I have fought with Walgreens for over a year to have ALL my prescriptions to be refilled at this location. Previously i have used other walgreen locations but have moved here on the island and wanted them all to be filled here. I have gone to the other stores to make sure no more prescriptions would be filled there but here at this location. I was informed THREE seperate times that they have all been switched to this location only to fine out when i went to pick them up they were still at another location. I have even had Walgreens call me and have me set up automatic refills at this location and i specifically told them on the phone to make sure all were refilled here. I again went this week to pickup my refill only to find out that some were still at another location. NEEDLESS to say i had been brought to my boiling point. I walked out and as i walked away, they said to you want this prescription we have ready? I didn’t even turn around and said NOPE! And i kept walking. I have now moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy and will hopefully not have to deal with this aggravation again!

Charley is always nice and friendly. My only complaint is they don't open at 6:30 AM. This way I can get my supplies before work like I used to.

This is my favorite Walgreens and my local Walgreens. Charlie and Shelly up front are super friendly and always helpful. Paul and Luann in the Pharmacy are very nice. The Lab is efficient. However, I scheduled an appointment online for my vaccines in the evening having been told in the past that it would be easiest on the staff at the pharmacy at that time when things are quieter. When I arrived I was told by the lady behind the counter that they were far too busy and it was best to come around 9am and 5PM and just walk in - no appointment necessary. I had done that in past years before appointments could be made online and it was always a hassle for the pharmacist to drop everything to give me the injection. This evening, all customers had been to helped and there were no other customers at the pharmacy at my appointment time. I can understand that there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes. What I don’t understand why they have appointments that can be scheduled online in the evenings. I decided to make my appointments for vaccines at CVS where they are better staffed. I do feel badly for the pharmacy here at Walgreens because they are often understaffed.

David the cashier had great customer service!! Very attentive, smiled called my wife by her first name when he told us how many points we had. Store was clean, bright and had nice wide aisles. Store was quite as it was not season so it will probably be a lot busier with longer waiting in winter. Pretty good tourist section. Pricing seemed the same as non tourist Walgreens locations. I have been to one in Wisconsin Dells that had higher prices because of tourists. Not sure if pricing would be higher here in winters.

Blatantly lied to by pharmacy.Was told on a called in prescription "This will be filled in Orlando and ready tomorrow" it wasn't ready 2nd day... Then I was told "Oh it will be available the following day, again" 2 days since being called in... Then they offered to refill it as I'm standing there saying this is unacceptable.I won't set foot in another Walgreens.

The worst service that ever received in my life from the Farmacy team. They told me that they had sent my baby's antibiotic prescription to cvs and it was not true. the pharmacist is a lousy professional.

I arrived at the Walgreens pharmacy at 1100 North Collier Blvd in Marco Island FL at about 2:05 PM on Wed, 30 Sept 2020. Please note that I was the only person in the entire pharmacy waiting area when I arrived and was the only person there for about the next 10-15 minutes also!!!When I arrived at the pharmacy window, I was greeted by a young lady that waited on me and I told her that I needed a flu shot. She took my insurance information and then I sat down. Again, there were NO patients waiting in the pharmacy area other than me. After about 10 minutes I went to the window to see what the delay was and I was told that the pharmacist was on the phone. A bit later (after having been there now for about 23 minutes) I again went to the window and no one was there to help me. About 2 minutes later (I had now been there about 25 minutes) the lady walked to the counter with my paperwork and asked me to sign it. I said "if I sign this, how much longer do I have to wait for the shot" at which point I was told "the pharmacist still has to prepare the shot". My response was "oh really"??? At this point I asked the lady "who in their right mind comes to a Walgreens and waits 30 minutes for a flu shot to be administered?? People come to Walgreens to get a quick flu shot and then be on their way and instead, after 25 minutes, no shot had been administered even though at this point I was again, THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE WAITING AREA!!From about the 10 to 23 minute point, two other people did approach the pharmacy window after me however one only asked a question and then left and the other said she came for a flu shot but left after I told her I had been waiting 20 minutes for my shot! So basically, for the entire 25 minutes I was there, there was no one else there (except me) who was actually waiting for service. And with this "minimal-to-zero" patient waiting load the pharmacist was unable to administer a flu shot over a 25 minute time period! I ask you: What's wrong with this picture?????I left in disgust a minute later. On my way out I spoke to a manager who met me up in the photo department. He also seemed indifferent to my problem and never even offered or bothered to take me back to the pharmacy to discuss my concern! You would at least think "a manager" would have said "come on let's go talk to the pharmacist and see if we can get this straightened out" but instead he just stood there and told me that "they've had problems like this before" and that I should go to the Walgreens website and complain. Really??? He's "a manager" and I'm complaining to him right there at that very moment, and instead of solving the problem (like a manager should) he asks me instead to go to the Walgreens website and complain! Again, what's wrong with this picture???? Hey, a novel idea: the manager actually does his job and HE goes to the pharmacy and tries to straighten out THE CUSTOMERS complaint! But he didn't do it.So there you have it....modern medicine at Walgreens....bureaucracy to the hilt......... where I couldn't get a simple flu shot administered over a 25 minute time frame EVEN THOUGH I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WAITING AREA......... INEPT OPERATION......

