Our son brought us here. This is a wonderful family owned fresh seafood market. We ordered the baked Grouper Sandwich. It was marvelous. We enjoyed talking to one of the owners. They take such pride in quality seafood. Make sure you stop and expierance great food.

Fabulous seafood truck at Sanibel Farmers’ Market. Surf and Surf for dinner. The scallops and shrimp tasted like they were just taken from the water. Sweet, succulent and tender. It does not get much fresher than this unless you are on the boat. Highly recommended

This is the best seafood spot in Florida! We went here to try the grouper sandwich(s) after some research on where to find the best, and to no surprise, island Seafood Market takes the prize! We had both the blackened and crispy grouper sandwich - both incredible!! And the service/hospitality made you feel like a neighbor and good friend stopping by. We also bought some king crab and lobster tails which were divine for dinner. We will, without a doubt, be back!

First time experience. I'm not a fish eater, but wanted to do something special for Father's Day. This place definitely has a hometown vibe. Their staff was friendly and took the time to educate me about my choices and even prepped the fish for grilling by removing the scales and find. Needless to say it was a big hit!

Called ahead of our visit to inquire if they had any hogfish. The staff sat aside the amount asked for. When we arrived we decided to have lunch while there. Everything was absolutely delicious, the staff was very friendly and we left with our hogfish in hand. Great place to purchase fresh seafood and to eat lunch. We will absolutely be back!

This is a great local market. I've lived here for 27 years and had no idea it was right in our back yard. We bought this gorgeous fresh red snapper along with some lobster, shrimp and grouper.

You will not eat a better fish sandwich!! This place makes the most delicious fish sandwiches ever! Fresh caught local fish and baked with a crisp! YUM! Do yourself a favor and try this wonderful place! (the only complaint I would have is that the coleslaw is dry and has no flavor, and your only side choice is a bag of chips yuck. But you are here for the sandwich anyways and its still worth it!)

Had great peal & eat ship at the market today for lunch. Actually tried to have it a local restaurant (unsuccessful), then went here to get a really fresh and really a delicious experience. Also bought some to take home. Prices are great, eat-in or take-home. They will also pre-cook your order to take home. Cocktail sauce was also excellent. Service was super friendly. They appreciate your business! Even gave us some ice to pack our to-go order in so it could survive the afternoon out in the Florida heat. Thanks for a great experience.

We love this place. Service is great! They don't make you feel silly if you ask a question. We buy our seafood and fish here. Finally had the chance to get a grouper sandwich. Mine was blackened, hubby crispy. Both were very very good!!

Great fresh seafood, from local waters awesome folks work here, super knowledgeable and friendly. Oysters, clams, crab as well, some fish, like the various selections of Grouper can be upwards of $24lb, but this is outstanding fish, you can't eat this quality of seafood out for $12 a couple, so it helps to put it in that perspective. They'll cook you up some eats off a short menu as well. Small parking lot is tricky on busy days. I plan to be a regular here.

We ordered some sandwiches ahead so we could have them at the airport. Let me say this my crab cake sandwich was amazing 🤤. Everyone else enjoyed what they ordered as well. I'm hoping next time I can actually enjoy this lil spot more.

If I could give 10 stars, I would give 10 stars. If I could give 25 stars, I would give 25 stars.Drove past the market a few times while staying in the area and finally stopped in today to pick up some fresh grouper and shrimp.Grabbed a baked grouper sandwich for lunch and 2 lbs. of grouper and shrimp to go. It was phenomenal. Staff was fantastic. I'm definitely going to make it a priority to pick up fish from the market whenever I'm in the area.

We stopped here on a rainy day for some local seafood...it was my birthday! We were so pleasantly surprised!!!! Amazing fish sandwich... probably one of the freshest and best I've ever had! We also enjoyed some delicious stone Crabs and their home-made dipping sauce was killer!!! Awesome service by owner and his mom, Nathalie! Sooooo happy we stopped and we will be back...all the way from Miami! We took some smoked salmon home...and can't wait to try it! Good value, too!

Great place to grab lunch. The fish is taken fresh from the showcase to the kitchen. We had blackened grouper sandwich (chips & slaw included) and it was fabulous! This is NOT fast food...it's made fresh so be patient! We also grabbed some large raw shrimp to cook at home for dinner. This shop was constantly busy with people coming in to buy fresh fish/seafood. Shows us that it's a good place to return to for fresh food!

We bought some amazing fresh vermilion snapper and shrimp. It was so fresh and tasty. Service was great and the prices were reasonable. They even had some home grown mangoes when we were there! Best place to get fresh fish on the island.

Excellent and so fresh. I had the baked grouper sandwich with blackening seasoning. I tried a boiled crawfish that was fresh and flavorful. The staff was good at helping me decide what to order. The sandwich ingredients were all very fresh.

On vacation from Ohio and stayed in Cape Coral. Found this place via google and WOW were we impressed.The staff was awesome and the place was spotless. My grouper sandwich was delicious and my wife’s shrimp was amazing.I wish I could give this place 6 stars. We are now trying to shuffle things around for our last day to see if we can go eat lunch their one more time before we leave!

Second time to go for smoked mullet and it is delicious and not dried out. Also Gulf shrimp in shell and fresh snapper filet, which we took home were very fresh when we ate them too. Love to come in for fresh seafood here. The display is always well arranged and covered well with ice. Can't lose here.

The bf and I were passing through on the way back to Orlando from camping at Cayo Costa, all we wanted after camping was a hearty fresh fish sandwich (watching everyone fishing made us envious 😅). Stopped here after seeing the rave reviews on the GROUPER SANDWICH and I MUST SAY it was the best dang grouper sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I know my seafood!! I am well traveled and I insist you stop by Island Seafood Market if you are in the area and order the grouper sandwich blackened, you won't regret it! The dopamine from eating this sandwich will propel me the 3.5 hours home 😂!

Hands down the absolute best Grouper I have ever had. Got a lb of shrimp, paid to get them peeled and devained, they didn't do that but were very apologetic, the shrimp were huge and excellent.

Love all their seafood. Best gulf shrimp. So fresh and sweet tasting. Nothing better. Frozen Florida lobster tails are a treat. Wonderful varieties of fish. Seafood heaven!!
