Visited the store to buy dog treats. I work for a Law Enforcement agency and we loss 3 K-9's. So for our Thanksgiving luncheon I wanted to honor our K-9's. The cashier was very helpful and nice with letting me know about thier sale that they had going on thank you so much for your help.

Had everything we needed. Staff was ok. Fed the feral kitties outside in the parking lot. 5 kitties but only 1 was fixed. Anybody want to help trap and take to operation catnip? Please….

The people are always nice. This is a smaller store, but it's well stocked and clean. I prefer going here than the ones in Jacksonville and orange park.

Been there twice so shame on me. Grooming dept is mediocre at best. Overpriced for a wash. Say they'll do extra stuff and then they don't do it. Always say it's going to be about an hour and a half to 2 hours so you set up things to do in the meantime and I'll call you 20 minutes later to come pick up your animal. It's happened twice so it's on me for thinking it would be different and giving the second chance.

My relationship with PetSmart has come to an end. Last week I called for an appointment for grooming my dog, which was for this morning. On the phone, I asked for a quote and was given $65. My Aussie has been in to be groomed fairly often. I was asked what had to be done to our pup and asked for the usual. I thought having a file on the dog meant the groomers knew what they were doing. Apparently there is NO historic on the dog and what is done. In any case, I was told to initial and sign a waiver not realizing that in fine print a totally different price was indicated. The amount I had to pay was $90. This is totally inacceptable. The price should be reconfirmed and made transparent by the groomer before the signature of the waiver. The price was NOT brought to my attention. « Just initial here, and here and sign here ». When I brought this to the attention of the supervisor, she showed through her attitude that the customer is quite accessory to a transaction and refused any renegotiation of the price. Apart for a quick trim on the back legs and bottom, the price is truly not justified. But that’s okay. Your supervisor said that I refused the negotiation. I asked her WHAT negotiation ? : there was none. I have been in the commercial realm all my working life and I would NEVER allow a customer to walk out dissatisfied. There is ALWAYS a solution.This supervisor, however, was perfectly satisfied with my walking out dissatisfied. I will no longer return to your store again, and I will be advertising this incident abundantly to all I know.

Courtney did an absolutely superb grooming job on my giant fluffy polar bear of a dog! (Great Pyrenees). I was so nervous because it was his first ever groom but he couldn’t have been better hands! He looks and smells fabulous. Thanks so much!

We are new to the area ,and had hoped to establish bi-monthly grooming services, for our fur-baby . Our first few visits were good, my fur baby is a full coat Shih-Tzu, so I only require the Brush and Bath service. On my last visit, we were charged a dematte fee, which I felt was unreasonable. Firstly, the groomers access your pet prior to service so this should not be a surprise charge , after the pet has been groomed. On yesterdays visit, same thing occurs, my pet is accessed for mattes, told, " he is fine", then at pick-up I'm told there was a de-matte fee added. , as I verbally professed my feedback regarding the issue, Jordan " disconnects our call", and I am called back by Alyssa, who identifies herself as the manager . She too, kept interrupting me as I was speaking, which only further fueled my disgust! My fur-baby was wet, face was sticky and clammy and his under belly reeked of urine! The store manager did refund our payment for the service, but, I was livid and heartbroken of how my fur-baby had been mistreated ! None of the above mentioned PetSmart personnel apologized for their actions , nor, were concerned with my feelings. In fact, when I stated that I would not be bringing my fur baby back for services, Allysa said" great,"! I have had similar experiences at the Lady Lake, FL, and Leesburg, FL PetSmart locations . In my opinion, these groomers do not like to serve pets with long coats, their prices suggest that they are capable , but their products and actions clearly tell a different story. This is the reason I have groomed my fur baby since he was a puppy, l. It's been my experience that the groomers I've had the misfortune to groom my fur baby , prefer to cut him bald , if they find a matte and I'm not having it! This is also why I purchased Chris Christenson grooming products and have educated myself on how to use various grooming tools. I'm still very uncomfortable with expressing the annal glands and nail clipping, which is the only reason I utilize grooming services for my fur-baby. I'm DONE! I will take him to a veterinary for those 2 services . I hope this helps another fur- parent that may have had a similar experience. You can do it, too, their are several YouTube videos to help you . Your fur-baby will thank you .

