We boarded our Buddy at Critter Cafe and had a great experience! He is about 20 lbs and does not like being away from home. The staff held him upon arrival to make sure he was comfortable. Everything about the experience would make us want to go back. Thank you for taking good care of our baby!

We’ve been great customers and always very happy with the services here, until now - we live on the island and now have been calling for over a month and can’t even get a call back. The tourists and snowbirds are taking priority which is sad when the locals keep the lights on all summer. A courtesy call is at minimum expected.

Contacted them when I knew we were going to be staying on MI with our dog who is on a raw diet by Answers. Nancy the owner called and ordered it and emailed me before I left to know it was in. I dropped in before we checked in our house we rented. I had asked if they Groom and she said yes. They were able to get my dog in the next day! I would highly recommend this pet boutique to everyone I know who has pets. 5*

Our dog was injured. We boarded our Papillon for a week and scheduled him for a bath and nail grooming on the day he was scheduled to be picked up. We were told he would be ready by 10am. We arrived shortly after 10 and were told that our dog was still being groomed, so we waited. When he came out, they told us that he would not allow them to cut his nails so they didn’t. This was the first time we have ever heard this. This was the worst grooming job we had ever seen. His hair looked as if he had been dried quickly in high heat. We noticed immediately that he was in pain with tears in his eyes. Then upon arriving home we noticed that our dog kept licking an area that was appeared to be burned severely. We surmise that they forgot to groom him and then hurriedly bathed and dried him while we waited. We spoke with Critter Cafe and they insisted that they do not use a heating element when drying after a bath. We have boarded our dog numerous times in the past in Ohio and this type of thing has never happened. We do not feel that this is a safe place for our dog and we will never return.

Current groomer cut my dogs nails even though I said not to, he had nails done at vet last week, no need to do. Now, he has been bleeding for three days, in pain, four paws. Won't go back. Miss Trish. I love the Critter Cafe!! Ashley always does a stellar grooming of Freya, our toy poodle. Staff is very friendly and accompanying. You won't be disappointed!

Took our new puppy there for her first trimming and it went well. Provided photos if what we were looking for and groomer was very receptive and kind to her when she took her in. I was there a little early and dog was ready exactly when promised which was important to me that she wasn't there longer than necessary. Very pleased .

I've been coming to Critter Cafe for 8 years for grooming. They are wonderful. Trisha does a great job and our standard poodle always looks beautiful. The staff are very friendly and easy to deal with. I recommend them highly.

I recently had my dog groomed. I had company in town and then went out of town for four days only to realize that the groomer had done a poor job. I showed her photos of my dog after prior groomings and told her I wanted it cut short. I called to bring her in to fix it and they never mentioned that I would need to pay again to have her fixed. The grooming was uneven all over and she now looks like she needs another grooming. I normally groom her every 6 to 7 weeks. She will now need a grooming after 2 weeks.Be wary of how your dog is groomed! Check them over while at the store to make sure they followed your instructions!

Very satisfied, professional, friendly, really love the animals. I brought my 10 month old cocker spaniel for boarding. They sent me picture and video updates which was very nice. She was happy and healthy when I picked her up. I recommend Critter Cafe for boarding

This facility is EXCELLENT!! They provide a safe, clean, fun and “laid-back” experience for dogs. Our 10 year old Lab was happy, excited, well-rested and very affectionate with all the staff. Service is friendly and professional, and fees are entirely reasonable. If I could give MORE than 5 stars, I would. Feel secure and comfortable dropping off your best friend here, for day care or boarding.

We love Tiffany. She does an amazing job with our dog who is a handful. Every time we take him we get the feeling she really loves him. It’s refreshing to do business with someone who enjoys their job. The rest of the staff have always been nice and personable as well.

