I’m a first time pet owner and I recently adopted two kittens from the humane society. My little one was wheezing and hacking and I got terrified! I called all of the vets around the Melbourne/palm bay/beachside.. no one but emergency services could get me in. Being that I’m responsible also for various things I panicked at the pricing… somehow VetCo came up and I had no idea they at Vet services.. called.. they had an appointment!They told me what to do and I let them know I didn’t know much, it was my first time ever going to a vet.. but they reassured me and also loved on my kitten. Turns out she was sick! So glad I took her in and that my experience was awesome and positive. Also, It was financially feasible for me! Thank goodness. They also let me know my other kitten may have develop symptoms and how I could also help her get through it. Really really happy. Thank you 😊 will be coming back.

$600 of visits,tests and medications and 4 weeks of time for a ear infection they couldnt fix. It only went away after we used a mixture of alcohol and vinegar for 3 days and it has totally cleared up. Find another place to take your pet.EDIT::After reading other reviews we had the same issue as Nicole. The Vet acted like we were lying about the length of time my dogs ears were infected. We noticed it one day, called the vet the next day, couldnt get him in until the next. It happened that fast but the vet kept saying that we let it get so bad before bring it in. We corrected him 3 times and he ignored the correction. Very unpleasant man. The Vet assistant was very nice. I also had to make the appt online to get it that fast, when I called them directly they told me it would be the following week,about 5 days out.

This veterinarian's office was really great! It is located inside Petco- the pet store. They not only had a pretty open schedule but the ease of a one-stop shop for your pet (vet, food,toys, supplies, grooming, adoption, puppy training and much more, really make this place really good. Our tech went above and beyond and was truly great. However, the actual Veterinarian was extremely brief in their assessment and administration of vaccines, did not interact with us (the owners) only the tech, and as such didn't really give us any information on really anything regarding the puppy for its first visit. Maybe the vet was having a bad day. Everything else was very nice. Pricing was also pretty fair and less than many other local veterinarians.

This is a tricky office. Unfortunately, I’ve had two of my visits canceled on me (in the past couple months). The last because they don’t do dental work. Which is understandable but all I wanted was a consultation on whether I would need to have my dog’s teeth pulled since his puppy teeth are still in place and his adult teeth have grown in as a second set. I knew the procedure wouldn’t be done there but I was hoping they would at least see him to give me some guidance. Last appointment was canceled without providing me a reason.When either of my dog’s are seen my concerns are often downplayed and I have ended up driving an all the way back to my old location in Kissimmee where the vet staff is much more attentive, personal, and professional. Not much great stuff to say about this location. Had I known what the experience would be like this I would not have signed up for the Petco Vital Care Membership, since I don’t feel like I’m encouraged to have my pets seen here. To be clear, they’re not rude, there just doesn’t seem to be any desire nor ability to see my pet. If this is the only location close to you, you may not want to invest in the membership.

we took our dog to the beach and the next day his ear was completely crusted and hurting . right away i called every vet and vetco is the place that could see him the quickest so i took him in now maybe (3 days) after his ear was hurting. they pretty much tried to make me look bad and said there’s no way this just started (after i explained he’s never acted in pain or nothing has come out of his ears) until now. seemed like the assistant (i think) just wanted to argue with me about it. i would NEVER go here again. i love my dog and would never let him be in pain . so the fact that they tried to make me feel terrible about it was just wrong.

Called on a Sunday, at 11am, (site says they close at 2pm) Woman answers at the front desk. I tell her about my pets condition and she proceeds to tell me their NOT open. Well why are you answering the phone then? Why haven't you adjusted your hours online? She offered no answers. She didn't even offer to 'see' if someone may be able to see or help my Husky who has an upset stomach. Absolutely ridiculous, if you live in Brevard and your pet gets sick over the weekend, good luck, and God speed, because there is ONE "emergency vet" and I lost a pet under their care already. I wont make that mistake again. Left with no options. What Hypocratic oath!?

I’m so impressed with this veterinarian! Dr. Wagner and his staff are wonderful. We recently had a cat pass away that had many health problems over her short life. Our previous vet was good but expensive. With frequent visits plus all the specialists she needed to see, it really added up. But we did what we thought was best at the time.But with the new kitten we got this week, we decided to try Thrive and I’m so glad we did. The office and rooms were clean, it was quick and very thorough. I was impressed with the expertise of Dr. Wagner and everyone there is so caring. I left feeling confident that my kitten will have the best care possible over her lifetime. And the added bonus is that it’s a fraction of what my last vet charged.

