Went last week on our vacation to Marco. Was surprised when we arrived and no one was waiting outside. In the past usually several minute wait this time of day. Went in and the restaurant was less than half full. What is going on??? Then I saw the menu and the prices. Twenty dollars for hash and eggs, $16 for bacon and eggs! Outrageous! The server told us the new owners raised the prices. We were looking at over $50 with drinks and tip. The food used to be good here. I imagine it still is, but there are other places nearby that offer good food for MUCH less. Plus there is a sign on the door that says "3% discount for cash" . Isn't that another way of saying we're penalizing you 3% for credit? We left and went to Stonewalls. Really good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Plus you don't get penalized for using credit

I came here for breakfast with a group of 3 on a Saturday morning. We got there at 10:30am and that seemed to be a sweet spot since there wasn't a line going out the door! We grabbed a seat inside and were greeted by the owner and our waitress right away. There are so many options on the breakfast menu! I ordered an egg white omelet and goodness was it big. The other meals at the table were also pretty large, and all tasty. I'd say the price is a little high, but I do recognize that Marco Island is more expensive in general. Definitely delicious, I'd recommend a stop in!

We were told 20 minutes to our table of 5 seated. And ended up waiting 40. We went in and asked how much longer at one point and they told us a table of 9 that came after us took our table. Ok whatever, we heard the food was good so we waited. We ordered our food and proceeded to wait around an hour, FOR BREAKFAST FOOD! When our food came out it just looked like the most boring, generic breakfast food we have ever had. Food was ok. We won’t be returning. We would have been better off just waiting at Doreen’s Cup of Joe to get a seat.

We woke up craving French Toast and Eggs Benedict and we found Red Roosters off a Google search. Al and the staff were truly amazing and welcoming. This is definitely a place we'll come back to frequent when we come back down to Marco Island. 👌👌

We decided to go off the main drag and look for a local place that doesn't get all the tourists dollars and spend our money there. Boy, are we glad we did!! We were iffy when we got there because it sits in the middle of a strip mall although it does have ample outdoor seating. We took an outside table and our waitress arrived quickly, I wish I would've gotten her name, she was a ray of sunshine 🙂 I ordered the country skillet which consisted of eggs, bacon, potatoes, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese. It also came with toast. My friend went ala carte with toast, hash browns and bacon. The food arrived fairly quickly, it was hot, ingredients fresh and my skillet was phenomenal!!!The toast is made from bread homemade there, incredibly tasty!!Red Rooster is definitely worth taking a couple turns off the beaten path. Be adventurous and spread those tourists dollars to local places not on the main drag. Red Rooster was a pleasant surprise and the best breakfast we had on the island!!!

Very cute breakfast/lunch eatery adorned with roosters. They had a very clean restaurant with places to sit inside and out. I ordered the Island Blue Burger and added a fried egg. They don't lie about a half-pound patty and it was thick and juicy. The blue cheese and egg were also perfect. The cook did miss the specified medium temp and the burger had no pink in it.Entrees: (1) Island Blue (2) Corned Beef HashAtmosphere/Decor: Cute theme, clean restaurant plenty of space between tablesServer Attentiveness: Friendly and quickFood Wait: Average.Cost/Value: $13/entree. Bit high for egg dishes/fair on burgers.

OMG! Talk about delicious! Best benedicts by far. The family and I were on a little staycation in Marco Island (live in Ft Myers), woke up Saturday craving an egg benedict and french toast. Man, oh man! Not only was the food incredible, the owner Al was so friendly and accommodating! He sat with us and mingled and told us some great beaches to check out. We ended up with the lobster benedict, original benedict and french toast combo. The best bennies I've ever put in my mouth. Our taste buds exploded. Our server was the sweetest thing too. We WILL be back.

The Red Rooster exceeded my expectations. I was staying down in Marco with a large group of family/friends. A few of us were up early and decided to scope out the area for breakfast (specifically, a great benedict). I'm not typically a breakfast person, but if I am eating breakfast somewhere, I'm always getting a benny. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by the owner, Al. He was friendly, attentive, and made it his priority to make sure that we were well taken care of. He assured me that my lobster benedict would be fantastic and he did not disappoint. Al personally brought out my benedict when it was ready. It was everything I was looking for, and so much more.At the end of our meal, I noticed that the restaurant had these cute, hand-painted rooster shot glasses scattered throughout in various places. I made a comment to Al about how I'd love to take one home with me. Sure enough, Al walked over, picked one out, and brought it to me. I left The Red Rooster with a fully belly, an adorable shot glass, and a happy heart.I would 100% recommend this establishment to anyone in the Marco Island area and will definitely be returning the next time I am there.