The pharmacy is completely overwhelmed. Waiting for an appointment for simple flu shot. Scheduled appointment and we are sitting here for an hour. People showing up with the wrong prescriptions. Looks frightening.

Terrible pharmacy!! This is my first review ever but had to leave one. Gentleman behind pharmacy was extremely rude just asking to make vaccine appointment. Then after making an appointment two days later we came in only to have another terrible experience. Waited 30 mins and they refused to help as understaffed and extremely rude again telling us we shouldn’t have come in today even though we had appointment. Finally they stated all we care about is testing and vaccine not what we came for … even though we were there for vaccine. We left as not comfortable getting it here.

I had my physician send a NEW prescription to this Walgreens. Arrived 4 hours later to pick up. After a 20 minute wait in the drive-through, I asked for my prescription. I was told to come back in 3 days because I was not yet eligible for an insurance paid refill. I told the clerk that this was a NEW prescription and not a refill! After talking to the pharmacist she came back and said it was approved by insurance. Then she asked me to come back in an hour and a half to pick it up . I said NO, I would wait for it. Instead of giving priority to a waiting customer, the pharmacist kept filling orders for the shelf. After hovering for a half hour and asking several times, I finally got my order. PEOPLE AT THIS WALGREENS DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS !!!! Apparently they think the customers should be at their beck and call!!! Where is Walgreens management?!?!?

Every time I have to get a prescription filled here is an enraging nightmare of a process and I basically have to pull teeth and get to the point of anger before anything is done. I understand they're currently short staffed (Dec 2021) but this has been happening for years prior to COVID as well so clearly Walgreens pharmacy system is not as efficient as it should be. I've run out of medications multiple times because they've failed to fill them on time which directly puts my own health at risk. Don't ever have to return anything either because they won't give your money back but instead give you "store credit" even when you produce the reciept and you'll be lucky if you even get the full refund in store credit. **I believe most if not all the issues I've experienced has more to do with Walgreens policies as a corporation rather than the staff itself.**

I didn't have the negative review others have had, but I also didn't need any human services other than checking out, I knew what I needed and was in/out in about 5 minutes, there was a line of about 15 people that moved very quickly. But again, no passport photo, no prescription filling, so I cannot speak to that, just a normally stocked beach Walgreens and fairly quick checkout, I'm happy with that.

They seem to have hired more people and sped up the line. An obvious problem at all drug stores. They actively want customers to fill out a survey ATM, but I review not survey... Overall best part about this Walgreens is it is close to rose Marina and a dingy dock for cruisers and live aboards, or be really sneaky and order some food at the Speak Easy and it's in the same parking lot to pick up what you need (speak easy has boat access for customers).

Completely agree that pharmacy staff are unconcerned about customer service. We're all just waiting in lines to ruin their day. We've repeatedly called corporate HQ in Deerfield, IL, basically to vent. Nothing seems to change.

Most of the staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful! However the pharmacy consistently gives troubles for prescriptions and always has to verify, despite the fact that I've taken the same med for over ten years. Very frustrating and inconvenient that I have to travel to Naples each month now.

Brianna in the pharmacy is 5 star customer service.I've been paying $165 for a 3 month prescription ... Brianna in 2 minutes and a couple keys strokes managed to score the same prescription for ... $5.00 ... for the same 3 month supply.Thanks Brianna

Passport photos? Forget it. Guy couldn't figure out the machine or was just lazy. Pharmacy is always crowded, the staff are overworked and it's hard to get any help in this store. Go to CVS.
