Sooo I may be bias for writing this since this is the only vet my husband and I have been to since moving down here from Delaware but boy did we hit the jackpot! I love everyone in this vet , they are so nice, so helpful , so understanding and the ladies at the front desk are phenomenal ! I was talking to them about my high anxiety cat when dropping my other two off for surgery and I was super anxious and nervous but they made me feel so happy and reassured plus that whole day they kept me updated on my cats status and health. I felt so understood and heard. This veterinarian clinic cares about your animals not just the money they are amazing people, if you’re trying to find a vet please stop looking and go here ! Plus they have a cool bird that talks to you when you’re in the waiting room !

A really good experience for the first visit. We were traveling cross country and had to find a temporary event for one visit to get a fecal sample. They got her set up with an appointment same day and we're very happy to stay and answer all my questions. They did the sample in house and gave me the results 20 minutes later! After getting the results back we chatted for a little longer about some issues we were having and got some great advice. I would be happy to bring my pup back here anytime

Went to this vet and had my cat spaded here. After a couple of weeks, my cat was sick, so I took her back to check out. I thought maybe her spaying told us no hair balls meds were given after she finished meds she was sick again. So after 500 dollars and meds, my cat was still sick. This time, she was chronic. Took her to another vet. Somehow, she contracted cat parvo. So tonight, she died and had to have her cremated. A wopping bill of 1500.00 and a dead cat We have cats, but no parvo here. I am now wondering where she was exposed???? I have learned my lesson never again will I be going to this vet.

My one-year-old Yorkie, Milo developed some gray mucus in his eyes. I called my vet and explained his situation, so they asked me to wash his eyes and to keep checking his eyes often, and if the mucus didn't go away, we were to bring him in. The problem was we were leaving Atlanta for a little vacation in Destin. We arrived in Destin and after a few days the mucus was still coming back, so I called three or four vets, but they were all booked except for the Emerald Coast Animal Hospital. I was able to get Milo in and they examined him and found out he had a bacteria infection called conjunctivitis. They prescribed a few prescriptions and he is now back to normal and doing fine. I recommend Emerald Coast Animal Hospital to all who need their pets medical needs met.

I had an appointment today and was sold expired medication. Upon calling to resolve this issue I was told it wasn’t “technically” expired, it was still good for at least a year. After speaking with 3 different ppl I was finally told I could bring the one back and exchange it but the other one that I can’t read the manufacturer’s exp date on, I was told all the ones they have on their shelves are good through 2023. Its also their printed label that states it’s expired. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t update their own labels. If the label had not said it was expired I probably wouldn’t have checked for a manufacture exp date. My last time going here after being regulars for over a year. I will find my 5 dogs another vet. The sad thing is the meds I was given didn’t even need a prescription. I could have purchased in date products for 1/3 of the price from chewy. If this is your vet check your expiration dates before checking out.

Place is great they were really friendly and good with my puppy, the one thing that they forgot to finish talking with me about was the flea and tick prevention which was something I really wanted for my baby other than that I got his rabies shot and all is well with his health.

We have rescued 2 pups in the last year. Emerald Coast Animal Hospital works with the rescue that we utilized. Our pups had a rough start but EC was amazing and took excellent care of them. They are kind, informative, and patient. We kept them as our vet...even though it is an hour drive. Thank you so much EC for loving on Buggy and Rawley!

I have been going to them for about few years no they were really good the first two years but this passed year my fur baby got sick I took her in she was a drop off cause they had to run lads and stuff she was there for three days in those three days if it wasn't for me calling up there to see how she was I would haven't known n even after 2 trips that costed us 800 bill I had to rush her to the emergency vet, the dr is never in. Don't take you fur babies here.

Thankful we found ECAH and changed our vet! The staff is wonderful and super organized. Most importantly, they didn’t treat my large dog like he was overly aggressive which meant my dog is far-less anxious. We originally went to get a mass removed and the doctor was super thorough. Happy to have found them!

The veterinarian and technicians have been great to me and my pup. The front desk is much better when the office manager/owner is there. It’s comforting to see her making her rounds to ensure Staff is taking care of business.

