This RV park is a part of the beachfront hotel of the same name across the highway. You may use the hotel's beach and pool as part of your package here. The park seems rather new, it is quite clean and all amenities were in good working order. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The laundry and bathhouse are of cinder block construction and the staff informed us that those could be used as storm shelters if needed as the area was experiencing severe weather during our stay. They also phoned us to advise that the hotel was offering rooms at a very reasonable price due to the storm and we could take our pets. We did not take advantage of this but it appeared most in the park did.On the minus side, the spaces were quite small and there is no dog park, only a few grassy spots to walk a dog. There is a small lagoon on the north side of the park and there are signs of considerable erosion on the back end of several spaces, leaving the usable site somewhat short in places. They did have someone inspecting the erosion while we were here. The wind was horrific while we were here, This is not the park's fault of course but I am afraid that the wind may be a frequent problem, especially in the cooler months.Port St. Joe is a neat little town about ten miles east with some good places to eat. Not much in Mexico Beach though.Overall this is a nice park and I would recommend it if you're ok with the cons I mentioned.

This place is awesome! The rooms are nice and have a surprising amount of amenities, the room we were in had a full size fridge and a stove/microwave. They’re also clean upon arrival and they have a pretty cool way of dealing with towels where you just place the dirty ones in a bag and hang it on the door and they replace them with clean ones! The staff was super nice and helpful at check in and the convenience store in the lobby is full of good stuff.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was equipped with a full size fridge, a stove top and oven and microwave. A balcony overlooking the Gulf just feet away. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. This hotel beats a lot of the more high priced ones I've stayed at around the country and is set up for the perfect vacation.

We book every year, when we leave. This year (2023)our friends who we book slots beside each other, they had put someone in their spot, our paperwork had slot numbers and everything. This separated our kids for our once a year vacation that we paid for a year in advance. They offered no apology, no discount, or anything. The rocks are huge and hurt your feet, slots are too close and when you walk out your door, your looking at your neighbors sewer hose. Only thing that is good is your across road from beach. No cross walk so be prepared to run. Bathhouses are clean… we won’t be going back any more

We have been here for four months and can’t say enough good things about it. Easy in and easy out. We travel in a 40 ft fifth wheel. Some of the spots are pretty close together but still a great park. They have a brand new shower/laundry house. The have a community fire pit and picnic/grill area. Very quiet. The hotel is not open yet so there is no pool but right across the street from the beach. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. The other parks In Town do not hold a candle to this one. Everyone in the office is so nice!! They are dog friendly too with so many different places to walk them. Will definitely be back!

The ONLY things keeping this from a perfect 5 star review is the lack of a pool, which is slated to be open hopefully by 2024 per the staff, and the need for a full paving of the RV park. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect for our very first stay in Mexico Beach. You cannot beat the location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed it so much, we already booked our next stay before we even left.

We liked our stay, our first time camping at the beach. The beach is a short walk across the street, but no dogs allowed.Dogs are welcome on the beach just a couple miles down the road. At check in the lady was very kind, bathhouse is new and clean. All the hookups you need are included. The campsites are a bit close, but we had great neighbors on both sides. We went to Mexico Beach to have a quiet getaway, and that is what we got. Our best meal of our trip was at a hamburger food truck a couple of miles east of El Governor. The Ace Hardware has almost anything you need, except food, it is just a block away. Port St. Joe has a couple of places to get groceries, about 10 miles away.Be sure to visit the Shell Shack, and try the fish dip and steamed shrimp. Mexico Beach is rebuilding and looking great.

Great location right across street from fantastic beach. Great and friendly service. Bathroom and showers are new and kept very clean. Full hook up sites pretty much all new service since rebuild from hurricane damage. Hotel on beach across the street will be reopening soon also. Will be back.Walkability: Easy walk across the street to beach or you can go along the bike/walk trail through the town.