My Ryder loves Doggy Day Care. On days I don't take him is whines and looks so said when I leave. Everyone at Critter Cafe takes wonderful care of my baby. Trish is the best groomer he has had. She is very loving to all her little and big clients. Lisa Howard (Owner) has made a wonderful place (Home) for all her clients. I highly recommend that you take your Dog, the special member of you Family to Critter Cafe. I thank you all for making Ryder always feel so welcome. I love you all.

I take my dog there to get his nails clipped. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The store is fully stocked with a lot of pet needs and wants.The groomer does a great job and handles my dog so well, even on his less cooperative days! I highly recommend Critter Cafe.

We had a horrible experience with Critter Cafe yesterday. We had an appointment with Tiffany, they called us and told us Tiffany was ill and would be out for the week. They told me a new groomer would be doing her. I said OK. My husband brought her at 8:45, By 130 she still was not done. I called, they told me the groomer did not show up so they had to call in another groomer she didn’t arrive until 1030. I asked if Tiffany left knowing that Paula and Ashley left they told me yes, So therefore they lied to me. I was not happy with the grooming job so therefore I will not be returning to Critter Cafe.

Tiffany did an AMAZING job grooming my wheaten terrier. She is so knowledgeable and recommended great products to use on my pup to keep her hair snarl-free and soft. Highly recommend using Tiffany for grooming, she’s amazing!

The training provided to our golden retriever pup has been first class. The teacher is patient with the highest level of expertise. Our dog improves after every session. We are getting a much better dog out of this as well as learning how dogs think. Highly recommend Critter Cafe for the best of care and training for your loved dog. Can't say thank you enough to our trainer and Critter Cafe.

Tiffany did an amazing job with our Portuguese Water Dog. He was a challenge because we waited too long to get him groomed, won't do that again! She tok her time with him and he has never looked so good. Thank you to Tiffany and the front desk employee who was also very helpful!

Trish has been doing our dog grooming for 5 years. She is good at the washing and cutting and a joy to work with. Our new dog, who has difficult hair to manage and who is not a big fan of brushing, loves her.

I brought my small dog here for the first time. she hates being left alone and is terrified of crates. I specifically told the staff, as well as wrote on my information sheet this same information. when I picked her up they said she didn't get along with the other dogs and so they crated her! She napped when she got home then was limping. the next day she wouldn't even walk on her leg. The vet said she sprained her leg, probably trying to scratch her way out of the kennel/crate. Critter cafe took no responsibility, said she was never around any other dogs. I called twice and never received a call back from the owner/manager if they would reimburse me for her $160 vet bill. 5 days later and she's still limping.

Took my sheepadoodle puppy there for his first grooming. Ashley was awesome! She listened and gave him the look we were wanting. Everyone there is friendly and attentive. The shop has some really cute things as well.

Worst grooming our dog has had, missed clumps, nails not trimmed, etc... and its a 9lb multipoo, so not like its a large dog. Found someone else. Would like to leave 0 stars.

I know Rigby my dog is always in good hands, he has special needs and medications that restricts him from playing with the other dogs.. the staff goes above and beyond to make sure he gets the attention and love each and every day that he is with them. Grooming is also very well done -- all around great establishment.

I have a large Golden Retriever that I like cut a certain way. Ashley, my dog's groomer, is very accommodating. He just had a grooming visit today and he looks great! I would recommend.

The very first time we left our "babies" there in Oct 2018, we were sooo very impressed. One of our babies had bladder surgery 2 years prior (we did not bother to mention that Critter Cafe). On the second day there, we received a call from Critter Cafe informing us that one of our babies was peeing blood. We rushed over there and we were given the complete details, so we took her to the vet down the street after consulting with her vet back home. She was treated for a slight UTI and was great after two days. What REALLY IMPRESSED us was this: What pet hotel/daycare pays that close attention to pets' urine when they are taken out to potty when they ha e NO idea about her bladder issue. I still cannot stop speaking about the attention and care given to our "babies". Critter Cafe will ALWAYS have our business. Thanks so much to the staff for taken such wonderful care of our babies❤❤❤
