Had pictures done up. Went back when they said they would be ready. The woman explained she was backed up with orders from the day before, so I decided I would come back. I live 27 minutes away, so I decided to call and check before driving over. The guy that answered the phone I had a hard time understanding, but asked if the pictures were ready, and explained the lady had been backed up. He said they were ready. He hadn't even asked my information, so I asked if he would check for my name because I lived 30min away. He said hold on, and then hung up on me. You guys can keep the photos.

I feel one star is being way too generous, pretty much some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing.. called about product availability, and the guy that I spoke to probably couldn’t tell you what the weather was outside if he was standing right in the middle of it.. Didn’t have the answer so we hung up on me twice then when I called back yet again he didn’t have the answer he said he was going to get a manager and hung up a third time.. total trash experience..

If the Pharmacist and tech were any slower or more incompetent, customers would start to die waiting in line. Watching the staff wander around for 20 minutes looking for prescriptions then prioritize drive up customers that arrived after people waiting inside. I couldn’t do it. Called and had the prescription moved rather than reward these bumbling idiots.

Awful customer service. Unfortunately, the woman at this business likes to make negative comments about Americans in Spanish and assume I can't understand them. Training definitely should be done on how to treat customers and what should be said in public.

Dec. 9 about 2:30 I went to send money western union which I have done many times. I waited in line. When I get to the register she tells me I can only SEND it at the last register. I told her I was sending not receiving. The girl at the last register agreed. So I had to wait while 4 people behind me get helped. This has happened before. It's only when your receiving that you have to use the last register. I work hard on my feet and I'm older and it hurts my back to stand still due to a back problem. Very frustrating. Get it together girls.

This walgreens was always run well with Jonah as the manager. Ellie the manager on duty tonight was absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional person I've dealt with in a long time. I went down an aisle to buy a card and she looked at me and said ma'am you can't come down here the floor is wet its blocked off. I said no its not blocked off, i came down the aisle from the other side and there was no block whatsoever. I asked her to look, she then argued with me, i said how do i buy a card? She then said i can refuse you service, I said but its not blocked!! And then i said i was done talking about it. She yelled at me YOUR SERVICE IS REFUSED. I have lived here for 28 years and have never dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional! We just came in for a bday card and a gift card for a 6 year old. I will be contacting corporate with complaints about this power hungry nasty person who was obviously looking for a fight. Question, why were they mopping the floors at 10:15 at night? And telling people they couldn't go down aisles to purchase things? Should this not be done after the store closes at 11 pm so they don't lose money?? Because they lost 60 from us and who knows how much more from others.

Requested a refill via website on the 28th day of my prescription. Didn't get filled. Called on Sunday (30th day) and the pharmacy was closed?!? Now, on Monday, I was on hold for 44 minutes and then they dropped my call. Now I'm on hold again, I'm out of pills and I'm mad!!! UPDATE: I got cut off again after another 40 minutes on hold. Went to the store and they had been closed for three days (staffing issue?) and were scrambling to catch up. So, 84 minutes on hold and two trips to town (30 miles) and I got my refill...

Liquor store tried to pull a fast one me by trying to overcharge me. One price displayed, another one charged at register. Happened 2 times out if 4 visits. Definitely not a coincidence. Nasty looks when complaining about it. No apologies, definitely doing it all the time.

DON’T GO HERE IF YOU WANT CASH BACK and don’t want to spend over $20! This is only about trying to get cash-back. They will only do it on over $20 purchases. Other than this I have no opinions. I’m a customer ofWalgreens in my own neck of the woods.

