Great Place. Every single thing is reasonably priced. Way cheaper than any big box store. The store was the cleanest fish place ever I’ve been to. Very knowledgeable staff. Super friendly and professional. Will most definitely be back here for more fish and plants. Highly recommend anyone check this place out if you’re looking for fish or aquarium supplies. This place takes such good care of their fish that they are happy fish. Sounds weird but they all looked happy and when we brought ours home they are just so happy and thriving. Great place great fish great staff. Wish I would’ve found this place sooner. ***we did not purchase the Tilapia from here***

This was one of THE BEST freshwater aquarium hobby stores I have been to. I used to also work at a marine aquarium hobby store almost 15 years ago, so I can appreciate the challenges of maintaining and improving aquariums in a store.Once entering the store I was not bombarded by the employees and allowed to peacefully enjoy their beautiful and healthy animals and plants. The prices are VERY fair. The plants are neatly displayed and clearly labeled. Their bettas are also very happy!They have multiple very large display aquariums that you can just get lost in watching. After being there for about 10-15 minutes, an employee kindly asked if we needed assistance, which at that moment we did not. Once my husband and I knew what we would purchase, we went to the front counter and asked for assistance. The owner asked one of his employees to help us and he was EXTREMELY helpful! I am very grateful for his help and wish him the best!I definitely will be back soon!!

Just had an amazing experience at Fishy Business Aquarium! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through their wide selection of aquarium fish. This store is such a blast to visit, even if you're not buying anything. I got started with my first tank a little over a year ago and the staff was very helpful in guiding me through the process. I've been able to keep both my live plants and fish alive, huge thanks to Fishy Business!

Love this place. I live about 1.5 hrs away and drive there just because they're very knowledgeable. Doug is extremely helpful and I've been very pleased with the fish as well as the plants I purchased. Go there about once a month to get my water tested and check out the new marine life they have in stock. I would highly recommend fishy business over your local pet store any day.

What a great place! Huge selection of freshwater and some salt water critters. The gal that helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. I was able to get my little 5 gallon going with a beautiful gourami and some Barb's with a few healthy plants.

I love the fish, just check out my tankMy only issue is when I went yesterday I waited about 15 minutes to be helped but the employee helping people kept helping others , some who just walked in the store.All while the store owner sat behind the front counter and talked with someone about aquatics, really?Well that's 32 bucks they didn't make off me sorry about that, well no not really sorry.They guy that told me he would help me should have helped, and that store keep he has boss man syndrome.Very unhappy with my visit to fishy business, may start going to that bizarre pet shop from now on. At least they were courteous and helped me promptly. But something fishy is going on with this business.

Great place. Big stock of fish, even some oversized fish. I've made some risk purchases here, and couldn't complain about them at all. Still have the fish I purchased, almost a year later.

Absolutely love my orange mini crayfish more than my fish. Fishy business has an excellent staff that's help me with an algae problem that I could not treat with chemicals because of the crayfish so they recommended snails that their eggs will only hatch in brackish water so I won't have 10,000 snails. And it worked, they're are cool looking too!

First time in the store in 15 years and the store, staff and owner were as it was 15 years ago. Very clean, staff was helpful when they were needed no pressure or feeling rushed. Bought my first freshwater fish (12 neon tetras) and 24hrs later still alive and healthy. Definitely recommend checking this place out they have a huge selection of fish and plants!

As long as Rich, the owner, is running the place we will NOT be stepping foot into Fishy business in Longwood again. Today's experience was the straw that broke the camel's back. I can only handle being treated in a condescending, misogynistic manner so many times. Rich, today you called me a liar in front of my daughter, your employees and your customers. When I came in this morning you told me I could return a fish that was being aggressive with my other fish I bought from you. We talked in detail. Then when I came back with it you said I didn't buy the fish from your store, that it wasn't worth the price I know we paid for it, (only gave a $3 credit), and then you said it was called a different name than what was labeled on the tank when we bought it. My daughter was with me when I bought it and she even remembered the name and price. The ONLY reason we've been coming back over the years is because of two of your younger gentlemen employees who have always been incredibly kind, humble, knowledgeable and willing to help. I used to rave to my fish-loving friends and even to fish shoppers at other pet stores about Fishy Business. But even still my daughter and I would breathe a sigh of relief when we'd walk in and find Rich wasn't there that day. And today my husband can attest, I said "pray Rich treats me nicely!" as I left home to return the fish. We have spent 100's on fish there for our 4 tanks, but we are done. Having nice fish is not worth it when your character is trampled on and you have to explain to your young daughter why some people are disrespectful and rude. I'd rather buy cheap fish from a pet store where at least I'm treated with dignity and respect. Rich, I would encourage you to think of your customers as friends, to think about your reputation and the legacy you'll leave behind. Those matter so much more than your fish.

This is one of the better fish stores in the area. They strictly have freshwater fish. Their selection of fish is pretty decent. It's probably the largest in the immediate area. As far as aquascaping goes, this is not really the place. I don't think they really carry much as far as that goes. Maybe a few plants but not really any hardscape products. Not really much equipment either. Pretty much just fish, but a good selection. Service is good here as well.

i absolutely adore this store. staff are extremely friendly and immediately help you. just wait for whoever got in first and they’ll reach you eventually. all the fish i got are doing very well, all deaths i’ve had were clearly my own fault. (i’m still learning, currently on my first tank.) the plants are also very nice! they’ll give you advice on whatever fish related inquiries you have. once i tried to purchase emerald corydoras without a heater, and they immediately told me that corydoras are warm water fish and need to have a heater or they’ll get sick. also, they double bag the fish which definitely gets rid of my anxiety of popping the bag lol!
