the first day and stuck with them every day. The bartender (Zach) was by far the most attentive, friendly and informative out of everyone we experienced during our trip, And we actually had good service just about everywhere we went. He made the best drinks on the beach and the food was excellent!!! Don’t sleep on this little gem!! We will make this our #1 from now on.

A visit Mexico Beach lot. There are only two places in town that you can eat indoors. Mango Marley's is one of them. Atmosphere is great, food is good. Service could be better. There are a few waitresses that seem stuck up. And act like I really don't want to be there. But if you get a good one. It makes the whole experience amazing. I highly recommend it.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was delicious! Our server, however, left a lot to be desired. He was very quiet and very timid and came back only once to ask us about our drinks when my husband's glass was completely empty & we were ready to leave & even then, he did not remember what drinks we had. Even the waitress waiting on other people didn't seem very cordial. The food was great, so we will go back hoping for better service. This time, we left half the tip we normally would.

So good! We had fish tacos with fries, fish Travis with red beans and rice, and the the Big Kahuna Burger. Word of advice if you get the fish tacos, order a side of rice to soak up all the yummy goodness that drips out of them! The horseradish aioli is great on anything! The restaurant is very clean and the staff were constantly wiping down high traffic services. Wait staff were very attentive and we never lacked on drink refills. The sweet tea is true southern sweet tea. Clean restrooms as well.

We decided to try Mango Marley's after a long day at the beach. We were disappointed to find that none of the kids meals included fries as a side. They come with a small bag of plain Lay's chips. We asked about subbing fries for the chips, but we were told they cannot do that. You can, however, purchase a side of fries at regular menu price. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. While the flavors were good, I was disappointed in the meat to bread ratio. It came on an incredibly thick bun, but the chicken patty was very thin and a little dry. My husband had a burger and said it was good. The kids had a grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Overall, we say it's a solid 3 stars.

I sure wish that there was a , no , star option 😕 . Because I would definitely have used it for this review.Went there for lunch with my some military advisors .that were In country. evaluating our military .Our group of 7 . Ordered pretty much the same thing as the table that was sitting behind us. ( they were also military. But American military) our order was placed at approximately 11:40. The others at 11: 50.Their order was served at approximately 12:10... ours 12:20. My only option was to ask for to~go boxes as some of us had appointments to keep. I felt so disrespected that I didn't want to leave a tip. But I didn't have time to wait for my change. So I hope you enjoyed the $ 1 tip. Mexico Beach deserves better. And I hope they get it sooner rather than later. In the meantime. The piggly wiggly sells lunch meat and bread.

Wish we could have tried the food. We came in after the lunch rush hoping to get some food… as soon as we walked in, we were directed to stand and wait for a table in a half full restaurant. After about 15 minutes of not being acknowledged and no table, and having someone with a disability in our party with a walker, we left. Yelp reviews are right - service leaves something to be desired. A whole lot of staring at patrons by the staff but not a lot of actually helping the patrons…

Just save your money and do not go!!! Go to Port St. Joe, great food, great shopping, and best of all, they very much appreciate your patronage!!Owner:Our waiter acted like we were bothering him - I asked about your beer selections as I couldn’t see from where I was sitting - I was told to go look.My husband ordered cheese balls and they arrived at our table in one big greasy clump - he couldn’t even eat them. I ordered shrimp and it was rubbery with no flavor - definitely not fresh!!My husband accidentally spilled his drink and we received no help to wipe it up.It just was not what we were expecting 😞

I'm so glad this place has reopened. My wife and I absolutely love coming here. The last paragraph of this review is from our first time in Mexico Beach. Sadly the laundromat is no longer there thanks to Michael.I have fallen in love with their tsunami sauce. Wow! It's hot. But I'm addicted to heat.I usually have the five alarm burger. This round I had a Philly cheese steak and the florribean fowl the next day.The staff is amazing and great to talk to. Stop by here. You won't be disappointedWe love this place. The wings are top notch, the plantains are top notch and the other food is absolutely delicious. We stop at the bar while our clothes are at the laundromat (two doors down).

service needs improvement management was very disappointing. I’ve seen several negative reviews and it seems management needs to make adjustments a place that’s been open for 3 or more years should have most these issues resolved 15min to order drinks another 30min to get them then an hour and a half and 3 trips from staff asking how we like it cooked or sauce choices should not be acceptable.Highlights was the food was good and the live music.

