All the staff are very pleasant. Appointments are easy and they take very good care of your pets. I have 2 dogs and a cat who were well cared for. Would recommend them to anyone. There prices are also great!

Well I was only there once. The office staff were polite and the techs appeared to be very skilled, they impressed me.Now, they do have vets rotating through there and the vet that we saw did not impress me at all. He basically sent me home without treating the problem. Which got worse within a day or two.But that is only after one visit so we'll see. And we'll see if we get a better vet,or if the one we saw was just bad timing for us. It still remains to be seen.If when I go back I'm happy, I will rewrite my review in a more positive light. They are a bit less expensive and everybody there was very very nice.

Yall I love them! My dog is extremely anxious and needed sedation for his annual shots. I was not a fan of the male vet I met the first time I attempted to get his shots. However , there is a female vet that works there.i absolutely love her. She did the sedation, nail trim his exams, and his shots. She as well as the tech were very attentive and understanding. I love the techs and receptionist. They are all very nice people.

This place is a fifthly joke. The staff was friendly, but the doctor was an a- hole and very unprofessional. He didn’t even say good afternoon or goodbye. Treated my dog badly by saying his teeth were horrible in a disgusting manner. I wanted to answer that his clinic was horrible as well, but I kept it civil, since the doctor forgot his code of civility. Not surprised if people come out sick from there. The structure of the place is dirty as hell and falling apart. The prices are not that low either. Would NOT recommend it at all.

I have been taking my dog, Della, to them for years. They're not only affordable, but the staff and doctors are very kind and caring. They always try their best to make you and your pet feel comfortable and cared for.

My friend recommended that we take our new rescued dog here and we are glad we did. The prices are good and the staff is well organized. Kudos to the pharmacist for her tips for rebates. My recommendation is to get vinyl or metal chairs in waiting areas to keep space looking and smelling fresh.

You’ve Got a Friend in Mascotte is wonderful. We’ve been going to them for 11 years now. They take such great care of our furry family and they genuinely care. Chloe is Amazing. She really has helped us with all of our boys, and this year we had to make the hardest decision to put our sweet lab Chase down. She was so wonderful during that time. Highly recommend this Vet office, all the staff and doctors have been great!

I'm going to start this by saying the receptionist/counter staff and techs are all fantastic. The "doctor" is where my problem lies. My issue is 6 months ago I booked an appointment to have a lipoma looked at on my dog. Vet visit went great, got the estimate, VERY affordable but said I would need time to set the money aside. Not saying it wasn't mentioned but I do not recall being told I had 60 days to schedule. Well I missed the 60 day window ok my fault no problem. Schedule another evaluation, this time with a new doctor. He comes into the room for MAYBE 45 seconds to a minute. Didn't even say a word or make eye contact with me. Visually looked at my dog shakes his head and walks out of the room. So now I'm scheduling the surgery with the front desk, which more than doubled the original estimate. What ever I get it. Earliest appointment is 2 months out. Call multiple times while waiting for my appointment date to check on cancellations etc. show up for the surgery appointment to be told there is now an additional $140 being charged for blood work, which I was told was already included with what was pre paid. Then it becomes a medication adjustment for the dogs weight difference (a 2 lb difference from last visit) again what ever I just want this surgery done. I make it 5 minutes down the road to a phone call we can't perform the surgery "Dr" says there isn't enough skin to be able to close it, which is odd as the lipoma has caused the skin to stretch. But I'm no vet, just seems like an lazy excuse. Hes recommending to see a specialist. I've had great experiences up until this point. I mentioned some of this to the woman on the phone and she chuckled saying I'm not the first to complain about this situation with this doctor. So I was given two recommendations and can't be seen for another 15 days. I feel this "doctor" could have just told me this from the get go rather than playing cat and mouse.

