Went out on a half day charter trip with Captain Joel Baldree and his Aucilla Outlaw airboat. Caught over 40 fish, some good size reds, trout, black drum, and sheepshead. The Captain knows where the fish are and wants to put you on them. Joel is also personable and considerate. At the end he filleted our keepers, shared some tips on cooking them and even threw in a bag of cornmeal and spices for our eating pleasure. Great trip and we look forward to doing it next year.

I love Jennifer, Joel's wife. Don't know what I would of do without her this last week. Yall go get some good food and go listen to the band this weekend if they have one.The smoked chicken wings are the bomb.

I like this store. I've been kayaking in this area for a few years. I've never had to use the store until this year. I needed to fuel up. I assumed I had to pay before I pumped the gas but they were ok with paying after. It brought back some good memories from the 80's. They were really nice. I appreciate that.

There's more to this place than just a little gas station..they have a bar/restaurant also..it's pretty cool 😎..stopped here not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised..I highly recommend this spot

If you must stop for gas or supplies, here's your last resort. Gas pumps are from the 50s, shelves have the bare basics, deli has been removed, no fountain sodas, but on a positive note, the attendant working the counter was as nice as could be...

This is a local store that's been here for a while. They have good food they make on premises. Call ahead about 20 mins and it should be about ready when you get there. Bait, tackle, gas, beer, ice and more. I ordered the fish with double coleslaw as I couldn't eat the other sides on my diet. It was really good. My boyfriend ordered the cheese burger and he said it was very good. We will order again.

Jr and his son, and family, workers, were so refreshing and accommodating for travelers and hikers. Tasty breakfast, good company, and a hiker's log made this one of my most memorable stops! Some hikers and i were able to spend the night in their pavilion due to storms passing through. Such generous people, all thr best to yall!!!

Proprietors here were affected saver!!Our 5th wheel had a flat, limited in and the spare was soft. They lent us their own air hook up and we were on our way.God bless ya'll greatly for being a good Samaritan!

Liked this place nice mom and pop place had a grill and served burgers some deep fried stuff but the best was some sausage they had like a brat had two of them very good and only 3.00 apiece.nice to spend money and it's not going to a big corporations.

JR's Aucilla River Store is a treasure to fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts. It's value is immeasurable for last minute or forgotten necessities like gas, snacks and tackle on the way to your favorite fishing spot. JR Walker is a great guy. Always willing to give advice on where to fish and what the fish are biting. We called in and ordered a hamburger today when we were leaving the Aucilla boat ramp. Upon arrival at the store we had hot fresh made to order burgers thanks to JR's staff who are always friendly and courteous!

I have been going to this store for over 20 years...had not been there for 3 years..walked in the other day and it was the same great friendly place...with some great tasting hot brisket sandwiches for the trip.This place is a landmark and a tradition.

Dont over pay for gas its a big fiasco as they can't refund you what you over paid. This is not very convenient for motorcycle riders whom needs to top off.

Went on a fabulous airboat ride. JR was a great navigator and such beautiful natural scenery. Saw alligators, dolphins, sea turtles and several bald eagles. Wonderful experience.

Nice little store and nice people as it's the only store for about 20 minutes and either direction. But you must have cash as they do not accept plastic. Or maybe they do accept plastic, but you have to buy over $8.?

It's a very small convenience store for ppl who aren't really in a hurry and if you don't mind the smokey smell of the place getting in your clothing then feel free to visit friendly people work here my complaint is that I cant seem to find anything here plus I'm always in a hurry

It's a convenient place to meet up with a friend between Crawfordville and Chiefland. The customers that came out seemed satisfied with the products they brought.
