We shop here often but today may have been the last. Our cashier Angel (male) never greeted us. Had one hand in his pocket the whole time he was "working". In fact, he never spoke to us through the whole transaction. For the price of groceries these days, it would be nice to show some customer service. I saved a couple dollars vs publix but the experience wasn't worth the savings. The store manager may need to work with their employees, or lose customers.

Ok location, pretty clean and organized. Lots of good stuff in this plaza (pep boys, restaurants, other businesses). Near walgreens as well and not too far from walmart as well

It’s unfortunate to watch the workforce that is brought in now. I see young employees standing around not helping bag groceries for anyone, let alone a lady having to bag her own groceries with her baby in her arms instead of receiving any help. I shop her often and it’s getting worse. Between the produce constantly being moldy and the horrible hospitality and service here at this location, it makes it hard to want to come back and shop. Truly disappointing

Cashier Daniel is rude. I’ve heard employees complain about him and I don’t blame them. I was in his line today , (I only had about 7 items.) after he checked out the customer before me, he turned his light off in a rush , and told me he was closed and to use self checkout. All he did was run outside to grab a buggy. (Thankfully the young lady, Jenna, at self checkout offered to ring me up on register 1.) I’m sure I am not the first to complain about him. He has a “that’s too bad” attitude. I’ve also seen other customers have a bad experience with him. save yourself some time and go in another cashiers line. Other than that i had a good shopping experience. Jenna was a fantastic employee and hope to see her again soon!

This store is seemingly declining, recently I went shopping here and picked up some hot items from the deli and the person working the counter stated they had no workers report to work to the deli area so he'd be closing that department early. I also opted not to purchase my hot items after using the stores restroom and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, there was absolutely nothan hygienic about it and I became lurey about ever purchasing prepared food from here in the future. I'm very very disappointed because this store is conveniently located but I'm willing to travel a little further for a quality shopping experience.

I used to dread visiting this store. I'm a lifelong Publix shopper, but the remodel has made this store bright, clean, spacious and easy to navigate. I know we saved money and it was a pleasant experience.

I just moved here from Brandon.. I needed a few items. To finish easter dinner.. And winn-Dixie saved the day!! And all!! The employees were verry helpful and friendly!! This is my new store always helpful with everything you need ! That was 10 years ago. Now I work there 👍

I'm not too sure why the store is going down or why the sharp decline in the quality of the meat here but I just purchased ribeye steaks that looked beautiful on the topside and when I got home to cook them the whole bottom side of them were Brown and they smell like rotten cheese. I'm not really happy about this but if you guys don't replace my steaks with really good ones you will be losing my business because what it looks like here is you guys tried to pull a fast one on the customers!

It's OK, I don't like the fact a lot of the vegetables are in packs, if you live alone you don't want 2 or 3 of the same things, you should be able to just buy 1

All the produce is brown and rotten every time I come here. Yet I see 5 workers just chit chatting in a circle at the service desk. Tons of brown meat too. Horrible store! I'm done...bye.

The store just got remodeled and it looks amazing! There's now self checkout and the workers are pretty good about helping you find what you're looking for. The bathrooms are hit or miss, sometimes they're disgusting and sometimes they're very clean. Overall, nice store.

I don't know why the manager of the meat department tells everyone that their $5.99 ribeye steaks are tough and that she wouldn't even buy it or eat it .. that they are fromMexico ... if she wouldn't eat it , why would she sell it ..

I'm always satisfied when I leave this store! The butcher is very kind and always helpful, I love the gentleman who helps get buggies he is very sweet and kind! And to top it all off the best cashier Morgan always helps us! She has taken the time to get to know my family and provide top notch customer service. My 5 yr old son Anthony insist on going to her checkout aisle when we come!

I LOVE this Winn Dixie on South Florida Avenue. They are friendly and so helpful. I love the new layout of the store. Robert the Manager is very helpful and accommodating.

Whomever is in charge of baking needs a refresher course or new taste buds. A long while ago I bought a black forest cake... probably one of the best things you sold... no longer can find it, which is an absolute shame it was delicious... this evening i purchased 6 sour cream donuts that were absolutely inedible. Chewy would be an understatement....made of rubber would be more appropriate and frankly wouldn't shock me if I saw it as an ingredient. I have three dogs that wouldn't even eat it... I'm pretty positive their rubber chew toys have less resistance than this donut did. Quality control is something you don't seem to have anymore for baked goods. Last week I bought 6ct of jelly donuts the white powder sugary topping was obviously put on and then steamed in the plastic container that made them inedible. My husband use to love your cherry pie, he now tells me specifically not to purchase it from your store. It's a shame.

Absolutely disgusting bathroom. If that’s how they so called maintain it and keep it clean I can’t imagine their food prep area being hygienic. Yuck. Will never shop here again

On the oldside could use some updates but shelves are usually full..... Update 7/20/22 so this store has been remodeling and it is so nice inside now. Makes you want to come back and shop more often

Every one at this store is amazing! They're knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and efficient. Management is wonderful. Personally cut meats to order, great produce and bakery.The stor-it self is extremely clean well organized and laid out for your convenience. Overpriced and they don't carry a lot of items. This location doesn't offer much for gluten free, that I could find. Two of the three coffee brands they don't carry and a couple other things. The store is clean and neat but unfortunately the mark up on the prices just aren't worth it. They have sales on items that even with the sale the item costs 35% more than at other stores.

When coffee is on sale you stock up. Had a great sale on turkeys too.Wish the store was cleaner. Just doesn't seem clean - dull & dingy.They need to do something with their parking lot! It's a disaster full of potholes!

We shopped at the Winn Dixie in south Lakeland, the store is older and almost every item I purchased was on sale but sale prices were not ringing up correctly. However the manager on duty was very nice and had the cashiers correct the prices without a problem. The store is clean and the products are fresh. The catfish was great, the seafood department did not have sale signs up but the associate was very nice and helpful.

It was fine, accept for waiting in line to pay. There was only one cashier and a line down her lane, with about 6 people. Finally opened another lane finally. Need more cashiers at 4-6 oclock when people are getting off of work. Everyone is in a hurry to get home. Other wise great prices.

We were able to get all of the things we needed and at the best prices. The store was easy to navigate and see what they had to offer on sale. We are very pleased at the best possible outcome for this trip and with what we were able to get. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to save money on groceries.

They have scaled back the fresh produce but what they have is still good variety, fresh and good quality.The place is old but generally clean except the fish area. Went on a Saturday, smelly not a good day for fish. The butcher was very helpful. We found a two for one roast but only one, so he cut another for us right then. We even found a hard to find item we had been looking for elsewhere.They don't have high quantity, but they have variety and good prices.

Winn-Dixie has great sales but make it up in higher prices on other items. I mostly shop at this store because it's not very busy. The staff is friendly but I'm not convinced that the fresh shrimp is REALLY fresh.
