Went to this store early this morning. The automatic doors are not working AGAIN. Two employees inside the store literally walked past my mom and I not letting us in. We checked the store hours and it was open. But they looked us both in the eyes and kept walking avoiding letting my mom and I inside of the store. So we left and went to Target. Worst experience ever

They are stocked well, cleaned aisles. Although, I dont love the home area they have in the middle, it feels cluttered & doesn't seem easily accessible. Any staff I've had an encounter with has been friendly, helpful, and patient.

Due to current events (Covid) I placed an order for pick-up. My scheduled time was between 7pm-8pm. I arrived at the store at 6:55pm with my BABY just asking if it was ready or if I needed to come back. The cashier isn’t even wearing a mask, although it’s plastered over the plastic protective barrier that masks MUST be worn. I explain I’m here for an order pickup and she’s all sorts of confused “A pick up here? I never heard of that. Let me talk to my manager.” She walks away and walks back with someone I assume was the manager but doesn’t utter a single word to me. The cashier then says she can help the next person in line, so I move. I’m literally just standing next to the doors, holding my son, waiting. The cashier looks over a few times, doesn’t say anything. The manager is nowhere to be found. So I decide to go back into my car because I’m not going to stand in at the doors, people coming in and out, in a store where employees aren’t wearing a mask, customers aren’t wearing them correctly or even at all, when this was suppose to be a quick in and out ordeal. I tried to call the store but the line doesn’t even ring, just says the voicemail is full. So I couldn’t even get ahold of anyone to cancel my order. It was a mess, and honestly not worth the hassle. I’ll pay a little more for my items and avoid Dollar General’s all together.

Will never go to this location again. On Tuesday 8/9/22 around 2pm there was a manager (heavy , blonde hair older woman) who im over heard saying racist things regarding some customers that were out of ear shot of her. I however was close enough to hear. When she saw me looking at her she told me "mind my own bussiness, that she wasn't speaking about me". I didn't assume she was speaking about me. I assumed she was speaking about the other patrons but still feel like it was disgusting behavior. I asked who the manager was and she said she was. I immediately left the store. Disgusting

Make sure you check pricing at counter because I was literally riped off 10 dollars. The problem is not placing things in correct spot. The cashier was nice !

Everyone was helpful. Cashier greeted me as I came in. Excited about new fall items on display. A package was broken open but I didn't realize it until I got home. I called and was told I could bring in damaged product and exchange it for a new one with my receipt. I love Dollar General!!

Much nicer experience than when I was here a few months ago! So much cleaner and easier to find things! I'm guessing new management?? The couple staff I saw seemed really overworked but I didn't see any banners saying they're hiring? Which is too bad because either they've got staff out with the flu or they've pulled a bad straw in getting the store the hours they need, especially around the holidays like this. Definitely letting the family know it's not worth the extra couple miles to Walmart, though, even if I can't get my nephew to apply there.

Water on the floor Easter baskets off-the-shelf on the floor most of the cashiers are not friendly. Used to go there all the time because I live close to it but now I will go to the family Dollar Store that is another mile and a half from my house. Just don't enjoy going there anymore

This is your typical DG that doesn't disappoint. Is a bit crowded with merchandise as it always appears to be overstocked on the shelves and things waiting to be put on the shelves. I was told one time that when you saw stock racks in the aisle waiting to be put away it was because there weren't enough staff members to get it done. If that is truly the case, this store is seriously understaffed. Which actually does make sense because I don't believe I've ever seen more than o e cashier at a time regardless of how long the line is. Still I give it 4 stars because the always have exactly what I'm looking for. The store is clean and the staff is in good humor.

I really am disgusted by the manager of this store. He ALWAYS sets his "own discounts and prices" which is fine... he has never been in any way customer oriented. He is flat out rude and today I witnessed him PHYSICALLY GROPE a young PREGNANT cashier. Enough! Will be calling corporate. No wonder they cycle through employees weekly!

First and last time I visit this store ... Staff needs some training on how to treat customers. Especially the lady with the long hair I think she was a manager or supervisor. After following me all around the store while I was shopping,she wants to try and be rude when I'm fixing to check out. I just left everything there and walked out.

Kennetta is heaven sent! She is so sweet & I was off $11 & she paid for the remainder. She has great customer service & that is now my favorite dollar store.

First time I had been! A little cramped inside but was told to go there for unique Halloween candy for decorating cupcakes, cakes, etc., and they were right. Great selection. Literally like a kid in a candy store!!!

This is absolutely the worst Dollar General I have seen in my 50 plus years. It is filthy, unstocked, with nothing on the shelves. One checker, an old lady employee took her family up and checked them out and refused to wait on any of the 12 different people standing in line. There was only one girl at checkout. Do they have a manager at all. Never again. They should close it, it is run so poorly.

No was was at the check out. There were four people ahead of me. The woman in front of me said she thought there was a worker down the aisle by the line where we were waiting. I called down to her and told her no one was up at check out and 4 people were waiting. She finishes what she was doing, comes up to us. The guy first in line says the clerk was helping someone get propane. The girl goes out side then comes back in and instead of checking anyone out goes back to what she was doing. Finally a girl comes in and started to check us out. Then an older woman comes out from an office or some room behind the check out talking in the phone loudly messes around back by the counter and goes back I the room while 3 of us are still standing there. I couldn't believe it. I was in a big rush and this long wait was causing me problems. I could have driven the extra distance and went to Family Dollar. Next time I will.

New management, new staff, practically a whole new shopping experience while down visiting family. The caveat is I feel like the employees may be getting worked a bit hard, and often there's only one in the entire store. The salaried people are being used to work on the floor, and I don't think I've seen anyone work as hard and fast before.But I've worked retail in the past; if an ASM or store manager has hours to give they'll be happy to do so. Few employees means someone further up the chain, maybe at corporate level, is being a miser about handing out work hours. And it's wrong to take one's frustrations out on the workers at ground level when corporate does something both customers and employees will dislike. That's why they get five stars.

Your closing cashier Pat, is extremely rude and very obviously racist. Watched her be completely unnecessarily rude to 4 different African Americans that walked in or were cashing out. Every time I’ve gone in there she is always so rude!!

If your sign says you open at 7 now then how about actually doing it? Standing outside the damn door waiting and being late is ridiculous because the cashiers are stocking shelves instead of opening the store. There is always a problem at this damn store. It is a block from my house but I'm not going back. I'll drive out of my way.

The cashier refused to sell beer at 10am on Sunday citing an old blue law that didn't allow beer sales until after noon. The only problem is that law was changed way back in July of 2015 allowing beer sales in the city of Lakeland 7 days a week from 7am-2am. I've just moved into this neighborhood and have only visited this store 3 times. The first visit was acceptable. The second visit there was no clerk to be found in the whole store. The clerk finally came in from outside after three or four minutes of waiting at the register. Aside from being completely misinformed about local alcohol sales laws, this latest clerk seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of pleasant. Sorry, but I won't be going back into this store.

The staff is okay. There is one in particular that always wants to argue with customers and I've witnessed her get nasty and irritated with customers. At times this store gets ridiculously busy and there isn't enough staff to meet the needs of customers.

The store didn't have a door lock for putting a lock on door or packing tape with roller but clear tape without roller was 4.oo for a small amount. The store was very dirty. The cash out line was very long. That was my first and last time going to the store
