This review is for family dollar on pipken rd in lakeland florida..I was purchasing a sympathy card and when I went to the cash register..the card on signage showed $1.00 she stated $2.00 I asked her to come and see that signage state $1.00 ..I asked to speak with a manager..he was very unprofessional..and would not honor the signage price..soI took a picture and he accused me of changing the price which I did not..please make sure if you purchase anything from this store you check the price because the manager here is very unprofessional and does not care about the customer

No lock on the bathroom door. Chemicals sitting out on the floor - huge liability! Barely any soap and no paper towels 😭 (air dryer didn't work)

The manager Ray was terrible . I came in the store for a pan and milk , grabbed a candy bar tab the register didn’t notice the date until I was gone which was (02/2021) and it’s April 20th. I opened the candy wrapper and the bar was covered in mold and mildew. When I returned to the store to speak to the manager he told me I was being too dramatic about the situation. Gave me a big nasty attitude once I asked for his name and corporates phone number . I will never spend money here again !

The 2 young women**, working the evening shift on 1/9/21, deserve a considerable increase in their hourly wage.For various reasons; but I'm speaking specifically to their thoughtfulness, candour and overall civility.If my terms are not met within 6 months.I will be very disappointed in the administration governing Family Dollar's wage calculations.

Amazing staff, a young girl was my cashier July 16th 2018,she was extremely helpful. She has secured my business to this location from now on.They also accept Google pay which is so extremely useful.

Overall good store; however, they need to work on their customer service skills. ..On 03/25/19 at 1pm I went to the cashier to purchase some items and inquire about when their next shipment of milk would come in; they were out of milk.The cashier proceeded to tell me with attitude " different days" I asked if she was in a bad mood? She said she was on a conference call pointing to her wireless cell apparatus.Sorry not buying that. More like talking to her boyfriend judging by the monosyllabic verbage and attitude..

Oct 6 2019 they will not let me use there bathroom. I went in with $30 to spend in store. They say their bathrooms broke but it doesn't have a sign stateing so. And when I asked for the employee bathroom they refused me. I have cancer on my kidney and they wouldn't let me use the bathroom. Petty.

I like to shop at this store because it is close to my house but after the way i was treated by the store manager Quincy I will never shop there again .He is very ignorant and I was applied at his demeanor .I noticed a sign in the window for a job so i decided to speak to him and gave him my work history with my previous 2 employees .In 20 years of work history I have missed a total of 5 days work and have never been late i also pocess 2 letters of recommodations plus verifiable references .When we spoke i reassured him I was a good candidate .Tuesday I received a phone call asking for me to come in for a interview today at 2pm excited I arrived 10 minutes early and I said I know Iam early but that's me Well he said you were suppose to be,here at 1pm and in said no it was 2 I have it written down He actions were awful first he said oh well sorry I said 1 without given me any chance he said Iam not gonna interview you now because you didn't show up at 1 and I have others coming in so I asked nicely is there a way we can resolve this because I would really like to work here and he flat out said no .Being a manager for 8 years myself I know sometimes things get a little mixed up and you can show a little forgiveness especially when you see a person who wants to work with experience and eagerness Now not only did he lose a good customer but the best employee he will ever have Thank Quincy Your loss Robin Brazell
