Blake park is a great park for families and their dogs. It has wonderful shade trees. On Saturdays, 7 to 1, there is a market and you can buy veggies, clothes and lots of other items. The park is clean and there is lots of parking.

What a gem of a community park. Attended a car show and swap meet. Best kept secret there is a super organized used denim pants and shorts vendor there each Saturday. A must shopping stop.

Great park ! Pet friendly with nice neighbors' surroundings . Bathrooms were clean (one bath for each gender), and there were a lot of families having fun in playground areas . Very familiar

And yes, Feaster's Sweets was there, had to try the butter cookie with the chocolate and it is delicious. This place is in Lake Helen, Fl. Feater's Sweets is a local Home made sweets business. Here you get some of the best crafts/products from the locals with a little history to take with you. Check it out one Saturday, shoot may just run into Feaster's Sweets, try them out.

The park is still a wonderful place for kids and family picnics. I wish they still had grills for cooking. We noticed new tables but they need a water fountain and still need grills and a gate to the children's play area by the pavlion. Now they have the tables chained 15-20 ft apart, which is inconvenient for large family gatherings. Nothing much has chclose.They still need grills and a couple of tables close to each other so large family groups can be close.Playground: Very nice, and kids love itRestrooms: There's not a lot of positive aspects to them other than they are there but always filthy.Dog-friendliness: Folks bring their pets which is fine as long as they are on a leash.Picnic area: Again, nice pavilion and nice tables, but very far apart from each other.

Very nice park. Well lite and clean. I didn't see any hooligans doing bad things like I do at all the other Parks so that was a good change of pace my children had fun. They did run all their energy out so I was grateful for that and they all slept good that night thanks for a nice park in the area. Whoever looks after this park should get a bonus because they do a good job.

Every Saturday multiple vendors gather to sell a variety of goods. There is food and beverages available. One vendor in particular, Amanda, sells jams and jellies, apple and pear butter, pickeld items and salsas and even some crocheted items weekly. It's a nice way to spend a Saturday morning and the vendors are all friendly.

The Market in the Park is great on Saturdays! I've found some unusual treasures there. It's a wonderful small town experience especially on a gorgeous day. I'm a huge fan of Nydia's Empenadas food truck and always try to buy something from them when I can. I prefer browsing the goods here rather than dealing with the crowds at the fairgrounds.

We visited for the first time when a local food truck posted on there social media and couldn't believe we didn't know about this place sooner! It's definitely a hidden jem and they do events. Such a beautiful hidden gem!

Market in the Park @ Blake Park is a great shopping experience. Every Saturday rain or shine from 8am to 1pm. So much to see with over 60+ unique vendor's offering clothing, food, sweet treats, toys, local honey, pet products, toiletries, plants, hand made goods, produce, seasonal items, gifts and and much more.

Decent flea market here on the weekends. Lots of different items to look at and buy. Some spots are directly in the sun and very hot but still worth the visit. They have fenced In areas to let your dog run and pooper pick up stations as well. Very nice little place.

Great place to purchase various items and veggies at Troy's Veggie Stand, good prices and quality. So come out to Lake Helen, the Gem of Florida, every Saturday between the hours of 8am to 1pm. They also had their annual Antique Car show last Saturday, it is held the last Saturday of April. So come on out and enjoy yourself. They also have various food vendors, fresh made Empanada's, rice, hot dogs, cold pop and water. A great place to meet old and new friends. 🥟🍰🍅

Went for the stress buster 5k, had a great time. Great parking, nice park, terrific people. Fantastic event. Can't wait to do it again next year.