If you’re wanting to buy a fish don’t go here! Went in with a very excited 3 year old about getting a fish only to be told that we couldn’t buy a fish unless we have a tank with a filter AND heater AND it had to be a 10 gallon tank. For a fish no bigger than a quarter. Would not even sell me a beta fish even though they also sell beta fish tanks that do not have a filter or heater. Not to mention the beta fish are literally in plastic cups for who knows how long waiting to be purchased.

Got everything I needed here. Needed new tags for my dogs. Got nice matching ones with front and back engraving. Also got some nice new matching leashes and a big self supplying water bowl. A little pricey, but at least it’s quality.

We love pet smart!!! We can go in and get new tots cool new toys! If we need medicine we can get that there to! They have allot of different types of medicines in all regards to your your animals needs! Flea pills and great bath soap! Love the people! Love the selection!! Hands down

I recently placed an order online for two 42 pound kitty litters and two 16 ounce kitty treats. The items weren't available to pick up at the local store, so I had to choose the shipping option. One of the shipment boxes contained one 42 pound kitty litter and the two kitty treats.The box was stopped by FedEx in Jacksonville and returned to petsmart as damaged. I had to make 3 phones over 10 days to finally get my order shipped again.The box arrived by FedEx, obviously damaged and leaking kitty treats. I opened the box at the driver's request. It was both the FedEx driver and my opinion that the original damaged box had been heavily re-taped and shipped back to me as is.I didn't let the driver return the box because it was obvious that petsmart would just cancel my order at that point. The litter was fine. It was an overlarge box and the kitty litter slid around and smashed the kitty treats.I had purchased all items with a sale, petsmart points and a $20 discount coupon. I took photos of the crushed and scattered kitty treats in the shipping box with large tears and emailed them to petsmart.I received a notice that petsmart would not reship the kitty treats. They issued a refund of the final price of the kitty treats after discounts, which would only cover a repurchase of ONE box of treats. No apology made.I had been a loyal customer of PetSmart for 15 years. I don't know what happened to what used to be a good company. I won't shop from them again.

It's a good company to work for. The staff is friendly. You will learn something new everyday.The manager is by the book on everything. If you plan on working in the salon, just know it's fun, but it's also very hard because of all the policies that are in place. The policies are there because of the liabilities they have with the pets. This location aims for perfection and does not deviate from policy. They have a decent employee discount. But as I have said, great company to work for, but it is challenging and hard. So be prepared to be on top of your game when working here.And good luck.

Signed up for Puppy training paid for 1 private lesson and the group sessions to socialize my 13-16month old Rottweiller puppy. Staff very eager to offer services. The first trainer never called me. The 2nd trainer was good we did the 1 private & 1 group session with her then I had to travel to Florida regarding hurricane Idalia I was gone 2-3 weeks . I was told we could reschedule his training when I got back. The day I got back the trainer told me to come get a refund she was no longer training she was moving on to something else……she referred me to a trainer at PetCo in Sterling VA , however, I refused. This is the 2nd PetCo I’ve tried to get training for my pup at ,the first was In Lake City Florida. If you don’t have by proper training available don’t offer it and certainly don’t have your staff offer it so eagerly. I will go somewhere reliable. I spent a lot of money at PerCo on the programs and everything and now I will not step back in the door of a PetCo.

Went to PetSmart for tropical fish. I was disappointed in the selections that were available but still got a nice assortment. Sales rep that helped me was friendly and answered all my questions and was very quick with collecting the fish I picked out. Cashier was also very friendly. Good experience.
