A great place to eat in the Melbourne Beach areaAccording to their website, they are, “Dedicated to serving great food, breakfast that will get your day to the best possible start.” This was my first time trying this restaurant after having driven by this location for over 20 years. It is in a strip center built on the north side of Beach Avenue and mere steps from the beach. There is plenty of parking. They have inside or outside seating. The outside seating is small 2-person tables set on each side of the walkway with metal chairs. The inside seating is mostly a series of booths and some seating at a counter to the right as you enter. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We saw and were helped by at least 5 different waitresses. The menu is a good selection of breakfast favorites from basic eggs, to omelets to French toast and pancakes. I tried the bacon scrambler with home fries and an English muffin. The food came out quickly. It was a good portion and was very tasty. I like the English muffin the most. Overall, between the service, location, food, and cost I thought this was a very nice restaurant and I would recommend it to anybody wanting a delicious meal in the Melbourne Beach area.

Another great review from my wife and I. Walking in about 1:00 PM knowing the place closes at 2:00 PM. Asked if we were too late to be served. The entire staff welcomed us in. The waitress took our order right away after bringing out drinks. Our freshly made order of a Western Scrambler and a Western Omelette came out in minutes. Both were overfilled with all the ingredients we loved. We ate to our delight. Wife could not finish her dish and asked for a box... Boom the waitress was right back with the box (and the check... Darn it lol). We left full, and happy with the friendliness of the staff, the good food served up fast as we left at 1:30 PM. So glad we decided to stop .

Just left this wonderful breakfast place. I submitted an online pickup order, but changed my mind and wanted to eat inside. They accommodated me and I got my order in less than one minute. We ordered French toast and an omelette. It was fresh, warm and delicious. Sometimes simple recipes are the best and that's why this place is great. I can't wait to go back.

We make a special trip to this café when we come to town. We discovered the location when in town on a visit. Now, we make a point of eating breakfast there when we come back.The food is wonderful. My husband loves eggs benedict but it can be hard to find it done well at a restaurant. It is consistently delicious here. I love their omelets. They are packed full and cooked perfectly.The wait staff is equally as wonderful. They are very friendly, efficient, and helpful. One thing that we noticed is that they also help each other out. We have seen at so many restaurants that the wait staff don't help each other by offering coffee or water to any table rather than only their tables or taking a dirty dish as they walk by regardless who has the table. They obviously have regulars as well because they use the name of many of the customers.I highly recommend eating here.Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options available.Parking: Lots of parking since it is in a shopping center.

6/11/2019 - first time to the new extension and renovation. Vow!. Very welcoming, spacious and so attractive. Food still delicious as always. Fast services too. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.Love this place. It doesn't look much from outside, but u will love this Cafe. It was full and lively. Staff super friendly and attentive. Services were quick and spot on. The food excellent and delicious of course. Cheap too. Must go and eat there. I ordered the Sunny Side scrambler. Oh yummy

We had a wonderful experience at Sunnyside Cafe yesterday! Our server was lively and and entertaining! She seemed to really know the ins and outs of what each of us would really like for breakfast! We just so happen to be a table filled with allergy sensitive, or medically required food sensitive individuals. I won't mention the server's name because otherwise the service was absolutely stunning. But the acai bowl contains that Brazilian berry that the server described as a "natural sweetener". When we left, since we enjoyed my acai bowl so much and a few members of my party had tried it, we looked it up that little Brazilian berry is a natural stimulant that contains twice the caffeine of coffee. The server didn't know, and it was my responsibility to check before I ate half of the bowl plus some. Because it really was delicious. But it will aggravate a health condition. That was the reason for the loss of one star. We really enjoyed ourselves otherwise!

Great local spot with phenomenal service and an extensive breakfast menu. Reasonable prices and good portions. I typically don’t eat breakfast out but enjoyed the meal and refills of freshly made coffee. This place definitely has that small town feel where most of the customers know each other, local police officers are coming in for food, and the server will chat you up about summer and school.

Ordered an omelet that came with bread and potatoes. The waitress asked me if I wanted toast or a biscuit. I selected the biscuit I also got a fruit cup in place of potatoes. When I got my check I had been up-charged for both the biscuit and fruit with no prior notice. Should have been told of the charges upfront!

Pretty great place Staff is really friendly without being over friendly or asking too much if you need anything else. Food is great. It’s right next to the beach Prices are still very affordable 10$ for breakfast and coffee is good to me so overall I’d give a 4.5 but there is no half star It’s not the closest place to my home but this one is great when my regular joint is not opened

This local stable is a very busy place, but rightfully so, as the meals are reasonable & so DELICIOUS! Outdoor Seating is popular as the beach is just steps away, but that’s not to say that indoor seating isn’t good Too! Breakfast & lunch is very reasonable, good portions & very tasty!!😋

There is limited seating here but there is an indoor and outdoor seating option. There are earthy colors on the inside which in my opinion makes for comfortable seating. They do have specially items here and is not your regular breakfast diner. They have excellent choices for breakfast and have daily specials. They use premium ingredients here and it shows. I had the stuffed French today with banana and strawberries which was really excellent! I also had the hamburger patty along with eggs and toast. They use really butter here and give you a generous amount. The staff here are very helpful and patient. It is worth going here and this does seem like a special place to have a really good breakfast.

Amazing service....busy inside, so sat outside (only one). Waited less than 2 minutes to be greeted, drink came right out and then ordered. Food literally arrived within 7 minutes of ordering! Was checked on numerous times. Everything was warm and tasty! Great food. Great service. Great price. Definitely will come back!

Sunny side cafe was amazing! I had the eggs Benedict and they were cooked to perfection. I was also happy they had freeze squeezed OJ, what a treat! The cafe was quiet and clean, great atmosphere. Will visit again soon.
