Very clean and well organized inside. There were many employees working, and we had a very short wait at the registers in spite of the place being crowded. The only negative that I can say is that the parking is rather limited compared to other stores in the area. We had to park at the far end of the plaza at 4pm on a weekday.

Generally Publix is clean, well lit and has good service. Equally important, I love their subs (even on a gluten free wrap), but this store was a disappointment, especially the employees at the deli counter. The person making our subs was apparently new and didn't know how to make them. She also wouldn't follow directions from the other folks behind the counter who seemed to be frustrated with her. They even let my wife walk to an aisle to find the right dressing to go on her sub.We eventually got two subs but they were disappointing. Also the floors in one aisle were absolutely gross.

Absolutely by far the best Keys to stay in! Do much to do and experience within a few miles. I would say it's about the halfway point of the Keys! We love everything about it!

I’m a Publix Lover! Specifically I love their deli and pub subs. However, this Publix deli and sandwich counter is only for those who speak Spanish. If you look or speak Spanish but try to speak in English, they will tell you to speak to them in Spanish. If you do not speak any Spanish, they treat you rudely and do not make your order correctly. They don’t know how to make the signature buffalo chicken tender sub, nor could they make a jerk turkey sub correctly. They could not even get a personalized sandwich write despite being told how to make it. Such a disappointing visit to a Publix. The Winn Dixie right next door though was a lovely environment with friendly faces speaking multiple languages all willing to help their customers. Definitely know where I will be going when I need more groceries for sure. Shopper beware and choose wisely.

Unlike so many grocery stores these days, Publix had plenty of cashiers available to check everyone out. No long lines snaking through the aisles, just friendly faces ready to help you on your way.This might seem like a small thing, but it made a huge difference in my experience. It's refreshing to see a store that prioritizes customer service and recognizes the value of human interaction.Of course, Publix gets major points for always having a fantastic selection of groceries. From fresh produce to delicious bakery items, they have everything you need to stock up for your stay in the Keys.But truly, the abundance of cashiers and the speedy checkout process is what really sets this Publix apart. A big thank you to the Publix team in Marathon for going the extra mile to take care of your customers!

Absolutely LOVE this Island retreat. Music live by the pool and sound system playing til 9 pm Great jacuzzi time. Could use an extra step Walked thru the park to the lake Really enjoyed the sunsets. Our dog LOVED the GRASS!!!

This is really the only grocery store in the area of Marathon. When we stayed here, this store was EXTREMELY conveniently located to our rental house. They were pretty helpful in here, and it’s VERY clean, and neat. We were able to get several needed groceries for the week. There’s also a limited number of items that can prepare you for the beach. I was BEYOND glad they even sell postcards of Key West, and the Florida Keys.

Great place to shop when you're visiting from out of town. They have a great selection and are well stocked. The prepared foods section is awesome for quick meal options if you're traveling or planning a day at the beach.

It's nice to have this supermarket available here. Milk and produce prices are mostly in line with the mainland.However, some produce and bread gets picked over during peak tourism times.

First of all, I believe Publix is a great organization. Their charitable contributions to their communities is well documented. A Publix truck with the necessities of life will be on the scene of a natural disaster immediately after first responders and I applaud them for that. Let's talk for a minute however about the craziness their Marathon store has become with overcrowding. Albeit there isn't much publix can do regarding the number of customers that come into their store, they can however take measures to ease the crowding once inside. Yes I know it's high season and yes my experience was on a weekend however just hear me out.It was my experience that down every aisle were Publix employees and their 5 foot long product carts severely congesting already grid locked pathways. I know product has to get out but must they be in every aisle, in every department, at every turn?!Secondly, remove the numerous impulse buy kiosks that clog "Main Street" The main, front walkway in front of the registers! This is already a design flaw wherein customers are forced to block the main street while waiting in line to pay! Get rid of the clogging kiosks!Third, much like the first suggestion, don't allow vendors to stock their products at peak shopping times! They are in the way and they can tend to their products at less crowded times.Lastly, tourists it isn't necessary to bring your whole family into the store to go shopping. Dad or mom can accomplish this feat on their own. Your already at a disadvantage as you are in a new store and don't know where anything is, you don't need little Johnny and Suzie following you aimlessly around the entire store while staring at their phones most likely wishing they had stayed in the car or at the hotel to begin with! I'm sorry, I may have touched a nerve, but I'm not wrong!Ok rant over; I said what I said. The bottom line is Publix is a wonderful organization that could improve on some organizing practices.

The employees are friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, and the setup makes sense when you walk through. I knocked off a star because the prices are so high, but to be fair, prices are high everywhere rn. 🤷‍♀️

Great to have a full grocery while on vacation.Go during the week and they have some good deals. Super packed on Saturdays.The fresh fish department is good. The lady working there does not like her job though. Very poor service . Everyone else working in the store was great though.

Was recommended this place by friends we met on vacation and wasn't disappointed it had a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and fresh meats, prices were very reasonable and staff were polite and very helpful highly recommend and I will definitely shop here again.

Fully equipped grocery store with great selection and service. I give 3-4 stars as a default when no issues. Step it to 5 when expectations exceeded. There's a certain African American woman at the deli counter that I suspect everyone knows individually brings this store to five stars.

Did not like this Publix store at all. Very busy, chaotic, not very clean and the staff at their sandwich counter just shouted at you for your order not making eye contact at all. Definitely will not be back to this location.

This is the craziest, rudest store I've EVER been in my entire life!!! People cut you off, stop in the middle of the isle KNOWING they are blocking traffic. They will stand in front of an item making up their mind IF they want it or not, again, knowing they are holding others up. The store is PACKED all the time and apparently EVERYONE knows this except the tourist!!
