The employee who assisted us went above and beyond. From watching a YouTube clip I had saved to my phone so he could understand what we wanted to do to finding the pvc fitting that would work. Project is finished and everything worked out perfect. Thank you!!!Only down fall is they have so many neat items in the store I need to go back when I have some money to blow. ☺

I’ve used this store for three years that I’ve lived here but, I will no longer spend a dollar in this store went to get some lumber the guy was very rude ask him to trade three pieces of ply board he told my husband he didn’t like touching things twice… so with that being said I won’t darken their doorstep ever again workers there act like you are a pain if you ask any questions or need help so I will take my business somewhere else…

I do not choose to go here very often. I avoid if possible. PRICES are a solid 20 pct higher than most other hardware stores. It's because they are the only hardware/lumber store for 30 miles. And the discount coupons via email you get: be prepared to have it REFUSED at the register,it's frustrating. Management simply shrugs it off,not caring that it spoils the customer experience. Also ,train your lumber staff,one kid/team leader tried to tell me 15lb felt is thicker than 30lb felt,which is laughable. I truly hold my nose if I have to shop here. Sad.Also: I had an old floor associate rudely tell me to go buy a pair of pliers off the shelf (to remove a bolt so they could sharpen my chainsaw blade) he refused to let me borrow a store workshop pliers. Real Nast guy! I made a complaint and..~viola~ an assoc shows up with pliers and "helps me". Why do they treat customers LIKE DIRT? I know,they are the only store for 30 miles ,that's why....disgusting .

The people are about 1/2 and /1)2 here, 1,/2 are helpful the other 1/2 are bored and act resentful .Trust me when I tell ya I know how it goes I worked over 40 yrs. in the public you have to really put yourself out there.Being sincere can go along way

Small town hospitality at its finest! Very helpful.. I went into the store looking for activated charcoal due to my neighbor feeding my dog rat poison and the gentleman tall, darker-blonde hair, with glasses- I didn't catch his name unfortunately) and such a sweet, kind-voiced young-lady made sure that they went out of their way to not only try to assist me with looking throughout their store but also, they took the time to get on their phones, located what it was, where it was being sold at, and then made sure that I had the directions in which i needed to make it to the correct location of the store I was in need of that carried my desired activated charcoal. I don't know if they will see this post or not but I'd like to thank you from the very bottom of my heartw--@.) Keep up the great customer service! uh

Excellent local hardware store. Always have everything I need. They have an extensive knife shop ranging from novelty blades to Benchmade's. They even have a bulk-isle with screws that you can buy singularly.

I used to love Bryan's Ace, until I realized:1) They sell Nazi paraphernalia (see photo)2) I encountered an excessively grating, rude and hubristic employee (you won't have much trouble picking him out).Now, I avoid this place whenever possible. I will not support a store that sells products with traitorous and racist symbols of hate.

Always there to help you. The staff is friendly and they know their store. They don't just say down there. They walk you to the part and make sure it's what you need.Most box stores have little to no customer service. But not Bryan's Ace Hardware.

Service here is always good. We had a mishap and purchased paint then realized it wasnt in the correct base. Jerry helped get the issue corrected and we were on our way. Definitely good people and service here.

I love this ace hardware in Melrose! They are always so friendly and helpful! My Favs is Diana, Kareen, Paul, Jerry, Jim, Anthony & Kristy. Always run a great store! Clean as well! All of them are very knowledgeable and sweet as can be! !

Home-town feel for a branded hardware store, find anything you would expect in a home depot. Overpriced, but other than true value, the nearest hardware store is atleast 45 mins away..

always helpful staff and very knowledgeable.I would much rather spend the extra few pennies to shop at our local Ace then to go to a big box store, I like walking into a store where they know your name and make you feel like you're at home. a couple of these reviews sound like they're just from people that you can't make happy irregardless of what you do, I don't go shopping for political views and I'm not going to stop those views from me shopping in a local store. and if you think going to a big box store to save your few cents is good for your local economy then you are part of the problem with the economy. Ace is the place.

The so called female manager is beyond horrible. Typical Putnam county born and bred!! Mr Cunningham when your manager refused a return I have a receipt for she is WRONG! Horrible customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I haven't been there in quite awhile due to the distance from my house.My experience today was incredible! Everyone was very helpful! The gentlmen in the wood section was so awesome! They cut my plywood and 2*4's exactly as I asked and loaded it up for me! Praise God for real people who live their jobs,enjoy what they're doing and who went completely out of their way to take care of my needs! I WILL start driving to this location from here on out! Just moved to this area stopped by to check out one of the local Ace hardware stores as soon as we walked in we were greeted and the followed down every aisle by a different employee do they do this to everyone or just new faces felt very uncomfortable will not shop this store again

Awesome staff and service! Manager Colin and cashier Diana were extremely helpful and courteous. Diana also has a wonderful sense of humor and made the shopping experience that much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this store!

Great hardware store like they say ACE is the place this place is particularly well stocked and well staffed. They have a wide variety of items not just one type for many purposes they have many types for a purpose. Meaning they will have a selection of items that will fit your needs. Prices are very reasonable given their location. I guess that what ever you need in hardware they'll have it.Oh and it's a lumber yard too!!

It's changed! The vibe is off, like they are expecting you to shoplift of something. I counted 7 employees working in that small store an the garden center was sad. Plus the kid in garden didn't know anything about plants at all.. I doubt I'll go back

They always have what I need. Usually get sales items. Sometimes you just have to pay a little bit more because they are more convenient. Quality items, Ace Pro paint has proven to be good. Bought an electric grill which the wife likes and works perfectly

Great place to grab something you need, I just feel like there's too many bored staff most of the time. I don't think I've been there without being asked by 3 or 4 people if I need help finding something in the first 60 seconds through the door. Don't get me wrong; it's better than not being able to find help. It's just an overwhelming expectation when you know what you're looking for and want to get in and get out.