Unfortunately, my experience at this veterinary office was quite disappointing. During my first and only visit in 2020, when we brought our new puppy for a checkup, the staff seemed ill-informed. Despite my wife informing them that the dog had already received its shots from the place we got it, and was up to date, the younger veterinarian insisted on administering additional shots. Upon returning home, our puppy started vomiting reddish black substance and experienced seizures within four hours. Alarmed, we rushed our dog back to the vet, but they were unable to determine the cause and advised us to seek help at an emergency vet clinic, as they were closing soon. Regrettably, our beloved pet passed away that night, leaving us with a hefty bill of $1500. I feel compelled to write this review, even after such a long time, as I believe it's important to inform others about our traumatic experience and prevent it from happening to anyone else.

It's rare to find a vet that's in it for the animals and not for the money. After going to other vets the wanted crazy amounts of money to help my dog. They told me she was gonna die and wouldn't make it thru the night! They said if i couldn't do the surgery i need to put her down. Yesterday i went into Emerald coast animal hospital to put my dog down. They got us into a room with candles lit and all. Then comes in the vet tech April. She took one look at Molly and said let me bring her to see the doctor. Then in walks an amazing man Dr. Culotta! He came in to inform me that Molly was not going to be put to sleep that day that he was gonna save her! He said if money was the only issue then he would lose money to save her life. This amazing man and his staff turned the worst day of my life into one of the greatest! There's no way to truly express how grateful I am to him and his staff for saving my Molly's life! Today i picked up Molly and took her home alive and well all because a Doctor cared more about the animal than money! My animals will never go anywhere else!!

By far the most compassionate doctors and staff I have ever met. They care from the bottom of their hearts for your fur babies. If you love your fur babies, bring them to Emerald Coast Animal Hospital you will never be able to find a Veterinarians office better than they are, I promise. Tanya ❤️

I love ecah, we have been coming to them for about 3 hrs now and we drive about 30 mins just to come to this vet. It’s well worth the drive in my opinion, they have amazing receptionists that are always kind and smiling. They always answer the phone or if they don’t they return their voicemails. I never have to wait more than 2 weeks for an appt and they have reasonable prices.I recommend them highly to all of my friends

My cat Kahleesi unexpectedly experienced a turning point in her health where she tremendously declined. ECAH took her in immediately on 3/9 with a required $500 deposit. Understandable. (Prior to visit, she was seen at Murphy's given 1 injection of kenalog and 1 injection of convenia and sent out.) Later on that day I was notified of an obstructed urinary tract & she would need a 3 day hospital stay and was quoted around $978. As a healthcare worker I understand how hospital stay can rack up the bill. Vet tech Shannon was amazing. She called me twice a day with updates. Receptionist (forgive me for forgetting your name) red-ish hair and bandana was verycompassionate and warm-hearted. I loved her. Over Kahleesi's stay she was diagnosed with diabetes from lab results. which extended her stay. Unfortunately the bill increased and wasn't aware until I picked her up. Questionable things from invoice without lab results. However, I was discounted for a stay and some on 3/13 but an additional charge for food on the same day. For the unexpected cost they allowed me to make a scheduled payment. Vet tech Chloe showed me how to inject insulin and test glucose. Vet tech Jenna explained discharged and advised me on my other kitty. As soon as I got home and let Kahleesi out of her kennel, she showed symptoms of what seemed like diabetic shock again. Her back legs went out and something was wrong. Her blood sugar was at 101 at discharge.... overall I do feel Kahleesi recieved exceptional care but the vet bill can break your financial /emotional well being. If you're considering ECAH just make sure you're prepared in the bank and recieve every single notification prior to charge. I've worked amongst Physicians and PAs - sometimes we can turn very clinical and business oriented during our practice. Thanks for taking care of my Kahleesi 💖

First off, I had gone to this vet when I got my new puppy to have her checked out as new pet parents do. Bella is a 2 yr old Shi-Chi and was in perfect health until she received her 2nd rabies shot on the 13th of April of this year. A few days later she became ill, diarrhea, vomiting lethargic, loss of appetite, swollen eyes, really had me worried. I called Emerald coast and they told me it would be a "drop off" and I had to put a deposit of 500.00 down for whatever treatment would be provided. I never got to meet or talk to the Doctor, was not permitted to go into the exam room and was told they would call me to discuss any issues if they found anything. When they did call the vet tech said it may be pancreatic in nature. When I started asking questions the tech would put me on hold until he went and spoke to the doctor. For each and every question I asked about her course of treatment the vet tech would always put me on hold to go ask the doctor. I don't know what they gave her, what treatment was given but I ended up paying close to 800.00. I gathered all my paperwork from day 1, she is still sick and have found another vet and was told to bring her in immediately. In the vet records Emerald Coast had the audacity to write in big, bold black notes that I was rude to the staff and Doctor. Good grief, they got me for 800.00 and I never saw or spoke with an actual Doctor.Needless to say this clinic is all about the Benjamin. So future pet parents beware!!!

