I believe a lot of these reviews are fake as heck, Every time i come in this store they never have my jet alerts. it's so crammed with boxes on the floor. they always have some kid that looks 16 that isn't a official employee working there. This store just needs to be closed , Lake butler isn't made for big cooperate business. and on top of that The line is crazy and only one person always ringing every one up. never again am I'm coming back to this one or any dollar general. there just as bad as wal mart

The aisles are always junky and crowded with carts loaded with stock that needs to be shelved. Always. I usually have to move one to get down the aisles. The prices are pretty good. Just wish they'd clean up the store.

Can always find something different at this store compared to the others. Store is normally cleaner and better stocked than others in the area too

Isles never clear. Out of stock alot. Dirty inside and out. Great employees, but not manager. He's not sincerely friendly or helpful. Does seem to labor himself, only see him at register as backup.

This is a great Dollar General!It was spotlessly clean and EVERYTHING was stocked!We just moved here and the DG around our corner is AWFUL NOTHING is EVER stocked and the aisles are blocked with items that need to stocked on shelves but never are. It was worth the extra 8miles to drive into Lake Butler from Worthington Springs to shop!

Overall one of the Better stores in Baker. It's very convenient & had a huge variety. I always Love their Clearance racks they have outside & the shelf they have inside.

I'm going to give this store 3 stars because I do stop in here all the time. If you live in the Lake Butler area, your options for stopping in and grabbing certain types of items are limited. The Dollar General, CVS, Spires IGA, and Family Dollar (which is awful) are the only stores in the area. This particular Dollar General is not bad, but for the longest time the management was really bad. I believe they recently switched managers so I will change my rating if it improves. The store itself is usually fairly clean, the restrooms are clean, the parking lot is decently sized with handicapped spaces, and there is a Redbox kiosk located outside the store.One of the main issues is that they are usually understaffed and being that so many people stop here (limited area options), the wait in line is ungodly most of the time. There's almost always just one register open and it's not unusual to have a line that stretches back into the aisles. I have waited 15+ minutes to check out on many many occasions.The other main issue is restock. With this being a popular location, they are out of stock more often than not. The inventory and reorder was done very poorly by previous management. For example, I buy Vicks sinus spray and Dollar General is the only local chain that carries this item. They ran out in June of 2017 and the empty space (with the price sticker) sat empty and they did not restock this item for 3 months. I turned it into a game of checking everytime that I went in just to see if it had been restocked yet. It was the end of September before 3 boxes were restocked into the Vicks spot. Those boxes were gone in a week or so, and as of now (Nov 2017), this spot on the shelf is still empty again lol.The above is just one example though. There are many items that are not restocked in a timely manner and their shelf spaces will sit empty for extensive periods of time. That being said, it is a good store to visit if you want to try to grab an item or 2 quickly (as long as it's in stock) if you live in the area. Even with the sometimes long waits to checkout, it beats driving 10 miles or more to the next nearest town to shop. Plus if there's something you can't find, then the CVS right up the road will usually work as a buffer to keep you from having to drive out of the way if you're busy.

Maybe it will be better after the remodel. Most of he girls working there are in need of serious retail training but the couple of them that aren't clueless are great!

Fairly stocked but there is always a line, usually at least 10 people waiting in line. Employee turnover is high, so training is always in progress therefore checkout is slow. Stock is sitting in isles waiting to be shelved.

I love DG, but I hate the lines. There are 3 registers, but rarely are more than 1 open. I have NEVER seen all 3 open, even though there are 2 LONG lines. Often when 2 REALLY need to be open, there is only 1. Otherwise, I would have given at least a 4star, if not 5. Also, I am almost 50yrs old, I can buy liquor with no ID, yet I have to show my ID to get a pack of cigarettes from DG. Really?!! I understand that y'all need to card folks, but a 50yr old woman!!? Come on!?

Prices are great. Needs air conditioning. Too hot. Food is spoiling. Chicken cans bursting. A Starbucks box of kurig cups was missing a cup.

They seem to be remodeling but over all it's a good store .. could use more people or staff waited in check out for at least 10 min ppl behind us walked out ...1 register is not enough .....
