A great spot in Melbourne, awesome atmosphere and vibe!This place does great business so you may want to call ahead for a reservation.Staff were amazing with recommendations and overall just awesome.The crab cake started the meal and was delicious!The fried pub haddock dinner was hot and tasty and fried were also. The slaw was greatThe grouper sandwich was also awesome, hot and fresh with some great slaw!

Chef Keys is amazing he definitely made this place better from the first time I tried it. Don't let the atmosphere rating fool you it is a nice cozy place beachside. The food and service are hands down some of the best you can get in the area. I'm from Maryland so I'm particularl about my crab cakes. While not an exact rendition it was a Maryland style crab that and only know of one other place with a good crab cake around here in Melbourne/ Melbourne Beach area. The sticky duck wings were tasty, crispy and sticky good. Lasagna Pizza was amazing with a fresh crust and all the makings of a nice lasagna one of my favorite meals. I think the sandwich was called a Which came first? Being there is egg and chicken on it was nice and tender with a huge egg yolk that you can see in the video popped and drizzled nicely on the plate so I could dip it in rightfully so. The ownership kills this restaurant though. He doesn't know it but he was rude to me and also my wife. I spent well over $300 there and he still had the audacity to be rude.

Our first time at Ocean 302 was a win! Quick attentive service and excellent food. We had the fish and chips and Atlantic Sallmon with pistachio cake for dessert. The chutney complimented the Salmon perfectly and the spicy tartar with the fish and chips was great. The cake was fluffy and sweet. I will recommend this place to everyone. Charles was our server and his timing checking on us was perfect. Cheers!

We got a bad server. He dropped off water and was gone for 10 minutes or so. Not sure where he went but I saw him come back in the front door. He didn’t offer up the happy hour specials that we heard the nearby waitress discussing so we had to ask. He reluctantly shared them.When we finally could order, the food was brought out in reasonable time.The pizza was good. Better than Oceanside Pizza next door? Nah. But it was good.The burger was cooked to medium as requested but the burger was so burnt and charred in some areas, it was inedible. The lack of quality control when plating is a shame. Nobody should have sent a burger out looking like that.We didn’t bring it up. We didn’t want to have the conversation with the waiter. We just paid, overtipped and left. We won’t be back. If they can’t catch a burnt burger from going out, we don’t want to try some of the more expensive options.

we had a wonderful meal at this delightful restaurant it has the feeling of a supper club. It's warm and cozy and inviting. The food was perfect. I had fish and chips which was the best I've ever had. The fish was haddock and fresh, lightly breaded and very tasty, all four of us had wonderful meals. The drinks were perfect. A good pour was had by allwe all highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again.

I hosted a business dinner at Oceans 302 and everyone agreed it was a great dinner. I sure was Jamie and she was attentive but not intrusive throughout the meal. Service was excellent. The chef visited us before we ordered to tell us about some special off menu items. He was engaging and it was really cool to hear his take on what got him excited.We didn't have any appetizers but two of us ordered the shrimp bisque soup. This was a cream-based soup. The flavors were pretty good but it was a little bland and a little thinner than how I normally think of a bisque. There wasn't a ton of meat in the soup either. It was okay but not great.I had the fish and chips which came with several made in-house sauces. Everything was good but, to be honest, it's really hard to put a twist and elevate such a simple meal. It was just okay.The people at the table who had the scallops entree loved them and said they would absolutely order those again.Overall this was a really good meal and the atmosphere was great.

We loved this place. Great cocktails, including a smoked old fashioned. Their pizzas are made in a wood fired oven with creative toppings. Try the truffle pizza! They have a Brussels sprout appetizer that is fantastic. My husband had a lamb burger he loved. We went back again and had wedge salads that were so delicious and then split a pizza. We ate at the bar the 2nd night. The 2 women bartenders work hard and do such a good job. If we return to Melbourne Beach, Ocean 302 is a must stop!

We have been here twice now. Food is fantastic. Service is great.The salmon is excellent. Pork chop dish and fish and chips also a win. Menu is unique. We actually had a couple different pizzas for appetizers along with the Brussel sprouts all so good. We are very particular about food and this is the best food we've had in a while. Go check this place out it's worth it.

I went tonight for an after-party for the first time, and it was pretty good. They had a limited menu for the evening, and they had some good selections. I got the crispy duck wings and the pasta Primavera.The duck wings were delicious, and the sauce was tangy and sweet. The wings could have been a little crisper.The pasta Primavera was good. The pasta was slightly under done, and it needed a little more seasoning. Other than that, it was delicious!

We live up the street and we get dinner whenever we can sneak away from the kids. Yes it's a bit pricey, but the food is always good. Great atmosphere and location. We always sit at the bar, and the bartenders have always been great. Mike (manager) always seems kind and cheerful; always a pleasure chatting with him. Covid caused him to grow out his beard! We have been coming here for years! Pictures of our meals from Saturday and Sunday evening!

