If your thinking of working for dollar general be warned when working for this store. The manager is not fit to run this store. There is a reason this store is always messy and it's because management and employees don't care. Then there's that the manager like to edit your hours and cost you money for time worked. Daily I was cost close to 30 mins for time being edited and that adds up weekly. Avoid this store at all cost.

Never talked to a manager with as bad of an attitude than this place.. nothing but negativity and merchandise all over the floor. I’ve seen better organization from a toddler. I guess this is what happens when you find yourself working at a minimum wage job and hate your life.

I’d love to share details. This store was pretty nice for the first year. Now it’s a mess constantly. I was just in there this morning to buy one thing. And the managers husband walks up and has a girl check him out in front of other people waiting so he can get his cigarettes. And says call me if you need me. He does not work there. Doesn’t card him but she’ll card everyone else below 95. The self checkout is always down.

I tried to get an even exchange on the exact wall charger exact brand and price and the manager turned me down stating that because the registers only accept card not cash she cant let me exchange. Not sure what one has to do with the other but I feel like she just didn't want to do it because it was me....guarantee if it were someone similar to her she would have done it in a heartbeat. I've never heard of a store not exchanging something brand new in the plastic it came in and you bought it literally 20 minutes prior....smh... but hey she told me to go to another Dollar General at 9:30pm.... amazing "customer service" SIKE! I'll never return to that store and i literally live across the street....shameful!

They can be a little more organized. Some aisles are always blocked. They need to work on friendliness as well. I witnessed a customer service representative who was on her phone while a customer waited for her to finish. He told her he was on his break from lunch and had limited time to purchase his items and leave. She bickered back and forth with him. I felt very uncomfortable. Customers come first! If you must be on the phone, please go to the back.Other customer service representatives are nicer and faster.

One year ago, this Dollar General store was the nicest one I have visited. So when we came 2 Florida 4 the winter, I visited the store again. 😳 Empty shelves. New stock on gondolas in the middle of the aisle. One employee in the middle of the afternoon. Long line @ the checkout. Felt bad 4 the clerk.

Well stocked, most things are pretty easy to find. Store is always clean. Only complaint is that they are understaffed 99% of time, so more often than not you're left waiting to check out or ask for help finding anything. Single person to run register, stock, amd answer questions.

I'm usually very happy but today was not that day. They were out of several of the things I wanted to get. I waited till today to use my Saturday coupon but most of the stuff I bought had restrictions on it and they wouldn't honor it for that however I bought enough but the coupon still wouldn't work.

We happened to be there while restocking after truck came in so aisels full of merchandise that we couldn't go down 1 aisel i wanted to but i understand they need to restock. Overall clean store.

I have been deali with the Dpllar General store on Ct Road 44 Leesburg ,FL since it opened . The only complaint I could voice was , a little crowded, aisles blocked with unloaded boxes . Prices good ,staff very friendly & helpful ! Now my concern the last 2 times I have gone into this store , no one , including. The staff has a mask on ! This includes people unloading their stock .Im 85 years old , I try & shop early morning to avoid an influx of people ! Don’t you think that until we get a handle on the Covid 19 , it would be best to require a mask to enter your building ? I don’t even mind cleaning off your cart handle , because many hands have spread their germs ! .I believe I will restrict my shopping to stores that care about their customer’s safety Or to online shopping with Amazon !Thank you , Joan Plant

Love this store! Store manager, Michele, is awesome 🤗 all her employees are extremely helpful & have great customer service skills. There's never a time I go in & they're not welcoming & helpful. My favorite neighborhood store!

I was in there for 10-15 minutes to get some food and drinks and what not to take to the springs with us. We (my boyfriend and 2 kids) all had on our bathing suits, my boyfriend being the only one wearing a shirt. We filled up a cart with 50 dollars worth of stuff and then was told by what I think was the manager that we all had to leave exept for my boyfriend who was wearing a shirt. Even our 2 year old got told to leave. I was still looking for some frozen chicken when she stopped me so we would have spent more but I guess they don't care about their revenue. However there was another employee there who my boyfriend said was very nice.

Went in for milk this evening. Cashier was extremely rude, dirty mop and nasty bucket full of dirty water unattended in the aisle of the over-the-counter medication, roof leaking, broken down boxes and water all over floor. Store is gross, employees are rude on a continual basis. Save yourself some grief and shop elsewhere. Tonight was my last visit!!

I hated working at Dollar General. Not enough pay for the amount of work they expect to get done. And my manager made me take money out of MY till to put in her till so her register would balance out so when she did that a few times and of course I would short then wrote up wth ? I told another DG manager that I know close to the DG by my house I asked her to watch me on store footage and she said she didn't see anything but me working like I'm supposed to do.. She ( other manager ) suggested I quit before she fires me.. So when she wrote me up the second time for the same thing I quit I love their products and mostly their prices but management especially the store I was in on West on County Road 44 in Eustis, Fl. 32736 and she is blonde and loud likes to pat her own back if she does anything in the way of her responsibility. I had only been there for 2 months before she started messin up my till... I have heard from previous employees and she did that to them. It's the fastest and most definite way of her getting rid of an employees... Her name was Jennifer she goes by Jen...But anyways Great stores and prices love them just not my old one... Hope this helps...

Had a cashier speaking to a coworker about someone stealing as if because I'm black he was putting me on notice.My freedom means to much to me to go in anyone's business and steal. Employees can use some diversity training

Love our Dollar General. Most of the employees at this Dollar General are very friendly. Only complaint I have is there is not enough help and isles are really stuffed.

Employees are nice but the store is a MESS!! Barely could get through the aisles, Cuz of boxes everywhere. Shelves are empty. It was also dirty!!

1st time at this store. Very nice store employees are very help full while shopping they stopped their work asked if we needed help finding anything and even checked a price of a stuffed animal that i was not sure of.

Inside is always a disorganized shopping experience and they lack the care of environmental impact at every location I been to. The amount of trash in the parking lots is down right shameful.

I particularly like this Dollar general because it's right by our house and it's so convenient and it's usually a mess and hard to get around , but I have no problem with all the other stuff, and, everyone is so friendly.