This is a very pretty RV park directly across the street from Mexico Beach. For those interested in visiting the beach, there is easy beach access directly across from the RV park. The RV park offers full hookup, has 20/30/50 amp, and sewer. There are other amenities such as complimentary WiFi and cable. There is a building where you can do laundry as well. The sites are pretty small and close together. We stayed in site 31 which was marketed as a lagoon view (back in to lagoon), but we were sad to realize that the view is completely obstructed by overgrown bush and brush. This was probably the biggest let down for us, but luckily for other guests who booked lagoon view sites, most of the other lagoon view sites actually offer views of the lagoon.I updated my review to change my rating from a 4 to a 3. After being here overnight and gaining another neighbor on the opposite side of us, we realized just how tight the spaces really are. Unfortunately, while we ate breakfast at our picnic table this morning, we dealt with the neighbor’s septic line going right beside it. It’s a shame the sites are so close together because this is otherwise a nice park. I just don’t think it can be rated higher than a 3 due to the cramped accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at the RV Park quite a bit. It is an easy walk from there to the beach, though it is across the street with no crosswalk. It is a fairly quiet campground with some nice bathhouses, laundry room, and pavilion with swings. The only complaint we had was that the parking areas are not paved and gets rather mucky when it rains. Minor issue though. We look forward to the pool by the resort opening for next time we visit this area.

Expensive and not worth it. Sites were all gravel and very small. Bathrooms were OK, but just painted cement block. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly. She had just moved down from Connecticut and needs to develop her southern charm.Good location though.

I RV’d at their campground this past week for 3 nights. The campground hasn’t fully recovered from Hurricane Mike in 2018, but let me tell you, the stay was perfect.Great, kind, cheerful staff who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is fun, quiet and enjoyable. The facilities; office, rest rooms and laundry were super. The best I’ve seen anywhere as I travel across America. The beach, yep, the beautiful Mexico Beach was directly across the street. Wow! And groceries, etc. a few miles away.Great staff, great location, come stay and see peoples dedication and grit at work…💕

We stayed 2-/2 months in the RV Park winter 2022. It was so clean, fun and relaxing. It is fantastic being right across the street from the beach. The park is well maintained with a couple spots for dogs to go potty, a free firepit with free firewood and a very clean laundry and shower house. The folks who work the office are all so nice and accommodating. Most of us who stayed were longer term rentals for the winter so it was fun to make new friends.

The view is awesome but how much are you willing to pay for that view? Be ready to fork out the bucks. Considering they had maybe 1/3 of their spots occupied, you'd think they would cut the prices a little. Oh wait! There was a hurricane down south and hurting people are looking for somewhere to go. That has to it.Lastly, there is No restaurant anywhere in Mexico Beach. Food trucks in places but no restaurant.Otherwise it is a very nice and clean campground.

It was nice that the park was walking distance to the best beach in the south!!!!The staff was very friendly!!But the campsites are too close to and our campsite 34 was a bit hard to back into...The campsite had big rocks that made it hard to walk on, ..The showers ,bathrooms and laundry is well kept, very clean.Looking forward to the queen to open back up... not leaving a nasty review, just posting my opinion..May God continue to bless

Great location with beach access across the street. The park has many long time rv'ers that stay for the winter. All the people are very friendly in this park. The RV parking spaces range from very tight to moderately tight. There are a few that let you breathe a little, too. The staff is very good here. Laundry room 4 washers and dryers with an ice machine for the park residents. I would consider this park if in the area again. My experience here is, there is an RV with a reverse plan that has 2 large living windows facing my living windows and door. These people never and I mean never pull the shades on the windows.I lift my shades and can watch what's on TV or get the full dining experience 24/7. Making the best of it today. The RV Park is across the street from El Governor Resort Hotel that was damaged from Hurricane Michael. It should open later this year. The storm surge went to the second story of the hotel during Hurricane Michael, wiping out everything in its path.
