I got the lunch special which included a dirty dog (chili, onions and cheese), tator tots and a bottled drink. The toppings were good and the tator tots were the best but the hotdog itself was a bit disappointing, kind of mushy. It wasn't as good as the hotdogs at circle K. Saying that, I will go back to try the Chicago dog.It's a cute little place with a Florida beach theme.

The Frozen Pelican in Melrose, Florida, is a hidden gem! Their smash burgers are some of the best and the Philly tots are the best I’ve ever had. This family-friendly spot serves ice cream, milkshakes, shaved ice, hot dogs, and more. The crispy French fries and tater tots are seasoned to perfection. Affordable kids meals! A must-visit! 🍔🍟🍦🌭

If you're anywhere near Melrose, you owe it to yourself to drop by The Frozen Pelican. It's a classic mom-n-pop comfort food lunch (& dinner) counter.The shaved ice is great. The hot dog selection is terrific. The burgers are some of the best around. On top of all that, the service (i.e., the people) is just top-notch. Nothing disappoints.

I love this place! So glad Melrose has this option now. The best cheeseburger for miles around! So many hotdog combinations. So many flavors of ice cream and snow cones. Fresh squeezed homemade lemonade. Courteous service. Hoping y’all add a chicken sandwich and chuckwagon sandwich! Nobody has a chuckwagon lol—it’s a breaded beef patty served with mayo lettuce and tomato. They’re big in Kentucky.Thanks! So glad y’all are here!

Great hot dog and all the fixings. Shaved ice gave me brain freeze, LoLThe people there are very accommodating., friendly, and I enjoyed sitting there and talking with the manager and staff. Highly recommend, for all ages.Kid-friendliness: Children friendly while I was there , nobody was out of line and or using bad language.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm handicap and it was easy access to the entrance and exit. Thank you for that.

Crazy amount of Hot dog toppings and they're all are reasonably priced. Lemonade and nachos were also great! My wife had the loaded dog and I had the new Yorker and some nachos. It was amazing. My girls had the philly cheeseteak and they loved it. Owner is local and very friendly. These people are great. This place is just what Melrose needed. My wife got "The Mango Tornado" shaved ice and it was the best shaved ice we have ever had. I am a bit of a hot dog fanatic and I sampled 3 of the specialty Hot dogs. They were all amazing, especially the Chicago style one! We will be frequent flyers to this place and look forward to the growing menu.
