We adopted Bronco from Puppy Hill Farms back in 2008. He was truly the best dog I ever had- sweet, gentle, and incredibly loyal. I miss him so much, but am so grateful that he was given a second chance through Puppy Hill Farms so I could find him & love him for the rest of his time.

My wife and I were looking for a New family member due to the loss of one of our owen. Our other two became lost. The perfect new family member was found during a visit at a Saturday event. Thats when Charm made eye contact with us. To our surprise he has been a resident at Puppy Hill for over 5 years. However, Charm has become our family member ever sence.

We adopted Sasha from Puppy Hill Farm at Gainesville Petsmart. The whole staff was so loving & attentive to all of the pets. You could feel their love for animals. They even helped me find my earring that out rambunctious girl pulled from my ear. Welcome home Sasha. We adore you.

This place "resues"dogs and cats. It needs to be closed down. Animal control NEEDS to get out there and shut them down. Not a soul was there except for the animals. I was trying to re-home my sister in-laws dog. But after pulling up and seeing the condition of this place, it made me want to open the door and let them run. Filthy nasty place. 3 cats were outside , beautiful .I didn't see any water bowels. And 1 was unresponsive. Our Temps yesterday was high 90's with a heat index of 107. I looked through the windows, and it was nasty. Dogs loose everywhere. All sizes,Their water bowels were all empty from what I could see. My neighbor went there to volunteer. She said it was disgusting and she would not go back. I didn't know she went there until after I had gone and was telling her about it.Anyway, as it turned out, not knowing she had been there earlier, I sat there in the parking lot and snapped these few pics.I wonder if the place they joined up with is any better. Simply known as LAM. of Keystone Heights.Find another place to send your dogs and cats.Oh, we found a young lady and her 4 year old who wanted our sweet Blaze. She sent us pics of him. He is loving the space he now has. Plus, he has a play buddy, a boxer. So we are very happy for him. He definitely deserves it.

I adopted my youngest dog from there during the free adoption weekend last year. Everyone was super passionate about the animals and really cared to see my newest fur baby get a great home. Staff knows a lot about each animal and can give you answers on personality, amount of training and personal history too! Great experience, greater staff and amazing new additions to any family.

My husband and I adopted a sweet puppy from Puppy Hill Farm. They are very clear that if for any reason things do not work out then to please return the pet to them unless you already have another wonderful home lined up for them. They want the very best for their animals. Unfortunately, through no fault of Puppy Hill Farm, this is what we ended up doing. We are not used to small dogs, especially a Chihuahua, so his high energy and the issues we were having with house training him were becoming a problem for our family. Aside from that, he is such a sweet boy! The owner and the volunteers are all very kind and answered any questions that we had. A volunteer even called us a few days during the week that we adopted him to check on us. When my husband returned him, he said that the inside of the building is similar to a house. There are separate areas but the animals are not in cages. Our little boy was placed in a decent dining room sized area that was wide open. Also, there are volunteers that come in during the mornings and others that come in the afternoons. On the weekends you do not see people there because they are at PetSmart in Gainesville on Archer Road from 12Pm to 4PM with many of the pets trying to adopt them out. This may also be why you do not, or usually do not get an answer if you call them. There is an email address on their website of which you can email the owner at, though, and she is responsive. Be polite and patient, as she has a full time job in addition to this business. I hope this clears up most of the questions and "issues" that some people seem to have with Puppy Hill Farm. There appears to be absolutely nothing wrong or horrible with this business. They love and take care of the animals. Go visit them at PetSmart from 12PM to 4PM on Archer Road in Gainesville one weekend! Maybe you will find your forever furbaby!

the manger or person over puppy hill farm is a old angry person I finally found my dog that has been missing at petsmart being adopted. After informing her that he was my dog she told me that legal the dog was theirs and it was nothing she could do about it. I was willing to even adopt him myself and she had no intention on being helpful at all.

I just adopted a sweet little boy from Puppy Hill Farm and I cannot say enough good things about them. They have been flooded with applications, but despite that got back to me in record time and very patiently answered all my questions. We love the heck out of our little Pointer/Bully puppy formerly named Franco, but now he's Dobby. Thanks so much ladies!

I went to the event in Gville today and met the most wonderful woman. I believe her name was Donna. She was such a kind loving soul and made the adoption of her Buttercup so easy. I was overjoyed to tears .....the match is purrfect! I am so happy. She was so quite and slept all the way home. Shes under the bed but thats understandable. Thank u for giving me a reason to get up in the morning and caring about me. We did change her name to Gracy. Im truly blessed to have met these woman. Mitzi Gilliam.

I work in animal rescue over 20 years myself. My dog had recently passed away. I filled out an app. Called, email them and texted them. Never responding back. Luckily I found a rescue that was very responsive and adopted from them. Do not recommend this rescue group. They don't appear to have the best interest of getting the dogs adopted.

Stopped by to try to rehome some animals and at the front door I looked in to see anyone and found just a bunch of different dogs of all sizes jumping at the front door with feces all over the floor!!!! This is inhumane!!!!

If I could leave a -10 review I would.I've donated to many animal rescues over the years, but I can tell you thoroughly 100%, I will not be supporting this particular location.

The process to adopt was super easy even in the chaotic times of COVID I was able to apply for a puppy online and then schedule an appointment to meet my pup.
