I also wish I could give zero stars. The ladies that work there are very rude. I bought bird toys and the clips broke on the first try. I inquired about the baby macaw out of curiosity only and she told me to learn to take care of my bird before I ask about any of her birds. They will never have my business again

Wish I could give 0 stars we go in this pet shop weekly and we love supporting small businesses but we will never return to this pet store because the lady with the glasses that works there is so incredibly rude and for no reason we asked for 3 dozen crickets and we asked if we could get them agees seperatly for feeding purposes and she had the nerve to say " we do not like doing that becauwe it cost us money in bags and runner bands and just because you can't count to twelve" I mean who even says something like that to a customer. And just FYI it is no different than 3 different people coming in and buying a dozen at a time. But we will not be back and we do not recommend going because most of the ladies that work there are so unfriendly

One of my favorite local places to visit. Lots of great pet products! The staff are the kindest! The big plus is having the ability to interact with the pets yourself. A must for bird lover's 😍

The bird cages weren't clean. The water bowls had poop in them. Look like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Need more attention

Thank you so much for giving us our precious little bird! He is so good and well behaved. Loves being around the kids. He is a wonderful addition to our family! You guys were so helpful and gave us so much information. We drove with “Blue” for 14 hours all the way from Marathon, FL to Johnson City, TN without any problems. He loved the drive and definitely loves his new home in the mountains of TN. Thank you so much - Khan family!

They carry all sorts of products and animal foods. We got a bag of dog food and had an experience that made my history books: we got to meet a parrot for the first time! Parrots are amazing creatures! So smart and sweet! I kinda want one now! It’s obvious that they are very well taken care of by a true bird lover!They also were very professional and helpful when I needed help finding a particular brand of dog food.

My daughter and I went to this store to purchase bird that talks. I asked one old woman if the birds talk, she said i dont know, ask her! so i asked the other old lady behind the counter about certain birds there and she made us feel like we were an inconvenience. So we left! I wouldn't buy anything from someone talking that snotty to my!

very rude ladies they have absolutely no respect when we walked in the baby cockatiels were screaming and when I ask why they were screaming she said “because they’re hungry” in a rude tone and continued to let them scream and she proceeded to yell at me from across the store embarrassing me infront of everyone telling me not to touch the bird like I understand it’s okay that I can’t touch them but if I didn’t know why couldn’t she have told me in a nicer way there was also this time this baby cockatoo climbed up my arm and she rudely told me to not carry him when he himself did it they also just give you dirty looks. I would never recommend, I don’t know how they haven’t gone out of business but they don’t deserve this job. I would rate it 0 if I could

I went in with my 4 month old mini daschound 3.6 lbs in my arms when the bi..ch behind the counter came unglued saying that my dog was going to hurt or kill one of the birds.This animal hater should not be working in a public forum a pet shop is not some place this animal hater should be. I walked out and promised never to return. I can't believe that this store will make it very long with someone as hateful as this person working. The store was not very clean and the birds were in rough shape. There is a nice pet shop in Key West

The lady at the counter was extremely mean and nasty! As a customer walked by the new baby white bird it jumped up onto her arm and the sales lady ran over and yelled at the customer not to pick up the bird and that they're trying to teach it manners but the lady didn't pick it up it just jumped up onto her arm. The poor customer was so embarrassed she ran out of the store. I felt so bad for the customer as did all the other people standing around. What a shame.

So don’t go in on lunch break! 2 ladies behind the counter basically sighed when we went to the register. I felt really bad trying to buy something from them, interrupting her quesadilla lunch and Minecraft! Went in knowing what to expect from other reviews but expected different I guess. Stinks this is the only pet store local to us! We did think we seen dog the bounty hunter, which was the coolest part!

THEY CUT HIS TOE OPEN AND SNAPPED HIS TOE IN HALF! THEN THEY DOWNPLAYED THE HOW SERIOUSLY THEY MESSED UP AND INJURED MY BIRD! Sandy is meaner than a rattlesnake. DONT TRUST SANDY WITH YOUR PETS! Only time I see one of them smile is when she was mean to customers. Avoid at all costs!

Been in here a couple times before and experienced friendly and helpful customer service. Sadly not today😞. Granted I came in as the store was first opening and the lady at the counter was counting her drawer. I waited a moment to obtain eye contact to be met with a hard stare and a “I have no idea what you’re talking about “ response when asking for dog wart removal product or where I could locate it. Claimed to be the owner and working in the store for 30 years and said I didn’t need to buy anything for that. I said well that was an interesting response from a business owner and she retorted rudely again! Was hoping to start buying quality dog food there ,but now I will never step in there again after the absolute rudeness that came from the owner of the business. Maybe her staff can help her more with how to greet a local long term paying customer. Went home and ordered it online in less time than it took for her to ruin my day!

Great place in the keys to find a wide variety of bird toys, food, and cages. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and outgoing. Their parrots are handled constantly, making them much more tame and friendly than other stores. I would highly recommend checking them out!

We are tourist. Stopped by this shop and as soon as we walked in we went to look at some of the birds and the lady working says “you no that bird cost $3,000 dollars don’t you” umm like maybe I have 30,000 or more to spend. Very rude and judge mental person. Needless to say they did not make a sell 🤷‍♀️ Customer service is very important. We just walked out after feeling like she thought I guess we didn’t have money to spend!! Very rude

As a year-round resident, this store has provided more than enough resources to keep my frog nice and healthy. Last night, I went and picked up a brand new kitten who is the sweetest thing in the world. Could not recommend enough!
