This was our third visit to this wonderful veterinarian and I can't recommend them enough! The Dr. Goes out of her way for the client and I really appreciate that ! The entire staff is amazing from the front desk to whoever cleans the place!In a world where several hour waits for almost any appointment anywhere has become the norm,this place runs on time! Oh , and the prices are reasonable!My only regret is not finding them sooner !

Went at the request of a friend to accompany her with her pet to help her understand a new diagnosis and long term care of senior pet with diabetes. This is a very clean, well staffed office who are very caring, patient, and understanding while trying to comprehend a complex new illness. I highly recommend.

The team is always friendly and welcoming. We never have a long wait to start our appointments. The vets and vet techs take great care of our dogs and you can tell animal care and wellbeing is their passion. Love seeing the office cats each visit as well

Best repro vet in the state! From my first phone call to schedule the appointment for my dog, to the actual procedure, the entire staff was very kind and accommodating. Listened to my concerns and had no problem explaining every step and answering every question I had. Dr. Laura is not only an amazing vet, but also so kind and clearly loves all of her furry patients. Huge thanks to both Dr. Laura and Johnna for making our visits there so wonderful, you ladies are amazing! 10/10 recommend Lake Alfred Animal Hospital for all your veterinary needs!

Our dogs are very much members of our family, not just pets. Dr. Laura has been wonderful with our senior girl Lucy, as well as taking excellent care of our Minnie. I am very confident in her expertise and very pleased with her gentle and genuine concern for our girls. I have to drive from Winter Garden for her care, but she and her staff have been worth every mile. I am so thankful Minnie’s breeder introduced us to this practice. Moving from out of state, finding a Vet who really loves their job, does it well, loves our dogs, and communicates their medical needs while respecting my background as an RN, and my daughter’s as a former Vet tech, has been quite a search. We are truly grateful to have found this practice. We miss Dr. McDaniel, but feel she has left her practice in very capable hands. I am sure they show the same professionalism and care to all their animal clients. Even through a pandemic, they have been great!

Both Rose and Dr. de-Valle were thorough in explaining Oliver's age (a few weeks younger than I'd thought as evidenced by his teeth), vaccination needs (a slight delay would be necessary due to being so young), and treatment for his eyes (Terramycin ointment). Rose's explanation of the ideal age for Ollie to be neutered was impressive and thought-provoking because the best-interests, the quality of life explanation for a male cat, well that was the first time I'd ever heard that. It really made me think. The patience they demonstrated while listening to events in Ollie's 7-week life, such as his birth in the engine of a Chevy SUV, paw injury from a cat hammock (hanging elastic toy), and harmonious relations with two older female cats was genuine. Huge gratitude. The interior office waiting area is incredibly cozy. The outdoor area is very inviting, so much so, that it reminded me of a place where people go to lower their blood pressure and have a Zen experience. The front desk personnel is kind and attentive. Their "Kitten Care"" plan brought me to their office. Best all-inclusive kitten exam, test, and vaccination package out of the approximately 15 offices I'd called in Polk County. They excel at the human relations of animal care! So happy with this first visit to Lake Alfred Animal Hospital that I'm thinking my other cats may have a new veterinary animal hospital as well. Thank you LAAH.

I brought my Giant Schnauzer for a progesterone level. I mentioned that Prim opened up the lower cabinet and devoured 2 bags of dog treats earlier that morning. I showed the doctor the picture of the bags on my iPhone thinking it was a bit comedic that Prim did that.Immediately, the doctor explained to my husband and me that there could be a possibility of pancreatitis due to the large amount of fat consumed and being a Giant Schnauzer breed.Prim was then given Apomorphine and vomited the stomach contents and then was given an antiemetic for nausea.Lake Alfred, which by the way, is not our vet but the breeders vet, possibly saved our Prim’s life by their expert knowledge, immediate action and compassion showed to us during this episode..All the vet techs, especially the one that was constantly checking on Prim, (we forgot her name) was excellent and so very concerned. She shared humorous stories about her Doberman and GSD that really helped to relieve our anxiety .Being a RN for over 41 years I must say that I was extremely impressed by the whole staff and if we were not 11/2 hours away we would definitely use Lake Alfred Animal Hospital!Thank you to everyone there for your expertise and commitment to animal medicine!Bonnie Parrish RN, M.Ed.

I drive past several vets to get here because they are so wonderful. From the moment you walk in, your greeted with staff who make you feel welcome and special. You can tell that everyone there loves your baby. Dr Laura is very thorough and knows her stuff. She is so kind to my girl when she is nervous. Their prices are fair and they are not pushy about unnecessary treatment. I always feel confident in the treatment and advice given. I feel my concerns regarding my pet is given full attention. 5 stars from me was very easy!

We enrolled our two puppies into an OFA study and had a very short window to get samples taken before they turned 6 months old. They worked us in on very short notice and were patient and gentle with our puppies. Dr. Del Valle was very insightful and professional. We also received excellent service from the front desk staff. We will be returning!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. They have been taking care of my boys for years and EVERYONE always goes above and beyond on EVERY visit. I drive 30 minutes out of my way and pass by many other clinics to bring my babies here. At a time when many places are short staffed and over stressed due to that fact, everyone here still has a great attitude and still take the time to make us feel like family and that they care. I'm very disappointed. You have an amazing practice. But what happened to it? We have been coming there for 12+ years and then starting 1 year ago, every time we called, we cant get an appt or appts are 1 month out. I guess loyalty means nothing these days.