I used this clinic for as needed care while waiting to establish with a home veterinarian. The care was always good. I got my dog chipped and caught up on her rabies vaccine after adoption. She was diagnosed with an infection after a routine fecal examination and we got medications filled through here and stool retested. My biggest complaint is the disorganization of the support staff. It seems that waits for simple services are unreasonable. I don’t know if it is a matter of being understaffed or a training or infrastructure issue, but the wait times and lack of communication are frustrating. Good clinic for simple pet care needs.

It was my dogs first time to see this vet, and my experience at the vet normally is we get there early and wait past our appointment time, not this time. We were greeted right away, my dog was weighed and we were guided to a room. I’m blanking on her name but the vet tech who helped us was very calming, helpful and knowledgeable. I was scared for my old dog he is 14 this year and he has become very fragile and anxious, the vet team there and Dr. Wagner were very accommodating and tried to help him without stressing him out. Such a good vet experience! Thanks guys!

I took my dog here because since he was a puppy he’s had extreme anxiety and car sickness, it’s close to our home. They’ve been our dogs vet since April of 2022 when we adopted him. He was due for his vaccines in July. I called to make an appointment on a Saturday. I was told he has to see the vet in Petco as they aren’t open on Saturdays. Fine, I said I know for sure he needs his rabies and a new yearly for simparico trio as we get the online order from Petco. Fine. She said the vet would discuss anything else he needed. My husband took our 18 month old dog on a Saturday. He spoke to the vet, she said he was great and only needed the rabies and yearly prescription. Awesome!! NOPE! Today his monthly med was canceled. I called and was told it was canceled because he needs to be seen and heartworm test. They said he saw a mobile vet in July that isn’t affiliated with them and there’s nothing they can’t do. But! They were able to read those visit notes even though that vet isn’t affiliated with them. Yet I made the appointment through them. I am no having to pay double since I have found a new vet to see my dog and write the new monthly medication. This place is a scam. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable vet who explains things to you. I will also be making a complaint with the BBB.*** there is no reason to contact me. My dog is no longer a patient there. I just want others to do their due diligence before using this vet. There are countless other reviews stating some context of the same experience I have had taking my dog there. I knew I should have my dog a different vet when I was charged $40 for his nail trim, when not all of his nails were trimmed, he was taken to another room without me to get it done and they fed him a bunch of cheese and peanut butter to do it and he had diarrhea for the day. But against my better judgement I continued using this facility for him due to how carsick he gets. My mistake. I have found a much better vet that is compassionate and caring and not in it for the money. He already has a scheduled appointment there to get him established and will not be requiring your lacking services anymore. Again don’t call me again, since I’ve alre received 2 phone calls and stated he is not a patient there anymore. Go read your 1 star reviews and thinks about what you guys could do differently since they all state the same thing.***

I had to put my Alaskan Malamute Timber down, he was at the end of his life and my veteranian gave me the shaft. I called Vetco and got an appointment for the next day, the price was reasonable and the vet talked us through the process step by step and they took care of the cremation. We got paw prints and some of his fur. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our regular vet was booked up when we got our new puppy Shelby so I tried the vet inside our Petco store. Best decision I could have made! The staff is WONDERFUL and the doctor is kind and knowledgeable. I plan on transferring our other fur babies here too!

Dr. Wagner and all the staff were very patient and kind with me and my dog Uziel. My dog has had issues with past vets and has to be muzzled but everyone was patient and kind to us. We went over symptoms and determined the best course of treatment. The prices were much lower than I was expecting.Everyone from reception on was just top notch in my book.

I went one day before the appointment to make sure they would be able to see my dog and do what my dog was in need. They said yes all fine and scheduled an appointment for the day. I had another appointment in another vet that I canceled to go to this location. They messaged me 11am saying the vet wouldn’t see my dog and fix what she needed. I lost my appointment in the other vet and had to take my dog to an emergency clinic. Ridiculous place do not count with them to take care of your dog. Will never go to this clinic again.