The pharmacy …. Is one of the few pharmacies in town, but it’s the oldest one. I went to the hospital on Saturday afternoon because I was feeling very sick, was discharged with 3 prescriptions that I requested to be send to this location because it been my pharmacy since I moved to town 22 years ago. To my surprise they close the pharmacy at 5pm on Saturday and open at 10am on Sunday, that will be 17 hours without filling a prescription due to hours of operation. When I got to the window at 10:05 am.. the lady told me they just opened and I needed to come back on 30 min. I went back an hour later and to my surprise again they could only filled two out or the three because they were out of stock on the most important one and that they will not get it until next Tuesday. Are you kidding me???? If I went to the emergency room is because I could not wait another hour without treatment. It’s a common thing in this pharmacy to be out of stock on medication…had happened before with my mothers refills. It’s ridiculous that we can only get sick Tuesday - Friday because the pharmacy is either closed or out of stock on medication. The only reason I gave it two star is because they referred my prescription to Publix and they are fully stocked and open. From now on I will use Publix pharmacy from the beginning and will also request transfer of all my mothers medication. I don’t understand if we are on an island with thousands of people that might need prescription for serious illness Why they don’t stock up??? Why Publix has it and they don’t ???? Is is poor management and ordering ???? They are not doing us a favor, their business is sell medication so people can feel better. Marathon is part of the United States of America where we can find anything we need at any time. I think corporate needs to get involved and review what’s really going on there because I’m sure I’m not the only unhappy customer.

Worst pharmacy experience. I am a longtime Walgreens customer at multiple other locations and thoroughly have enjoyed my experiences there. I needed an important medication transferred to this pharmacy and had two staff members be extremely rude. I called on Tuesday evening never heard anything and didn’t see anything being processed on my account after I was told 24 hours. Called back early Thursday morning and was rudely told they just couldn’t get ahold on the transferring pharmacy, but they would work on it (I was polite the entire time) I’m a Physician Assistant and know what’s it’s like to be in healthcare. They never called back to let me know anything so 5 days without being able to process my medication and no return call. Meanwhile my Walgreens back home has already updated me TWICE sent I sent them a request and is staying diligent. Disgusting

I was traveling and in need of a prescription refill. No fault of Walgreens, but my prescription was not filled out correctly. It looked as if I was going to go without for my entire stay on Marathon. That is not a good thing, and I was seriously stressed. The pharm tech, I'm sorry I don't remember your name, helped me as much as possible, but there was nothing that she could do that evening. I returned the next day, and the pharmacist Kendall was already informed of my situation. Through a lot of patience by all, communication was made with my Dr. and I was thankful to have their help to enjoy my stay with a little more peace than at the onset.Kendall, then took my call after returning to Colorado to help clear the initial mistake and was very helpful and kind in a very stressful time for all of us.Thank you so much, I'm sorry to say that MANY Walgreen's experiences are NOT pleasant overall these days, especially the days leading up to arrival in Marathon, which were the worst yet, but this experience deserved 5*****!Thank you again for all your genuine help!

I have lived in Marathon my whole life and have sat through the drive thru line many times and after another thirty minute wait I want to express how terrible this Walgreens is. Every time I put a prescription in I have to go there just to have them start it. They never have it on time. The pharmacy staff do not know how to deal with customers either. "Can you please take your car to the back of the line. You are holding up the line."

I have been a resident of Marathon Florida for over 10 years. Since I've lived in Marathon I have been a reoccurring customer to Walgreens store. I do go to both stores but I frequent the Walgreens on the Northern side of Marathon. I usually have to go to Walgreens stores at least 3 to 4 times a week. I often spend over $100 on each visit. Since I attended the stores so frequently the staff has come to recognize my wife and I. Usually when I attend the store I get treated with welcoming and positive attitudes. Unfortunately on November 20th 2017 I went to Walgreens to purchase an item and had the worst experience I have ever had. The employee named Jennifer treated me with such disrespect I was utterly disgusted. One of the other employees had a line and ask for assistance at checkout. Jennifer clearly didn't want to do her job and check me out. She made an unhappy groan, & rolled her eyes at me and said, "couldn't you just wait in line until the other checkout attendant could help you? I really dont feel like doing this" I replied to her that I didnt ask for her to check me out, her coworker did. She continued to glare at me with her hateful eyes. She checked out my items and violently threw my change onto the countertop. I told her that if she hated her job so much, why does she even work there. Her response to me was, "what makes you think that I hate my job?" So i responed that it was pretty evident by her actions, and the way she was treating me. Rather than apologizing for mistreating me, she pushed my items to the side and said "next customer." I told her that I hope she had a better rest of her day, and i left the store feeling very disappointed and abused. I understand that she may have been having a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating customers the way that Jennifer treated me. Her negitive tone of voice, her poor customer service skills, and her discusting attitude will make me question if I ever want to shop at a Walgreens ever again. Again, the rest of the staff is very plesant, and the owner Patty Philcox is very professional. Ms. Philcox has gathered a great staff, but I firmly believe that her employee Jennifer is a bad seed. My recommendation is that Walgreens Marathon is already a good establishment, but if people like Jennifer and her bad attitude werent a part of their team, Walgreens Marathon could be a great establishment.Jamie Rider

