Slow , will hire anyone went to go add money to my paypal card and they took money out & didn't want to put it back told me to call paypal when she didn't know what she was doing and manually charged me from dollar general very rude ! the mistake would have not happened if the manager laura wouldnt have forced me to self check out with a new cashier because she is lazy as hell !

Horrible customer service from manager laura , apparently managers do not have access to receipts from transactions within 5 minutes nor can count a drawer when they over charge you or common sense

This store is very busy and it's a total mess. Everytime I've visited there are open boxes of inventory all over the floors so much so that I can't navigate a cart through most of them.

I am not a person to post reviews but I've never being inside a dollar general that is so organized and cleaned as this one. I found so many beautiful things for the house at amazing prices 😍 I literally told all my friends and family about how nice this place is! I'm excited to continue to shop here since is so close to my new house!

I go in there every week to get snacks and drinks for my shop. When I go in there there are no buggies I think they only own four. There are things in the aisle that we have to maneuver around. And nobody there is friendly okay maybe one person. Even the manager when you say there are no buggies she says what do you want me to do about it not a good place to go to

Unfortunately since they remodeled everything on the shelves is always out of stock. They changed to be a market and now they cannot keep up with everything. Staff is courteous and friendly always helpful just need to send more stock to this store

This store is under new management and the manager is great! Very friendly greets every customer. Always willing to help. Store is the cleanest I’ve ever seen it in months! I assume it’s since the new manager took over. Always find what I’m looking for at a descent price. Staff is friendly and this place is always busy no matter the time or day! I have coworkers and family that shop there and they prefer it to other locations in Lakeland.

Place always smells inside but prices are low. Employees are nice but service is slow. Store can be messy at times. Isles are to narrow. Usually buy coke when on sale. Soaps and shampoo. Sometimes pizza if in sale. Half off seasonal stuff a good deal also.

Shelves were mostly empty. Every item I scanned in store via the app, that item showed up as not in stock at this location. And when I went to check out, there were FOUR registers and at least that many employees working the floor, but only ONE register open. Wouldn't be too bad except the line to check out ended over half way back through the store. Was my first and last time going here. Especially when the lady in line behind me verified that empty shelves and long lines are the standard for this store. :(

Bait and Switch! I see some specials on their website using their store location, go and pick up the items, then they tell me they dont honor the pay at Register option on their app or the prices, on their app with their store as location. Completely illegal. Never shopping there again.

I truly can't stand shopping at this Dollar general ! The staff doesn't like to help, it LITERALLY always has one ONE register open and the line always goes down the aisle no matter what time you go. It's just so annoying 🙄 to shop here. If I could I would give them zero stars

Love the prices, selection, and staff. However if you do not feel like being besieged by tweekers then you should shop elsewhere. I am usually hit up for money twice while visiting here. Once upon entering and again on my way to the car. I understand this happens on the outside of the building and therefor may be outside of the employees vision. But the four scruffy men playing harmonica with their equally scruffy dog are hard to miss. Especially when they are asking you to buy them beer.

Out of most dollar generals in Polk County this one has been the best one ytd. Its usually very relaxed an clean. Sometimes its hectic with long lines an truck deliveries out on the floor; but its never been a bad experience.

I love the store.. Its changed alot.. Michelle the mgr is very serious about keeping the beggers away.. They could be a little more organized but other than great deals and I always find what i am looking for... Got my daughter 2 pairs of shoes marked down for 50¢ a pair.. Just awesome

I have been in the store several times and always spend money. Each time I have asked to use the restroom and it is always out of order. I dont believe they are out of order. Where do the workers go? Today I asked again to use the restroom cause my granddaughter had to go and I was told the same thing again!! It want happen again cause I want go back in there...and nor will my family...

It was busy and the line was long. I just about left without purchasing my gain pods. She never called for help but I never saw any help either. They are usually friendly and can tell you where you can find something.

This store was awesome.. I had items that had already been ringed up, The lady in the store called for help so that I may run out to the car and find my debit card. Way to go!!!

Same old same old,but just more expensive now. Only go to McDonald's when nothing else is open or close.The food doesn't taste nearly as good as it used to I don't know what they've changed but something's just different about McDonald's now. Much prefer Burger King

I really love this store by me. The employees are kind, helpful and professional.They carry a product I have been searching for and that made me especially glad. It is Delmonte Sloppy Joe sauce. It is much better than Manwich, in my family's opinion. It is a pleasure to visit this store onbCombee Road just north of US Hwy 92 (Eastside of Lakeland, FL).

This place is a dump. The old man Dan that works there should not be in customer service. He could not figure out coupons for my wife so he got mad snatched all her products and threw them behind him and said screw this I'm not doing it. He treated her so badly she came home crying.

That's my favorite Dollar General, I lived right up the street from it. It was our store to go to all of the time. The LADIE'S ARE SO SWEET AND HELPFUL. I MISS THEM AND THE STORE. BUT, I'LL BE BACK SOON. IT'S AUGUST 11,2018 AND I'M BACK AND GLAD TO BE.

Ive been shopping there daily for years i stopped shopping there for a while was very stressful especially with the woman manager at night shes very rude asking her a question is very scary she will answer rudely or not at all!! but returned to the store last night Wow theres a big difference wondering if theres new management someone name charles very pleasant, wonderful customer service felt very good being greeted by him, store looks way cleaner more organized im not sure what the young mans name is who worked in register last night but is also is very helpful great customer service ive always had good experience with him, definitely will start shopping there again👍

Great dollar stand items. Various items "name brand" in a lot of cases for only a dollar each. Easy to get to and lots of parking spaces. A down home country atmosphere