Dr. Wagner was THE WORST vet/personI have ever dealt with in my life! Extremely unprofessional and did not care to explain anything or even talk to me about my dog. The whole experience felt as if he just wanted to get paid and get it over with. The rest of the staff was friendly. Do not recommend to bring your puppies close to him.

I brought my kitty here a little over a month ago for some urinary troubles. I misunderstood the appointment options when I first booked and brought her in shortly before they closed. The vet and tech were so kind enough to stay later in order to help her and run a couple tests. It meant the World to me. I was already so anxious because she's almost 15, but they really are so sweet and caring. I won't go anywhere else and would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking help for their fur-babies.

Find a better vet! Horrible customer service. Got there 5 min late after rushing home from work and waited 15 min for someone to tell me I was too late to my appointment and I had to be rescheduled. Asked to speak with manager and explained what happened and they said I would have to wait for other appointments to be done before they could try to squeeze me in. It was just a rabies shot that takes 5 min.

Dr. Was knowledgeable and caring. Assistants were all very educated and cordial. The staff was polite and caring. I like that they have x-ray machine and are able to do blood work and administer meds if needed. Very professional and organized.

Showed up at 9 AM for an appointment. Doors would not open because Petco was closed even though Vetco was open. There was an employee sitting out front of the store on a bench watching videos on his phone. Daylight savings had just happened so I assumed maybe someone didn't show up to open the store or something. I called the Vetco number and talked to someone about it, he put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and told me the store was open. I advised him I could not get into the store so he put me on hold again and contacted the person inside and they came out to let me in. This whole interaction took about 15 minutes. I walked into the office and was told "sorry it's 9:17, since you were late we have to reschedule." There was no one else in the office or any other appointments scheduled until 9:30.We have been using Vetco for over 6 months now and the overall experience with them has been incredibly disappointing. After months of seeking help and advice with our puppy with incontinence they have done nothing other than cost us over $600 in tests and lab work that we didn't need. They won't even consider discussing medication options. Every time I go they just say something along the lines "well we to find out if X or Y is happening" which takes weeks each time. Meanwhile our puppy is *constantly* leaking all over the place, something we think needs immediate attention.Vetco is 100% more interested in following protocol for profit than helping your animal and I would recommend anyone seek other avenues before coming here.

Really would not recommend this place. I was asked to reschedule as I arrived 5min late. It would be understandable if the next day when I arrived on time I Didnt have to wait 15 minutes anyways :/ Exam is very basic and you will pay for more testings even to know what may be happening. I attest too that they only care about making $100+ off each visit than actually carrying for the animal that “could be facing a serious problem.” No honor or integrity in what they do.

Me and my cat Lily had a pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff and doctor were patient, kind, informative, and caring. Prices were discussed prior to anything major needing to be done and everything was clear and concise when it came to that. The care provided by the staff at this Thrive location was absolutely amazing. We found our new vet! Thanks again.

Dr. Johnston was fantastic as well as Jasmine,Needless to say I was worried about my bearded dragon and also the cost of treatment for whatever the issue was going to be. They were very knowledgeable and very caring,they made sure I understood all my options and didn't sugar coat anything to make me feel better they were very honest. I recieved absolute perfect care and for a price less than half of what I was expecting. I would recommend this Vet to everyone.

Yesterday was my first time bringing our puppy to the vet. Everyone was great! He’s very skiddish with getting his nails trimmed and while he did not like it they at least were able to trim them some. I had a question today about his preventative medications and called to ask that question. I’m not a fan that it goes to a call center and the person on the phone kept arguing that I needed to bring him in to be seen before I could get the medication. I stayed 4 times that he was literally seen yesterday and the person told me it didn’t matter because it was not discussed at the appointment yesterday and he would need another $59 exam and then the cost of the medications. After 10 minutes of going back and forth and me finally saying it’s fine I will find another vet that doesn’t have a call center to take him to the person put me on hold to call the actual West Melbourne clinic. We really enjoyed Dr Wagner and are happy with the care he gave our puppy. Now I just know that if I need to speak to any staff I unfortunately will have to drive to the facility instead of calling.

Everyone was very nice and gentle with my cats. My only concern was that I'm a returning customer. We've been there multiple times but they still asked if this our first time there and couldn't find our account.