We have taken our dogs to Emerald Coast Animal Hospital since we moved here in 2018. In May, we took our dog Gus in to get looked at. He had multiple issues that were discovered along the way. Unfortunatley he had to be put down. The staff and doctors at Emerald Coast Animal Hospital went above and beyond. They cared about Gus and made his final days special for him and as painless as possible for us. They made a terrible experience as good as it can get. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone that has pets. They even sent us flowers and that was the best highlight we could ask for. Thanks a bunch. Y'all were and are incredible. The kindness from the whole staff did not go unnoticed from us. Thanks again.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Used to be a customer for many years, before moving to Jacksonville. I as charged a $26.00 Walk in fee to look at my dog which had diarrhea. The first quote I was given was $500 plus, since they wanted to take X rays, next quote was $200 plus. I hope I don't have to go there again.

I brought my dog here when he had something wrong with his testicles. Turns out one of his testicles ruptured. They said he needed to be emergency neutered because he was going to start bleeding internally. An outrageous price they wanted. I told them we didn’t have that much and asked if we could make payments. They said “no” without hesitation without another option, they wanted all of it upfront. So I paid the initial visit fee and left. I went to Murphy Vet Hospital and they were a million times better and more personable. They remembered me from going with a family member who took her pets there. Those sorts of things matter when you’re looking for a place to CARE for your pets. Anyway, they they did it a lot cheaper and were so helpful and kind to my dog. Emerald Coast Animal Hospital does NOT CARE about your pets, from the staff members to the doctor. They don’t give you options, they don’t help you. They are all about money. The doctor here has no business being an pet doctor because he is not an ANIMAL PERSON, he is not compassionate. Don’t take your pet here if you are wanting someone to treat your pet as you do.

I had brought my two female cats in to be spayed at $200 for both of them. Well when I arrived at 4:00pm to pick up my fur children I was then informed that one of my babies had some kind of extra procedure done in order to do the fixing she was brought in originally for. Well this extra issue was $180 which I definitely didn't have on hand to pay but Mrs Susan who is with the APL she's the one who linked me to Emerald coast animal hospital via the Internet one week prior to this date, was called by the tech there and she graciously agreed to pay the $180 for me just wanted everyone to know how lucky they are if they happen to go through the APL to get their fur babies fixed.i should add tho that Emerald coast animal hospital didn't even try to contact me that day to ask if I would be able to have the $180 at the time of pick up which would have been nice and I could have made arrangements to handle it.but thank you Mrs Susan your amazing 5 stars for her and 3 stars for emerald coast animal hospital for lack of communication that day

I brought my little boy C3PO in because he had a very bad urinary blockage. The staff at Emerald Coast Animal Hospital has been absolutely incredible and you can feel the love they have for animals. I was worried I was gonna lose my little dude and they took amazing care of him and now he's back to his normal self. The doctor is such a great human being and I'm thankful to him and the staff for taking care of my kitty. I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend this office if your animal needs care. The kindness C3PO and I have recieved here is unlike any place I've been. Thank you so much to the staff!

Well, now I have heard everything! It's a little after 8:00 am Saturday morning and I have an emergency with my newly adopted kitten. My senior cat attacked her and injured her eye. Being the overprotective cat mom that I am, I called this clinic as they were the only ones open. I explained to the young lady who answered what the problem was. She told me to bring my new kitten in ASAP. She told me there is a $500.00 deposit for all drop offs. WHAT? The injury will not be that much in my opinion, but you can bet they will use all of the deposit. Shame on you! You're going to let my girl suffer because I don't have that amount?! Some reviewers stated that they are only in it for the money...they are correct.Believe me, I shall spread the word every where I go about your clinic.SHAME ON YOU!
