Kerry and Andre and Bridgette and Petal, the proprietors of hounds and kitties, truly represent what free enterprise is all about!If you give people great service and value based pricing you can succeed in a free market without concern for your big box store competition.Advice is always great and still free (in that case worth much more than what you paid for it)!I don't think there has been a time that I have been in shopping that it hasn't turned into a community meeting with topics ranging from pets (of course) to gluten free diets, politics etc with all of the other customers.Laurie, Harry and Tuesday are wonderful as well and that "new" girl who's name I can never remember is great as well!

Went to Hounds and Kitties because I was thinking of switching dog food brands and the owner was extremely nice, patient, and helpful! Prices are comparable to Chewy and cheaper then the last locally owned pet store I went to. I definitely will be back!

I was extremely disappointed by the poor customer service I experienced today. Yesterday I purchased a bag of dog food from Hounds & Kitties and after feeding my dog a cup and a half of food, realized that the food was FULL of maggots. I was immediately concerned for the health of my puppy who has since exhibited lethargy and vomiting. Although it is not something that I should be overly concerned with unless it continues through tomorrow, I was extremely upset by the lack of sincerity and concern Hounds & Kitties exhibited today. When I returned with the open bag of food, all they offered was a penny-for-penny return and zero remorse. Up until today, I was a loyal customer to this Mom and Pop shop as they have always expressed sincere love for their customers and dogs. Speaking so highly of them to family and friends, I've directed a lot of business their way. Needless to say, my friends and I will be taking our business elsewhere here on out.

Very friendly and helpful service. High quality foods for your pets, in this case, for two dogs with discriminating paletts I was sitting for recently. The "Wing-a-ling flavor of canned dog food has actual chicken wings with ultra-tender bones so your lil' furry family members can bite and chomp with abandon!

I just read that 2 star review and don't get it. I've been shopping there for years and the owners are the best people and very flexible and cool. Go back and talk to the owners again you will see they are fair and reasonable people. NO way have I ever had a problem with the dog food. They would never treat a customer in such a way.