to clarify the facts? in response to your lack of compassion and humanity. I made the appointment for 2/19 and I received all your alerts notifying me of the appointment, like I have in the past since my 3 cats and my dog are seen in your clinic, I called early on 2/20 because i did (like you stated in your public reply) FORGOT, I was never belligerent and I never scream any of the receptionists, first because I am disable and a brain aneurysm survivor with permanent brain damage and I don't have the energy or stamina to be belligerent or screaming. The First receptionist that answer the phone and old woman "CHICHI" did not allow me to explain why I missed the appointment, she just said that there were no exceptions made otherwise everybody will be getting their refunds when missing appointments, I asked her if I could speak with someone else that maybe would understand the reason why I "FORGOT" my appointment, and she put me on hold to instruct the next receptionist a 20 year old girl to give me the same exact answer, my reply to her was that I felt I was talking to my daughter and I didn't feel comfortable discussing with her the reason why I missed the appointment the day before so I asked her if I could speak with the office manager, her answer was that you were very busy, I never screamed, I started crying, because those $50 that you stole from me were very difficult for me to save, those $50 that you stole from me were to treat my DOG that needs medical attention, those $50 that you stole from me makes a difference on how much food I can buy per month, those $50 that you stole from me will take me 4 months to save, those $50 dollars are a big hole for someone like me that live under a very scarce disability check each month, none of your receptionists can say I scream at them that is a LIE, none of your receptionists can say that I was belligerent that is a lie, what they can tell you is the truth, that i was begging them to reschedule the appointment and they asked me for another $50 dollars that I don't have, I started crying, my husband heard me crying and he was the one that called your office to request to talk to a manager at that point your receptionists started hanging the phone on him, what you call HARRASMENT was the response of your receptionists hanging the phone on him, when he called back he said he could do this all day until we could get in touch with the manager and again they hang up on him, when finally you came to the phone screaming at him that you were not going to tolerate your girls to be treated like this, he told you we wanted a refund so we could treat our Dog at a another clinic, you hang up the phone on him too, those are the facts. I didn't want to discuss my personal situation with any of your receptionist, i just wanted to privately speak with the office manager thinking for sure she will understand the medical reasons why I missed the appointment, but I was wrong, those $50 dollars that I pay for an exam that would have taken your VET 5 minutes of his time to check and approve her treatment, which is a dental cleaning on a 12 year old poodle that has gum INFECTION and needs antibiotics. the lack of compassion in your small clinic shows the type of humanity you will have with the pets we put in your care. THOSE ARE THE FACTS.

If you just need vaccines, by all means come here.If your dog is ill, don’t.My Bernese is on her death bed because the vet didn’t take a proper look at her.I visited this vet twice in 4 weeks. Spend $500. Multiple medications.No blood work was done, no scans.The vet just guessed by looking at her.She’s now at a different vets because she cannot walk and I’ve been told to prepare for the worst.My five year old Bernese could have been saved if someone did their job properly.I phoned and asked for any possible refund to help me with my new vet costs and I was told “it’s trial and error” no refund given.I’ve never felt so upset. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We brought our 11 month old kitten who had stopped eating. We saw a Vet on Friday and our kitten was worse saw another Vet and gave him antibiotics injection and sent home with antibiotics. Both Vets misdiagnosis!!! Was told he had infection from fleas when he had FIP!!!! Took kitten to Emergency Vet and Thank God told me about FIP WARRIORS!!!! Correct medication is arriving today and takes up to 83 days to cure! But there is great hope Pete will recover! But no way would I ever take another pdt of ours to these Vet office. Now they have added that it is our fault that we declined treatment. It was not even suggested that bloodwork. Or an xray be taken ! It w never never suggested!!! Or advised!!! Aend the first Vet told that shehad no idea that the flea medicine We used was bothsring Pete to go home and bathe him 3x! Now trying to put the blame on us that we declined help for Pete! AND IF YOU DO NOT HAVETHE FUNDS TO PAY ...YOU AND YOUR PET ARE TURNED AWAY!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE CLINIC! Our Pete passed away yesterday😪

I totally love this vet and the entire staff. My 14 year old parsons russell gets great senior care there, as well as my mini-schnauzer who has been a patient there since he was born. I drive over an hour from Tampa because I believe in this team of professionals.