Found this farm to table establishment on Yelp thanks to all the people who contribute so my partner and I can eat well on vacation. Hidden in a strip mall, Ocean 302 is a gem located in Melbourne Beach. We came for dinner last night and were surprised at how big the restaurant was full of patrons which reservation is highly recommended. The menu has fresh, local, and interesting choices from small bites to full dinner entrée options. We began with Spinach & Artichoke Boule (Fire Roasted Artichoke, Baby Spinach, Mascarpone, Parmesan, Herbed Feta, Sourdough Boule Loaf) as an appetizer. For our entrees, we got Skirt Steak (Char-Grilled, Marinated, Yuca Fries, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Cherry Tomato Chimichurri and the Airline Chicken Breast (Pan-Seared, Crispy Skin-On, Buttery Mashed Potatoes, Chefs Vegetables, Lemon Pan Sauce). All our meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was Charles and did an outstanding job serving our table. Ambiance was comfortable. Prices were reasonable given the freshness and quality of food. We can recommend this place.

Very disappointed. The menu online isn’t the same one as when you go into restaurant. My husband and I came down here for a getaway. We decided to try this place from the menu shown online. Once we were seated they gave us a menu and I told my husband that it wasn’t the same and what I wanted wasn’t on this menu. We asked the waitress and she said that they change the menu every 6 months. It doesn’t state online that they do this. We left and didn’t eat here.

Made a reservation on Valentine’s Day for 6:30, it was packed as we expected. Told us tables were being cleaned and that it would be a couple of minutes… they sat us 30 min later… no big deal… our server stopped by the table and filled up our water glass and didn’t come back for 15 min. Ordered a drink and got that 20 minutes later, and that’s after I went and asked him if it was on its way. Ordered lobster ravioli, he returned 30 min after we ordered and informed us that they were out of that dish. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. No apology for anything. Very disappointed!

I love the atmosphere and the staff, they are very nice and accommodating. The cocktails are out of this world and worth every penny! But the food is somewhat lacking for the price. Although the pizzas are fantastic.

Would give this gem more than 5 stars if I could. Started with the house special Ocean 302 cocktail which was light, refreshing and sparkled... Literally with little sparkles. So fun and delicious. Ordered seared scallops served over mushroom risotto and the dish was incredible. So delicious, flavorful and really well seasoned. Service was top notch and the room is beautiful but laid back comfortable. Go here and treat yourself to a spectacular meal. Did I mention sparkles!!

Overall, this is a decent restaurant. It is priced for a 4- star restaurant but the food quality doesn’t match. My wife and I enjoyed an appetizer, two main courses, a few drinks and left full, but not “wowed” by the food. It’s a great environment. We showed up around 5 on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t too crazy. The service was just okay. Don’t expect 4-5 star food for the price. Bonus: they have a mouth wash dispenser in men’s bathroom..first I’ve seen, ever!!

Hands down the best culinary experience I’ve had in Melbourne. First the ambiance is modern yet warm and the staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.Ive been twice in a week. Both times we got the harvest Brie for an appetizer (it is that good). We also had the swine & wine, mainely scallops, seafood heaven pizza, truffle love pizza, the 302 LTO burger and a beet salad that was on the Valentine’s Day menu.I honestly cannot say anything negative about any of the meals. They were each incredibly tasty, the flavors and seasonings were inspired and the quality of the ingredients were top notched. I could go into how each dish was way more interesting than the name, but I ask that you pull up the menu online to get an idea of the creativity placed on making each dish unlike those in other restaurants.My personal faves were the Harvest Brie (appetizer) and the Truffle love pizza, but again, I enjoyed them all. Oh, great beer selection as well :-) I highly recommend this place.

Great service and awesome, AWESOME food. The 32oz Tomahawk steak can feed 3 grown men and was the best steak I have ever had!!! We added a few scallops and they were almost as good as the steak. Calamari was also fantastic.

I have eaten here many times and usually the food is amazing. Last night it was not. Food was very bland and unimpressive. I had company from out of Town that requested we dine here as they loved the food previous times and they were disappointed. Ordered Truffle fries and were served regular fries, a LTO burger with no tomato and were served a mushroom burger. It wasn’t like it was busy, actually pretty empty. Our server Abby( she was great) corrected it right away and the burger was still served with tomato. I guess everyone has a bad night and I will return. Also wish they would put some favorites back on the menu that they no longer have.

From the very start the host staff was so friendly and inviting. Our waitress Emily was so attentive and sweet. The manager Banan ( a sweetheart) made sure that we had the best experience possible. We were impressed by the personal attention and felt warm and welcomed.We started with a delicious crab cake and we shared the savory salmon and delicious shrimp scampi. To top it off, we had crème brûlée cheesecake, which was out of this world! We will definitely come back to Ocean 302 when we are back in town! Thanks for a memorable eating experience!

Some may say it's a tad pricey but I say honestly the price is on point for value, taste, location and service. I have not found one item I haven't liked and this is rare. My new #1 of top places to eat!

We visited for the first time and found the atmosphere lively and welcoming. The open kitchen and bar area add alot of interest. The menu was unique and had so many great options to choose from. They have a great beer selection on draft and offer entree specials and craft cocktails. Half the restauarant is high tops by the bar along with bar seating at the chefs table open kitchen and bar. The other half would be more family friendly with booths and regular height tables.Great spot for a special occasion or date night. The food had great presentation. My husband's burger had to be eaten with a knife and fork because the bun had gotten soggy from the toppings. I ordered short rib pasta, which was fantastic. The calamari app was also very good. Portion sizes were on the smaller side. Worth a try, you may love it!
