I stopped in for clothes pins picked up a few other items, employees were very pleasant even though they didn't have my clothes pins I did enjoy my stop there at the store I will shop there again.

I haven’t been to a Family Dollar store in a while. They have some pretty cool clothes there. The store was well organized and the employees were very friendly too. I think I might shop there instead of Dollars General which hasn’t been very organized lately.

Greeted by a new_ employee being trained. She was pleasant and seems to be happy to be there. I sure hope so because there are couple of other employees that I just can't stand because of their attitude and just the ugh feeling of being at work there and takes it out on the customers. That is what kept me out of the store from shopping for so long. Maybe have shopped here 5xs maybe in the past year. But hoping the new employee is here to stay. Will shop here more often. Thanks for the kindness.

Ed the cashier was absolutely rude, bounced around tapping the pen on the counter while the customer is trying to get it changed out of her purse, and then called me a scammer when I tried to return merchandise with the receipt and the tags still on. He smashed the receipt out of my hand, it’s loud rude and does not belong there and absolutely disgusting he told me to go and write a review if I didn’t like it, so here I am !.

I recommend no one who decide to shop here get more then one transaction of cash back. According to the male older man in this store my husband and I look like we are up to suspicious activities. We just need to do cash back twice due to me having to go to work and him needing cash. Will not be shopping in there ever again.

This Family Dollar store has the nicest employees. They are always busy but ready to help you at any time. The store is always clean and well stocked. I will continue to be a regular customer!

If I could rate them a big fat 0 I would. Very rude so called manager. Thinks everyone is Stealing How does this company allow this to go on. I see more and more people saying the same thing about this one store. They really need people that care about their job and people.

The manager at this store walked around the store after me and racially profiled me and when something dropped out of my hand she automatically ran to me and accused me of stealing the product i threw everything down and asked for the manager she rudely said she was me an anyone i know will not be using this store such a shame used to be a good store

I never lived in a small town but after 2 years, I solely believe that even though it's part of a conglomerate chain it serves it's service in small town AMERICA, Lake Placid dollar has become a home away from home.