Dropped off my prescription, pharmacist told me it’ll be ready in an hour. Came back few hours later when other pharmacies are closing, just for them to tell me they don’t have it. Literally could’ve dropped it off at any other pharmacy if I knew it wasn’t available. Now I don’t have my medication and every other pharmacy is closed. Thanks for not being capable of completely your job successfully. The rest of us do it. Figure it out. It’s a simple yes or no. YOU HAVE ONE JOB.

This Walgreens is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week which is always great. There is no one ever at the photo center. They do have a wide selection of Samsung and iPhone chargers however extremely expensive and a very crappy brand. I've used the pharmacy here a couple of times and was very happy, efficient and helpful. Also, there is a garbage can right by the entrance that is overflowing always and smells like a dead animal pit. Does anybody there take out the garbage?

Booked 4 Covid booster shots back to back on website. Drove 40 miles and when arrived they said they didn’t have any vaccines. Why accept appointments then? Asked to speak to pharmacy manager and they we on vacation. When I asked to speak to store manager they said they didn’t have one.

WORST WALGREENS IN THE HISTORY OF PHARMACY MUCH LESS WALGREENS…My wife has insulin and asthma medication that is absolutely VITAL FOR HER TO SUSTAIN LIFE. These pharmacists couldn’t care less. Because she filled early last month they made her wait 36 days the following month even though they are the ones that released it early. Being that she has a 30 DAY SUPPLY. It obviously didn’t last 36 days. Being easy going we went to the hospital and got another prescription that is similar to the same medication but a newer version. So we went and filled the newer medication. She’s gone one day without her meds no problem. Here’s the thing. The hospital only gave her a 15 day supply, but when we went to refill the original script when the new one ran out they said since she had been prescribed two similar medications that we HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 30 DAYS. WHAT??????!!!!?!?! So here we are in Baptist hospital Miami because my wife tried to tough it out for TWO WEEKS AND ALMOST DIED. Trust me we will be looking to sue. This is insane. AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT APL COSTS. Do yourself a favor and go to the other Walgreens by Publix….

Poor repeating service and attitude issues at this Walgreens pharmacy over several years. Multiple visits now with issues related to follow through on prescription fill (sometimes they are entirely forgotten) insurance filing and more. This is a generally poor Walgreens pharmacy experience vs anywhere else in my travels in the 50 states. In general, these folks don't seem to want to be there, and the problems related to basic service and follow through persist over many years.

Not so happy on my way home I decide to stop to buy few bottle of wine and coffee liquors for new years party. Went i got to the cashiers after a long wait at the time to pay, the young boy looking younger than my grand daughter, ask for my id, I ask him how hold he tought I was he ansew it is a policy for everyone. We have a problem of privacy in this country where any crook try to steel your identity. I live to long to be treated like this. Enought of abuses I left my buy on the counter telling the clerk to keep it, and went to PUBLIX store, where I am treats like a man of my age ( with respect).

Absolutely deplorable. They have no customer service. I have an emergency flight and need a rapid test but they won’t see me without logging into the website for which I have no comped to do so. I am sitting here in person and they tell me I have to log in or they can’t talk to me .

If there was a zero stars option, I would’ve selected that. Staff is extremely rude. I’m from out of town and obviously don’t know my way around and they were disrespectful. Not only in the store, but on the phone too. Now driving twice as far to get the service I deserve, I would NEVER go back to this place. Not impressed.

My favorite place to shop for pretty much anything in Marathon FL!!!! Always greeted w a friendly smile & "Is there anything I can help you with"? as soon as I walk in the door!!! I don't reside in Marathon but visit for months at time....*The liquor prices & selection are excellent also...;-)

This store does not respect the medical marijuana patient that needs to clean their apparatuses. I feel they are outdated and should learn that medicine is a private decision not a private operation.
