I work for Tropical Harbor Estates and we had an event and choose Publix catering for our food! Heather at the Deli was exceptional, she handled all communications and she was a pleasure to deal with and her trays were fresh and beautiful. The bakery was polite as they assisted us with a change at the last minute on our part they were top notch and the cakes were delicious! Then the seafood dept Jeffery was on point and on time with his shrimp platters and boy oh boy were they a big hit with our crowd! We will absolutely order from Publix again.Thank you again

I had a nice experience today with a young man named John in produce that helped me pick out the perfect avocado for dinner tonight. Kudos to John!! He was kind and helpful with a smile.

What an amazing experience- This store is always fabulous, and the staff is always super friendly and extremely helpful, but Ohhhhhh....Let me tell you about their Subs!!!I kept hearing how much better a Publix sub was over that yellow and green sandwich shop down the road, but I never really believed it.I was like "Come on ... How much different can a sandwich be...really?!?" 🤨Well, today I found out!!To be honest, I was a little disappointed at first. I ordered their "Turkey Sub"-see the pic- it's actually Vegan❤️ (yay, and THANK YOU!), but they didn't have all the ingredients they needed, so I decided to go instead with their vegetarian selection, the "Spicy Falafel".O...M...G... There are just no words to say how wonderful everything was!This sweet little lady who was creating my sandwich went so far out of her way to be sure everything was just how I wanted it. I've never seen someone so meticulous, a true sandwich artist, being sure everything was just perfect.From the amazing, fresh baked whole wheat roll to the spicy, delicious Falafel and Tatszuki sauce, the Hummus with Cucumber, Tomato, Spinach, Hot Peppers...just beautiful, super fresh, yummy veggies all over.... everything was sooooh mouthwatering-ly good!This wasn't just a sandwich, it was a delicious, wonderful experience that I hope to be repeating many times.Again- It is such a true joy to have some nice vegan and vegetarian options- I really appreciate your taking the lead on this, here and in your grocery section.Thanks and I will look forward to seeing you soon! 🙋🏼‍♀️

As always, Publix is on point. I travel all across the country on a daily basis (truck driver) and I feel Publix is the best chain in the US. Highlands is my local store, and I have never had a less than pleasant & professional experience.

I love this Publix. It doesn't feel like a big corporate grocery store but instead feels like a small town grocery store except it's big and has a lot of things. It has everything you need and more.They have great two for one specials as well because there's a couple bins that have various items that are two for one which I really like.The people who work there are amazing when it comes to customer service and being friendly.I've been there three times now and every single time the people there are so nice and friendly that work there.From the customer service counter to the person at the cashier to the people that bag your groceries You can't find nicer and more friendlier people.I really like this grocery store..

I went shopping this afternoon with a gift card given to me by a friend to help me out. I am disabled and she tries to take me somewhere when she can. It said $100 on the jacket that it was in. I left it in the car and forgot. We shopped seperately. I tried to keep track of my purchases. My total was $54 almost. I asked the cashier did I have a balance left on the card and she said no and threw it away or whatever. I came home wondering and went over the receipt. Saw at the bottom of of the receipt it showed I still has $46.29 left. I called the store and talk to someone in customer service. I told her the cashiers name and she went to check the garbage and came back and said it wasn't there. And immediately that there was nothing that can be done! So I asked that just means I am out of the money? She said, yes and no apology or anything. This is ridiculous! Very poor attitude and customer service. 🙄

I have never had any type of bad experience in this store. The employees have always been super helpful and courteous. I buy in bulk from here ALOT. sometimes up to $500. Several buggies loaded to the max. I have never heard anyone of the cashiers ever make a negative comment. There always very positive, a pleasure to speak with while their ringing me up. Often, speaking of the Lord. Telling me as I do them.. to "have a blessed day." This country seems to be loosing this type of positive interaction and moral code. So for me.. shopping at publix "is always a pleasure" Their not the cheapest market but their interaction with me and store cleanliness as well as orderliness keeps me coming back. Their deli section and cooked products, chicken and such are meaty and not some cheap drum or wing you'd get from a bar. For me, Publix is a classy market.

I have shopped at different Publix Supermarkets (Macon Ga. sandwich area is exceptional) and the one in Lake Placid, Fl by far is the worst!!! The seafood always has a strong odor and color difference, especially on the salmon. There’s an older woman who works in that section and wiped her nose on her jacket sleeve and had the nerve to ask “ What can I get you?” I said absolutely nothing. On a positive note, the gentleman in that section is ALWAYS pleasant and goes out of his way to make sure you’re satisfied…. I think his name is Jeffrey.

This Publix is large and offers a great selection of products, I always find what I need. The staff is very friendly. However, the men's bathroom could be cleaner. I would recommend more attention to this detail.

I was in town for a spartan race. I always shop at publix and this one was great. I bought a mini cast iron skillet to use in my room along with some food.I'm never let down shopping at publix.

The quality here has really been getting worse. Many out of date and expired items! It even looked like some of the dates had been torn off of these hotdogs. I am very disappointed with Publix in Lake Placid. In addition, these pictures show how they put up all the deli and all the seafood long before closing. This was almost two hours before closing, everything is put up, why are you open then?Furthermore there is also an associate that works in the dairy/deli area, who continually is rude and always in the way of customers! He refuses to help senior citizens or be friendly.

What a great store to shop for groceries. Went on a Sunday night and yet plenty of help on and shelves were fully stocked. Meat case and deli still offering plenty of choices. Just the right bogos for me tonight and a fresh pumpkin pie for dessert. It’s my store! #stevensleavin

First time at a Publix. Clean and organized. Only problem I had is I am legally blind I mistakenly went 10 items or less lane. The cashier did not say anything to me. I would have moved. The cashier did feel the need to make comments about me to other customers. Loud enough for person drove me the store heard and they triedTo explain to cashier I was blind and made a mistake. I was embarrassed.

They always make it their mission to say hello and to make sure your experience is very pleasant. This is the only place we shop for our family. The best quality foods and shopping experience. I would recommend this Publix with no problem.

Always good deals, Buy One Get One Free. Love the savings.I have a long history shopping at Publix Supermarkets. They say, "Where Shopping Is a Pleasure." This store for the most times is always stocked up with what you go shopping for. This store is Kept clean and well managed, love the Deli Delicious sandwiches and more. Good prices and selections in the produce department, meats are very fresh with a wide selection to choose from. Go shopping at this Publix store and experience the experience for your self. No changes, more of the same for what we have come to expect. I like the fresh fish sold and more. Ask for a friendly young man by name, "Cameron"... he will serve you very well with a smile and LOL 😆. Regards, take care. ❤

This Publix has the nicest pharmacist that you can ask for.The store is mostly well stocked.The only problem I have run into is reaching something.I don't really want to bother people that are shopping but sometimes I cannot find anybody close to where I am.A lot of times people will just help with out being asked.I am small but I cannot help that and I have to use a walker so a lot of people will just let me go on,which is nice.There was only one problem, that I have run into and it's not Publix's fault but people stare at me in the parking lot.Sorry I didn't ask for M.S. but it's here and I'm doing my best to do things on my own. Please don't stare.
