If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER. And I repeat NEVER use Schiros Feed At Fishhawk or the one on 672. I purchased a 1000lb alfalfa block earlier this week. I come home yesterday to hay string sticking out of the block. Fine. Mistakes happen I get that. But it needs to be replaced as these are NOT cheap. I called to express my concerns and see what can be done about it. The owner Bob Schiro told me he will not do anything about it and technically I shouldn’t feed alfalfa blocks to horses anyway. He said “technically they are called dairy blocks and are meant for cattle”. So if that’s the case why are you selling it advertised as an ALFALFA BLOCK for horses? I’m DISGUSTED with the treatment from Schiro’s and to top it off Bob ended the conversation by HANGING UP on me when he knew he was wrong. NEVER I repeat NEVER use Schiros feed.

I have been a customer and friend since I moved to Florida in 2014. Great quality hay, large variety of horse of feed. They'll sell your decently used tack on consignment also.

I love this store and the lady who works there (I believe her name is Kim). She is so kind, helpful and wonderful! I love the quality of Schiros hay and I LOVE that they carry Cool Stance feed! Fantastic people, store and products! 🙂

Schiro's is awesome! If I could give them 10 stars out of 5, I would. Kim is usually scared of me because I buy a lot of wheat bran from them (I'm a mealworm famer). The reason is because I tend to drain their inventory whenever I stop by.:DHowever, now I just order a huge bulk amount of wheat bran ahead of time and pay a $30 delivery fee (it changes based on where you are located). They are very negotiable and go through with you on the whole process. The staff at Schiro's always try to make your orders a pleasant one.

This place is the best. Kim is super helpful and knowledgeable about horse stuff, and they always have friendly, efficient staff that can load hay like it's an advanced Tetris game. Great quality hay and they carry the best feeds. Love Schiros!!