Mango Marley's: A Flavorful Oasis in Mexico BeachThis cozy restaurant has left the best impressions!Imagine walking down the streets of Mexico Beach, and suddenly, you stumble upon Mango Marley's. Trust us, you can't miss it! This spot is located within walking distance from almost anywhere! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with nothing but good vibes. The positive energy is contagious -- it's no wonder Mango Marley's has earned its great reputation.Zac (the GM) and the crew showed us nothing less than genuine passion for hospitality (what we needed .... for a true getaway!)What truly sets Mango Marley's apart is the lively atmosphere. Loved the band that was playing during our stay. Truly gifted band!Definitely a go-to place for Mexico Beach!

I was in the area for training and decided on this place.I ordered the shrimp po boy with tater tots. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but I will say It was pretty darn good. The shrimp was crunchy, the sauce was tasty and the bun was perfect. The food came out in a decent amount of time too. Also the bartender was always on top of filling drinks and asking if anything was needed. If I ever come back to this area I will sure make the stop here again!

For starters, I am never the type of person to leave a negative review. I fully believe in solving any potential issues while you are there, and find some common ground to rectify any mistakes or problems. Now with that being said, I am leaving one star review due to the fact that our server was, for 90% of the meal, absent. In his defense, they did have a good chunk of to-go orders, but the audacity to ask me if I wanted a refill when my drink was empty was unnecessary. To continue, we waited 45 minutes. I don't mind waiting, because I realize that good food takes time, however I received an overcooked fish and bland rice and beans that was 30 dollars. My boyfriend got a cold cut sandwhich, that was triple stacked with food, for 15 dollars while I got a 6 inch fish filet which is completely unacceptable. I would have said something, but again, our server was absent and no where to be found. I took the loss, but I will not be returning.

Updated as of 3.29.2023Mango Marleys has successfully made it to a 1star establishment for us! Never will return.Went with group of 6 for lunch. Got seated right away. 2 waitresses came by to say they'd be back to take drink order. 15 min pass and our drink order along with food order was taken. Ordered appetizer along with entrees.Drinks took forever to get. Food arrived after 1 hr and 18 minutes. You guessed it, food was cold. Appetizer was never brought out, side salads never brought out. One kids meal still not brought out. When kids Hamburger meal came, burger too red on inside to eat as kid freaked out seeing red. Fried plantains were burnt and cold. Shrimp way over cooked to the point you can't even chew it, like rubber.Horrible place, tourist trap for sure! They count on the one and done customers for sure. Because no one would be a regular at this establishment with the food they serve. And yes, this was all brought up and all the Mgr could say was sorry.***********Original review*********We live here, support all restaurants year round. My last review of Mango Marley's was a 5 star. Today however I am giving it 2 stars. For 24.99 for the fish and shrimp dinner, I could have cooked better looking food myself at home. According to our waitress who talked to the chef, the fish fell apart taking it out of fryer to plate. Instead of frying another piece and making it right, he pieced together whatever he could Salvage and sent it out. Our waitress offered to fry another piece for me which we declined. This should have been done to begin with. Not have a 24.99 meal brought out like this in hopes that the customer will accept it. The wings my husband ordered were delivered to another table. Sat down in front of customer as the waitress continued to give other dishes out to other table. Another waitress came over and took the wings away from that customer and returned them to window where food is ready to be picked up. Our waitress goes and picked up those wings and proceeded to bring to our table. I'm sorry but with covid going on, once you serve a dish it needs to stay where you served it.140.00 for 4 people to eat here with each having one drink is outrageous for the type of food being served.Sorry Mango Marley's, you have now been removed from our go to restaurant list. Tonight was definitely not a Mango Marley's night.

We had a great time! Had a date night. There was a guy playing the guitar and singing and it wasn’t over the top. It was good music where you could still hold a conversation. The food was great! We got the cheddar bites for appetizer. I got the fried shrimp and fish combo with tator tots and my husband got the fire burger. He loves hot stuff and in 13 years of marriage I never seen him sweat from the heat. He loved it and said it had great flavor too. I can’t remember the name of my drink but it was delicious too. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

A friend and I had lunch there today and it was a great experience! We were immediately greeted at the door and taken to our table. Our waitress, Paige, was friendly and attentive! Our meal included the Soup du jour (Tomato Basil), Mango Chicken Salad, and Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. They were incredibly delicious! The atmosphere is beachy and delightful. As a new home owner, I am thrilled to have Mango Marley’s close by and I look forward to recommending it to others.

Just OK. It's the only option in Mexico Beach. I'm sure that's why it's so busy. I got the Mahi Mahi, and I've made better at home. The rice and beans that come with it were very good. My husband got fish tacos and said they were great. My adult sons liked their meals, but both said it wasn't anything special. Tater tots were like they were dumped out of a bag into a fryer and undercooked - no seasoning at all. Best thing about my meal was the watermelon margarita!
