Great pet food and accessories selection in a cute neighborhood store. Very clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Also they have frequent sales and coupons. The biggest sale is in November, I never miss it!

I went in to buy my 2 year old tuxedo max a couple new toys. I found a well stocked store for both Dogs and Cats complete with a dugout solely for cats. Bought a few toys and a brush and was given a can of food they picked with dry foods to try. Max ate the entire can with gusto i am happy to say. I had been having issues with the fillers used in most cat foods and prefer a more natural product. Look at that, so does Max…. Happy cat; happy owner…. Back soon thank you

The Hound's Meow is a pet lover's paradise, chock full of pet supplies from all of the major sources and brands. However, the owners go out of their way to provide only high quality pet supplies, advice and referrals. They are familiar with their customers and really care about them and their pets. this was our first visit and will be our future source for anything related to our wonderful little "Chiquita"

We stopped in for the first time about a week ago just to browse, do a little Gotcha Day shopping, and pick up a bandana. The staff was very friendly and the selection of products was excellent. We'll definitely be coming back in the future.

At my last address, I lived next door to the cutest boutique pet shop and it completely changed my view on shopping at big box stores. So when I moved, I was so happy to find The Hound’s Meow was right in my neighborhood. I’ve been there several times now and the staff is always helpful and friendly, the shelves are always stocked and everything is easy to find. Their rewards program is all automated and includes many of the products I regularly purchase. Sometimes me and my dog come in just to browse and get out of the Florida heat. The only thing that could make The Hound’s Meow better would be an in-house nail trimmer/grinder who takes walk-ins. That would be… *chef’s kiss*!

I used to be a regular customer, but they’ve lost me now. One of the sales clerks recommended a K9 tooth brush and k9 toothpaste they sell for my dog. He assured me they work well. I bought it and tried it on my dog, but the toothpaste smelled rancid and the toothbrush wouldn’t even fit on my dog’s teeth. (Medium size female yellow lab.). When I tried to return it (a lousy 10 bucks plus tax) the manager informed me they don’t take anything back except for open dog food, (because they can get a credit for that.) I was shocked that a seemingly reputable small business wouldn’t cater better to their customers. That’s not even the worst part. My complaint is that I asked for the owner to call me to discuss the situation but I never received a callback. I stopped back five days later, and the manager just reiterated that she spoke with the owner and they weren’t going to take back the inferior products.This store has always been a little overpriced, but for the most part it has had some friendly clerks. I even let them use my dog’s pictures in some of their ads a couple of years ago when they sold a Gasparilla Bandanna. But now that I now know they won’t stand behind any of their products and they won’t give any refunds under any circumstances, I can’t support them anymore. I will shop at places like Amazon, Pet Smart or the like who takes returns. Be Aware!

Anita and her team members went out of their way to review with me options to help control with one of my pups anxiety. After much discussion and sharing of their experiences, I selected a natural product to try. The Hound’s Meow team definitely goes above and beyond. Thanks for all you do!

Nice little pet boutique with a good selection of pet related items! They have both kibble and raw food, a large assortment of toys, clothes, bedding, and body care products. They have a very friendly staff, and the prices are in line with an upscale boutique. We will definitely be back.

I have always loved this place! I was looking for a little pink collar with diamonds for my little lady dog. I can always depend on The Hound's Meow to have what I need! I had been looking for the collar since before Christmas all the was thru the New Year and realized I bought her worn-out diamond collar at The Hound's Meow. Here I was looking everywhere and couldn't find the one I wanted. Thank you for being there... plus your receptionist was a salesman (woman) as we bought additional things!!!

Wide variety of specialty brands of pet food and supplies. Clean store, prices are comparable to other box stores. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a decent and fair return policy which is nice if you have a picky eater at home as I do. I highly recommend this independent store. Support small business and locally owned!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the large selection of premium foods available for my dogs food allergies. Prices were very similar to what l pay at the feed store where we usually shop. They had the shampoo and treats l needed also at a reasonable price which saved me a trip to another store to purchase. I will definitely be back.

After spending another $250 at the vet for the fourth visit (with no solution) we went to the Hounds Meow to purchase a new collar. I met with the owner and explained an ongoing problem with our rescued Labrador’s GI system. She made suggestions that were easy to implement and stopped the diarrhea and gas my dog has been experiencing. She did not recommend new food or expensive products. In fact we only purchased toys and a new collar. I wish I had gone to Hounds Meow first instead of spending a fortune at the vet.

This is absolutely my favorite pet supply store! All the employees are so helpful, yet they allow you all the time you need to browse and discover new finds. Though there are plenty of franchise “pet stores” closer to where I live, this family-run place is unique and so worth drive!

What a disappointment! I have been purchasing dog food and products from this company for quite some time as I like to support local businesses but I will be taking my money somewhere else. I purchased a medicated shampoo for my dog with skin issues. After using the product he ended up with oozing scabs all over his body and face. The next time I was at the store I shared my experience with the manager Shelby, which advised me that although they do not typically refund for shampoo, she would make an exception and happily gave me her card. The next time I needed dog food I brought the shampoo with me but the clerk told me that she was unable to process a refund and recommended I leave it there and she will have Shelby call me the next day. I did received a call from Shelby the next day but she seemed to have amnesia, she didn't remember anything and went on to recite their policies without a breath in between. Didn't bother to ask me to refresh her memory or give me the opportunity to explain until I had to ask her to stop. Long story short, the manager was just about as attentive and couldn't stop talking and interrupting long enough to fully understand. Apparently active listening is optional for these folks, they barely waited for me to finish a sentence before jumping right in. Well, you can keep my 14 bucks or whatever it was for your overpriced product, this previously loyal customer is perfectly fine with taking their business to Feed depot, Pet supplies plus, Pet city or the many other stores in the area, there certainly is no shortage of pet supply stores. The biggest difference between The hounds meow and the other stores is that The hounds meow is painfully overpriced.

This place has everything for cats that eat raw. The actually have vital essentials and Stella and chewy for cats. The prices are just as good and at a little lower for food and litter. They have unique toys and for this foster people who have neonates, they have KMR. Amazing. I'm so glad to have found them.

Sarah was super helpful and knowledgeable. She is patient with pet owners and offers a different was to approach problems. My little yorkie was having digestion problems and we had taken him to several doctors to include a GI specialist who ordered very expensive Rx only food. Sarah was able to help me rethink what might be going on and VIOLA!!! my pooch is much better. They have great selections and quality products for pets.

This is a great store. Their prices are very competitive, they have a great selection of healthy grain-free dog foods and raw food, if you sign up for their email list, they send you a coupon about once a month, and best of all, they are locally owned, which means the money you spend there has three times the impact on the local economy compared to shopping at a chain.

I really love coming here. They are very sincere and love to help out or just listen to your pets cute stories. I always leave here happy and my pets are well taken care of. I have been given advice many times on ways to improve my little ones diet and keep them happy and healthy.