My dog had a problem what I thought would be very expensive to surgically repair. All the YouTube videos said it's better to do nothing than the $1,500 surgery. I went to You Got a Friend. I found the they can do the surgery for $300 plus blood tests pain medicine antibiotics and everything else which brought the total to $ 600. Although that's still a fair amount of money it was considerably cheaper than any place else I found. All the staff was very friendly and nice to work with. The building is not brand new nice and shiny and the location is not in high rent district, but there has to be a reason that they can keep their prices low. I plan to go back there again for my future Veterinary needs.

This place is not low priced and the service is terrible! I don't know where all these good reviews came from, but I was not impressed. If you love your pets, I would recommend you go elsewhere. The bill was $262 for the two dogs and all I wanted was heartworm pills. One dog had a rash and was biting and chewing. The vet wouldn't even touch him. I was charged $95 for a wellness check and he didn't touch the one dog. To the owner. The vet didn't even examine either dog. I had no problem with any protocol that needed to be done. The vet looked in the one dogs ears, that's a 40dollar examine

Been taking all my pets to this place because it’s suppose to be low cost and unfortunately can’t afford a better place, the office is low cost so it’s a filthy old cinder block home in a bad part of town but that is what you get when you can’t afford something better, they charge $50 dollars deposit for your appointment and I made a human error and put the wrong day on my calendar and missed the appointment, I called early the following day in the morning when I realized my mistake, THEY REQUESTED $50 deposit AGAIN!!!!! if I wanted to reschedule, I BEGGED THEM TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION since I have NO MONEY and I am on a fix income and I couldn’t afford to make another appointment and my dog needed treatment, they have NO COMPASSION, I wanted to talk to the office manager but all the receptionists refused saying she was busy, my husband heard me on the phone that I was upset CRYING and he called them back and finally the office manager that was NOT available answer the phone and told my husband that we were not getting a refund and to take all our pets off their clinic, I WILL CONTINUE TO DEMAND MY REFUND! They are THIEVES!!! All these WOMEN -AMANDA, CHICHI, ELI THIEVES!!! fighting with a person that is on a very low income budget for $50 dollars they are HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS!! THIEVES!!!!!! I hope the $50 dollars they stole from me is at least used on the pets, what comes around goes around THIEVES!!!!!

I LOVE this place and the caring people who work there! I have 7 dogs and I couldn’t have rescued that many without this place because they keep their prices low. The service is just as good as any other Vet office (maybe better) even tho it is low cost!

We love this place. The staff is friendly and the rates are very affordable. Many friends and neighbors bring their dogs here, too. It’s not a super fancy place like others in the area, but I like that because I know the staff cares deeply for my animals and always give them the very best care. Sometimes they run late but just plan your schedule accordingly. And if you aren’t able to wait, they have allowed us to drop off our dogs in the morning and come back in the afternoon to pick them up. They have given both our puppies superior care and I trust the doctors and vet technicians. To sum it up, I would say YGAF gives Excellent Care at Very Affordable Prices.

Call today to get three of my dogs vaccinated and they tell me that I had to have a $45 fee per dog to make the appointment. I’ve never seen this place this bad before ever and only thing that they wanna do is to sell you things That you don’t need

The best way I can describe this place is “tell me you hate your job without telling me you hate your job.” I just had the worst experience despite all the promising reviews from everyone else. The vet visit lasted all of 30 seconds with the vet never speaking a single word to me. Not even a formal introduction. I don’t even know his name so I can’t even call him out. He could not care less about my concerns regarding my puppy’s scooting issues or sneezing or the other concerns I had. He never even stood up once. I knew he was done with my puppy when he sat with his hands crossed over the table and did not seem interested in anything I said. It was a waste of $45. It wasn’t even worth it. I don’t know why he is even a vet. He couldn’t care less about his job and he’s not afraid to show it. Never coming here again.

Took my Cali dog for a breathing problem, rapid heart beat. They were absolutely amazing. Took x rays, blood test, and diagnosed my dog within an hour of walking in the door. Staff is on the ball, and so friendly. Thank you so much.Cali is doing better already .
