The owner is very hospitable. The room was awesome, extremely clean, and the price was perfect with a full stove and fridge. We had a view of the Gulf and it was great.Local food trucks on the stretch of road and a local general store has everything you may need.We will be staying here again very soon. 12/10 in my opinion.Rooms: Full kitchen aside from a dishwasher, all new amenities, decent wifi (30 Mbps), great water pressure and hot water.Nearby activities: T. H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. 35 minute drive.The beach is at your disposal, easy access to the cleanest sand I have seen in a good while.Food & drinks: Local food trucks within walking distance. Local grocery 3 minute drive.

We needed a last minute place to stay during our travels through Florida and werelucky enough to find this gem. The owner, Charles, was extremely gracious and helpful. The accomodations were immaculate, spacious, comfortable with a spectacular view of the Gulf.

Heavenly spot with a great view of Gulf. Room was spotless with everything we needed. Charlie was very helpful, answering our questions. Mexico Beach is a quaint little beach town rebuilding after 2018 Hurricane Michael. It does need a few more restaurants. I wish we could have stayed more days, but definitely will come back.Rooms: Absolutely spotless rooms, decorated beach style, very welcoming.Walkability: Boardwalk to beach.Noteworthy details: Spotless room, great view, walkway to beach.

Absolutely GORGEOUS, SUPER CLEAN, comfortable room with a GREAT VIEW! Owner Charlie, and his sidekick, housekeeper Ashley, were warm, welcoming, and had an easy going, nice sense of humor.The hotel is directly across the street from the beach, super easy access! The hotel has a laid back, beachy vibe, promoting peace and relaxation! I will DEFINITELY be making this hotel my go to, beach escape place, and I WILL be telling my friends about this gem of a place!!Rooms: Super clean, brand new appliances, brand new room, nice, clean, beachy decor. EXCELLENTWalkability: Right across the street from the beach, walk right over to the beach in mere seconds depending on traffic and gait

Come fully prepared everything is far away and closes early. The motel was very nice and clean. The soda machine didn't work and we couldn't find the ice machine. We also never received the Wi-Fi password. All amenities were not available to us, But the owner was nice and I would recommend this motel for a short stay.Rooms: Very clean and newNearby activities: There is nothing around definitely the forgotten coast.Safety: So safe you really don't have privacy.Walkability: Gas station, food trucks, and the beach a cross the street. All close early 9pmFood & drinks: To laugh at. Bring your own. Or spend your time there driving.Noteworthy details: Beautiful beaches and great fishing. Didn't feel tourist friendly in this area.

The rooms are new( totally renovated since Hurricane Michael) and clean. We have a whole kitchen in ours and a pretty view of the gulf across the road. We are locals and are staying here while our home is repaired from damage, so its not business or vacation- but I am extremely pleased with them. The owner is helpful and on premises as well, and we were in an awful motel before and when I called To get us moved he let us come the night before and only charged us half the price out of kindness. They check and see what you need but aren't pesky, nosey or bothersome AT ALL-( I've heard horror stories about privately owned motels so I was concerned). Also - Pet friendly.I'd definitely come back here again and recommend it to my family and friends.The pics show us already moved in so the stuff sitting around is ours, the room was pristine, and also... I mentioned it has a full kitchen- there are dishes, pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils.. About everything you could need to cook a full meal. Also- wooden flooring BC coming in and out of a beach area is always sandy... They provide a broom and dust pan in each utility closet. No vaccums and people running on and out. You can just sweep up. For a longer stay ... Thats a convenience especially with a pet and toddler. Nice terrace with comfortable furniture. Ac works great. Mexico beach is a small community and a jewel in the crown of the panhandle. WiFi works great too.He even has emergency lighting installed, everything is up to code.Nearby activities: You can walk to get food or drinks. Golf cart friendly community.Safety: Very safe place, well lit area and close parking to rooms. Bay county patrols regularly as well.Walkability: This is a small community... You can walk to just about anywhere. People bike, ride golf carts, go for evening strolls.Noteworthy details: Small town atmosphere with a beach town twist!
