I rarely do reviews so believe me when I said this… I am from Davenport I have been looking for Elecare JR for a month now every place I go they said if it’s not here then we don’t have ….I asks the manager (a very helpful gentleman) he did his best to look for it then he said I will do something better let me get my specialist in this area , the guy went above and beyond looking for the milk then he noticed I actually need to go to the pharmacy to get it , so the pharmacist guy also went above and beyond looking for it as well…Milk was found and now I know how to get it !Thank you to this 3 gentleman for the help!!!

Shop here only if you feel like rip off prices, being harassed by employees following you. They think every customer with darker skin steals. Overheard the workers at the CS desk talking about it. I'm a nurse, I'm going to risk my license to steal a pack of meat and a can of peas???!!!I was followed by one of them until I parked cart and told them off. I then took myself to Walmart to shop. Much better experience. Never again.

I rarely got to Publix because the BOGO prices for groceries are the regular prices at any other grocery store.But as an alternative, the deli is an excellent option when your close and want a sub sandwich or get some fried chicken to go!!!!!

Never again. I had my cart in the right side of the aisle and the employee was walking towards me right in front of me and WAVED me OUT of his way! When I asked him why he did that he said "I wanted you.to know it was OK to go around me". Dude...why the HELL should I go around YOU?!? Arrogant! No customer should have to deal with arrogance like that!

How are the Publixes in this area (closest to HQ) so disappointing? 7pm on Good Friday, and the only person working the meat department is hiding far in the back. I went to customer service to have them page them but there was only 1 person and they were slow and only working lotto. I found a grocery manager who was kind enough to help me only to find out that the person working meat tonight isn't trained to cut anything. How do you only staff 1 person that isn't even trained to cut? Maybe my expectations are too high but I work in an area where this would not fly at those Publixes. I feel like the standards in Lakeland are much lower.

Worst coustmer service I've ever received at a Publix. Walked in to grab a sub and there was no line. Stood in line for a few minutes and a lady Greeted me saying someone will be with you shortly. 5 more minutes go by and she is yelling for another employee to take care of me. She was working on a sub in the back room and he was stocked shelf's. He finished his shelf duty and disappeared from my site. The lady that greeting me is now mumbling I guess I'll do everything myself as she began a second sub and now 10 minutes have passed. She then yells for a new guy from the meat slicing to come help. He comes down and is resentful that he has to make a sub. He puts his gloves on and still has not address me yet. He is now shaking his head in disgust with the other employee and very poor coustmer service if I can tell the tension between staff and makes a very unpleasant visit. However we're not done. Finally the original guy sticking shelf's returned. 15 minutes have elapsed from first greet to now. Now the guy that was called over then pushed me of the the guy that was stocking shelf's. Now the sub is finally getting made by a guy that is also showing tension towards coworkers. In my opinion that is not a good staff to have working together. The 25 minutes sub tasted delicious but time I'll never get back due to a lack of initiative.

Their pharmacy is the worst. I quit using them several years ago. Mom had a prescription to be picked up. Naturally, it wasn't ready, so I waited. The assistant was advise when ready. Nope, it didn't happen. Finally got it when asked if it was ready after a wait. No kudos

I really enjoy shopping at Publix,yes I live in Lakeland Florida and I am a truck driver that has just got to try Hudsonville Ice Cream and it's one of the best ice cream I have ever had,but I have not found it in in Publix stores,so I asked the shipper where I could find it,he said Winn-Dixie or save a lot and target plus Walmart,these are store's I don't like shopping at,so maybe Publix could give this ice cream a chance it would be nice, Thank you for having the cleanist store's and most helpful people working for y'all!!

The "manager", shift leader, or supervisor...not quite sure what she is. But her name is Jackie. She is rude. UN Polite. Disrespectful. Or just plain and simple racist. I had a quick question and she ignored me 4 times until she responded with "i'm helping someone else". She might've been busy, yes, but her attitude and the way she responded is below her line of duty as the person "in charge". Totally unprofessional!

8 pc Fried chicken Usually the best But the worst i've ever had Too small to and over cooked. Don't buy!!!! Way too small pieces. The ones on the deli shelf were regular size or full size. The ones on the 8 piece were pathetic!!!! Less than half the size........

Today a cashier sneezed into his hands as I was coming up to payThe guy in the meat department was throwing down prepared meals into the case and talking with another worker while I waited for them to end their conversation and let me shop.That's what is going on at Publix.

Spacious and clean, one of my favorite Publix Stores in Lakeland area. The staff are always courteous and polite. Publix is chosen for the care and attention to detail that they provide for customers and having the best quality ingredients and products.Local Publix pride especially being where Publix was founded in Lakeland Polk County

I grew up on Lakeland and personal friends of the Chrenshaws. I am in town visiting family and have gone 3 x to Southgate and was shocked!! Lack of stock, on several items, non motivated employees and shopping was not a pleasure. I am saddened. Southgate is the staple, the original. I expected it to be cared for in the highest regard. I think Mr. George would be very disappointed....sighhhh

A clean store. I always find what I need in past shopping. But the deli is poorly managed.Update: Ive now had a few bad experiences with the deli.Last year (1st bad exp), I ordered a buffalo chicken sub. I asked for a cheese the deli worker said they would have to cut off the block (suggesting I choose another). I told her I'd rather wait for her to cut it. Well, this must have ticked her off, when she returned with the cheese, I watched her pull all the bread "guts" out of the sub roll and throw it away before putting two small pieces of chicken in it. I should have reported it.Yesterday, (2nd bad exp,) I ordered a sub sandwich. The deli worker took my order, cut my bread open and put the meat on.... then pushed my sandwich aside as if someone else was supposed to complete it. . Then for some reason, the worker asked the customer behind me what sandwich he wanted and started making THAT sandwich (including toppings) while mine just sat there. I'm not exactly sure what happened to my order but when he started wrapping the other customer's completed sandwich, I just walked away in disappointment. It was strange. I didn't buy anything and instead drove down the road to Lake Miriam Publix and got excellent deli service.

I do not get to shop at this location often,but happen to stop on my way back from a appointment, seems like this location was very well stocked on everything (including Deli and fresh foods).Wish this was my local store,but no I am stuck going to Plantation Square and night and day difference.Even employees at this SouthGate location very nice.Plantation Square they mostly just grumble at people always,unlike most other Publix Stores.

I ordered a cake for my cousin party for 3/19/2022. The name on the cake was spelled wrong and had to be fixed. And the cake was a disaster. I will never shop at the Publix again and will never recommend anyone to get a cake or anything from here. I am highly disappointed. The Birthday Party was ruined.
