I love this diner. I’ve been here on various occasions and the service is always great. I ordered myself a country fried steak meal and it was delicious. I did not have to wait to be seated (I arrived around 10:30am). I got a table outside to enjoy the weather. They were starting to get busy so I got there at a good time. The servers took my drink order and respectfully gave me time to decide what I wanted to eat. Once I ordered my meal and received it, they periodically came over to my table to make sure I didn’t need anything else. Over all between the food, the service, and the atmosphere I rate this diner a 10 out 10.

The waitresses & cooks are fast & friendly. I had a glass of milk, water, skillet (has browns potatoes under scrambled eggs with gravy & melted cheddar cheese with a side of white toast. My mom had eggs with spinach & grits, coffee, & water. I will come back some day in near future.Parking: They have many parking spaces by their diner.

We like this place so much we meet others here on Thursday mornings. The coffee is almost on the table when we sit!! The people that work here make you feel at home. The food is consistently good with minimal wait time. The prices are reasonable, especially in comparison of other breakfast menus. Very friendly diner.Parking: Parking spaces are spacious and numerous with reserved handicap spaces by front door.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids menu and plenty of high chairs available. The staff is wonderful with the children.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to contend with, a wheelchair can fit amply at most tables.

Went driving around and thought I've never eaten hear so i stopped in for a meal. This is 100% for sure a dinner that is good. Not amazing but really good. The prices are on point and the staff is attentive. I especially like my waitress because she stepped right up when i asked her to surprise me with my 2nd side. I'd recommend this place for sure for a quick meal.

I love fish and eggs for breakfast. I've been all over south Florida for the last month and a half and this is the best grilled fish and eggs breakfast I have experienced. Great 👍 service too.Parking: Nice wide spots

In a town that nearly says, " Hello and thanks for visiting," I was not surprised this place would be a hit!!! Even if you're nearly the only place to eat in town, you still gotta do it right!!! I believe Lake Alfred Diner is doing it right. I was a bit disappointed we were not able to stop back in while we were in town. I can assure you that next time we are in the area! Enjoy!!!

It is your typical diner. I dined in for breakfast. I had grits, eggs, bacon, and toast. The coffee is good and strong. Everything was cooked as requested. The servers were both very nice and attentive. A friend got the corn fritters to go and the person receiving them said they were very good. There are somewhat limited dining options in Lake Alfred, and I was in town for work for the day. They are conveniently located on the main highway with easy access from both sides of the split highway.

Don't go here it's not that much of a savings their prices. Can't cook eggs right, water is terrible unfiltered makes tea and coffee have sulfur taste. Waitresses are not attentive and there is one especially who basically slops your plates on the table with the most disgusted with life face on. Never checked back on us never brought check. Third time we are done what a shame needs new management.

Work friend suggested this place. Was pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. Seems very fresh, from the bread to the homemade coleslaw. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu options. Seems very clean, slightly outdated decor. People wore mask and some didn't, majority of them did. I didn't see anybody wearing a mask when they got up and moved around, like to the bathroom or leaving. Very hometown cooking, was great.

Ate here for the first time on Monday, February 26th. Sat outside enjoying the fantastic weather. Kenzee was our server and she took wonderful care of us. Wow! What a fantastic menu with daily specials - except Tuesday when they are closed. (Free desert on Sundays, LOL). Very fair prices and lots of selections. We highly recommend this local restaurant, and we definitely will be back.

5 Stars all the way. On my first day headed to work at new Lake Alfred Government Center building, i wasnt dure of drive-time from Bartow Citrus Highlands area. So what better choice than to leave early and try Lake Alfred Diner.Drive to diner: 25 minutesServer took order: 2 minutes after seatedEGGS, Hashbrowns, Toast and Sausage was Served at table in just 5 minutes after ordering.:PRICELESSPERFECT OVER EASY EGGS.Very nice, and attentive Server.This wont be my last time here.

Came to visit my father and mother from Orlando and they brought us to Lake Alfred Dinner Inc and everything was wonderful. From the waiter, to the food and the owner were all great. I had the ultimate omelet with hash browns and toast, I loved that when I was at the half point of eating my omelet, the omelet was still nice and hot. The place was very busy on a Friday morning. I recommend this diner.

A definite locals spot. Quick service, specials posted at entry, seat yourself and breakfast all day if you wish. Outdoor seating adds to available places to sit. The efficiency of the staff allowed for quick turnover during the lunch hour. Well done. Prices are very reasonable.

Local family joint. Food Is all freshly made and came out hot!! Typical american eatery.They did have an amazing hollandaise sauce! Seemed like a lot of locals frequent there. They have a massive "Ham Steak" id recommend.

It's a small town diner, that's all I need to say.Had the braised ribs with sauerkraut, exactly as it's supposed to taste. All for $10.Go see for yourself but not open on Tuesdays.

The atmosphere is homey and I like that. The food is very good, it's staple diner food but made well. Our waitress was nice and friendly as well as helpful. I love the outside dining area. We will definitely be back again.

We’ve lived here for over 3 years and this weekend was our first time stopping by this gem of a place for breakfast. Great food, great atmosphere, awesome collection of brunch items, and the coffee was fantastic too. Our servers were on point! I loved that dogs were allowed outside on the patio too. The food was delicious and served quite quickly. We will be back!
