Very knowledgeable ppl however the surveillance cameras are a bit much. Short Indian guy here is not cool. Sorry had to say it. Keep in mind, your paying a premium bc the big box store is to far. Also the hours can be unpredictable

OMG I love this store! Everyone is so courteous and helpful ... so unlike Lowes and Home Depot. It is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. At Lowes the employees run and hide, but at Ace they greet you with a smile and ask what they can help you with.A lovely gentlemen loaded six bags of rocks for us on our cart (which would never happen at Lowes) and had them out front waiting for us when we checked out. He even offered to load them in our van.The bathrooms are always shiny clean. The store is always clean. The employees are always super nice and helpful.Thank you Ace!

Salesman came to me. Told him what I needed & he went & picked it up. He could have said what aisle the item was in - but he went & brought it to me. Service is still practiced in this store. I appreciated this. The personal "touch" . Old fashion Concept but still very much appreciated by an older person.

Basic Ace Hardware like any other.Employees seem to be nice and helpful unlike the bigger home improvement stores.I guess thats the difference between Hardware store and home impeovement centers...

I used to like going to this store but will never return. They don't care about customers and they don't stand behind their brand products.I purchased an Ace wheelbarrow, it broke on one edge and I haven't even used it yet. I took it back and they said they won't take it back. They won't accept returns and won't replace it. It's still within the 30 days return period but they just don't care. Ace products are just cheap trash.Before going back to this store, I had to go to another Ace store, in Bartow, for something else, I asked there and they said I could return it. I'm not sure if I have to have purchased it there but at least, they seem to care.The Lake Alfred store is definitely not worth the trip, stay away.

Not all of the employees are friendly. Cashier had a sour attitude from the moment you walk in the door. Floor personell doesn't pay attention to detail, so they can't be fully trusted to assist you in locating product. had to make multiple trips to get it right.

some of the staff very helpful. One of the employees giving me the address of another place where I could get what I was looking for and another employee (I think the owner) arrived and told him not to say any address, so not to help me.

Ace policy states any store can take a return within 30 days with the receipt but per manager pankit he refused. He even refused to look up policy or to even call customer service while i was present. Manger needs further training
