Their fish were healthy, and no dead fish. I bought a bunch of them. I had to drive an hour there same to get back so they packed up our fish very well. Lots of oxygen, each type had its own bag into a big Styrofoam box. Everyone has been calm but alert and all with good appetites. They have some live plants too. I highly recommend this fish retailer.

We came here on vacation to browse and glad we did! We found our newest fur baby at the cat adoption section! The amount and variety of pets for sale there is better than other pet stores. Staff is super friendly and sweet. The owner is a people person and will chat will you and make you feel welcome. Thanks for our new kitty, we all love him! He fit in perfectly to our home.

Key Kritters is great! They have a ton of natural, raw and human grade food, treat options including Stella and Chewy, Primal. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and accommodating! My pups loved the free treat in the way out:)

Great store, great people. Went here to get my son a kitten for his 10th birthday. Spent $60 and left with a kitten and everything you need to get started. Litter box, litter, food, treats, toys, etc. I'm assuming the gentleman I worked with in the store is the owner and it is easy to see he is a true animal lover. My boy and the kitten have bonded really well and all around everything was just perfect. Thanks again.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I went in to see what freshwater plants were available and I was able to bring home a lovely variety of different plants including java ferns, assorted crypts, hornwort, water sprite, and anubias. My 5 gallon aquarium has never looked greener! I will definitely come back once my plants have had time to grow in and hopefully find the perfect fishy friend to bring home.

Great place to find all of your pet items!Healthy food and treats as well as an assortment of frozen fresh foods for your furr baby. Whether you need food, toys, leashes, beds, etc. keys kritters has it all and all of the staff are very knowledgeable about each item. They also have fish, bunnies, bearded dragons, and kittens for adoption!

Such a cute shop! And a great place to bring the dog. My dog loves it there. They have all the high end food brands that are difficult to find for pets. And there are pets to purchase, like birds and bunnies and reptiles. So, it's also a fun place to take the kids when you shop!

As you know, I only write reviews after many good experiences! That's only fair. I have been going to this store since I moved to Key Largo. It's such a small community and we are so fortunate to have Robby. He has an amazing stock selection of pet foods (even organics). He has the best products. He's so helpful with great recommendations. He actually uses most of his products - which is why his recommendations work. Robby and his staff always carry heavy items to your car for you - without asking them.On a side note, I wish he had won for commissioner. He's an honest, hard working small business owner who had a great vision for Key Largo.Visit this store and forget the box supermarkets. And don't forget to say hello to Felix the Shop Cat. I’ve been to this store a few times now and I can’t say enough what a wonderful business this is! Every time I’ve shopped all of the employees have been so friendly and incredibly helpful. They have the most high quality and difficult to find products that I use for my cats at home and I always find something new and interesting! As someone who has previously worked in holistic animal retail I am so relieved to have somewhere with so many amazing products close by! They’re always sure to throw in a free sample or give me some kind of incredible deal along with great conversation! They go above and beyond for their customers and are very welcoming. I never write reviews, but after so many outstanding experiences it’s only fair I give back!

Go see ROBBY or ROBBY!!! Both of them are very nice and knowledgeable! Their fish selection is great they always have something really nice that chain stores don’t carry. Extra bright platties or extra beautiful fancy guppies! Or even a huge FLOWER HORN FISH! Check out the old Florida style screen door in front can’t get much better than that!

Even though they are basically the only pet store in the upper keys..they are the best and I would still shop here if I had other options im sure of it. The owner and staff are so very helpful and so nice, this is why I say this. They took time to answer all our questions when we adopted our bunny and they seem to really care for all the animals they have. Every cage and aquarium are always clean and tidy. Its awesome to see the love they have for the animals and the shop.

We've been very happy with Keys Kritters, they've been our local pet store for almost 20 years. The entire staff is helpful and friendly, including the owner, who is also generous to his regular, local customers. Don't buy every single thing on Amazon and add to the environmental damage caused by daily shipping when you can make a trip to your local vendor for what you need!

Every time we go to Keys Kritters the Owner always takes care of us. We have been bought plenty of good aquarium equipment and accessories from here with comparable prices to the market. Also we have bought fish and changed our mind and traded them back for store credit at a fair exchange rate. Thank you Robbie and staff.
