Having seen this store for a few years, finally decided to stop & visit. What a great surprise! Bright, well organized and spotless store with an unbelievable amount of products, essentially everything needed for the outdoors person; coolers to tents to socks to turkey calls, to firearms to electric bikes to jackets and so much more. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Very competitive prices. Looking forward to another visit real soon!

First time purchaser through this sporting goods store.I ordered online and was sent information that I had questions about.I called days ahead of time to inquire about their pickup process, as I've never purchased through them before. I was told by whomever answered, that all I needed was my driver's license, my concealed carry permit, and the email for the pickup, and to be there before 8pm. He assured me that it would be a painless process and a single trip, because I live an hour away.I don't get off work until after 6pm and was hoping to have plenty of time. I rushed through work today after receiving the pickup email and arrived before 7:30pm and was told that they close at 8pm and there wasn't enough time. I went through the paperwork part rather quickly and then he told me to come back another day. He didn't even attempt to try or anything. He made it obvious that he was leaving when they closed and I was not going to hold him up.Living this far away and working so late, I don't have a lot of extra time to come whenever I want.This was a very disappointing experience, and I will not order or purchase through this location again.A local FFL is the better option.

Terrible staff. Completely unprofessional and definitely not friendly or helpful. I purchased a shotgun online and when I went to the store to pickup my purchase, the employee added a $5.00 charge for a background check, which should have been included in the purchase price. I had to call customer service for a refund. I will never purchase from this store again!

I was excited to have a large outdoors store in the area but disappointed when I got there. A spotty selection of products at high prices and perhaps the most unpleasant store manager I've ever met in my life made for a poor shopping experience. Products were hung up haphazardly with tags and prices that did not match what was displayed. I asked for assistant from the store manager, who happened to be standing by the register, and was met with a crabby, rude, can't be bothered attitude that would be surprising in anyone but especially in a manager. The woman (blonde hair, middle-aged; I think her name was Pam) may have been having a really bad day, but in customer service, the customer should never know that. To top it off, later in the day I saw the exact same shotgun shells I bought at Sportsman's Warehouse in stock at a Walmart Supercenter down the road for $10 less per box! A second gauge I bought at SW was available in another brand, but not exactly the same, for half as much at that Walmart. I get that Wally World is a lower price point store, but charging twice as much at Sportsmans Warehouse seems like price gouging. What a disappointment.

Nice selection....but I think they compete with bass pro for highest prices in the industry. Don't go here looking for deals.Update. I recently visited again and was even more disappointed. Still no sales/deals to speak of and customer service is a 0/10. I was the only one in the store. I bought a few small items I needed. No one acknowledged me at all, even the guy who rang me up never said a word. He was absolutely silent during the transaction.... terrible. Changed my rating from a 4 to 2. Only reason you still get a 2 is because you sell fishing gear lol.

Good spot it's a 40 mile + drive for us to shop here but worth it.During my transaction was passed on to 2 other sales staff...consequently our military discount was not part of the final transaction. James helped make it right. Not only was it an ethical decision but the store got a few more visits outa me from it. Store stocks good assortment of items for shooting & reloading. Their clothing is a little on the proud side of things but guess there's some folks don't mind spending $$$$ on sports clothing...Thanx SMW.

They have a huge selection of firearms and ammo. The staff is very knowledgeable. I didn't visit any other departments in the store. But, as I walked through, it looked like they had a lot.

pretty disappointed on buying a TenPoint crossbow that was advertised on their website as being instock and marked as buy instore onlywasted my time over 2 hours to find they didnt have the item or none of their branch stores but it was on the website as being in several of the stores

I was waiting in line and another customer walks in for a return and the cash register lady Peggy immediately ignores me and takes the customer for a return when I was waiting in line. The returning customer skips the entire line and she doesn’t tell them to get in line or anything. After that I ask if they price match and she says no. Horrible customer service. I will be sticking with Basspro. Sportsman’s just lost a customer

Men at gun counter were very nice. Showed me a few pistols that I will be coming back for one in the future. Woman at the front was so nice and helpful for check out and questions. Great selection. Purchased Huk clothing on clearance. As well as hunting clothing. 5 stars

Sportsman’s Warehouse has seen some changes in the six years that I have been shopping at their stores. Supply chain issues, competition and growing their numbers of new stores have necessitated staffing reductions and available hours reduced based on store sales. That said, the stores do the best they can with what they have. 🙂

They advertise 5 pts per $1 spent, but then give ou ONLY 1 POINT per $1 spent. TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION. When asked about it, they say you'll have to argue that with corporate. They just lost me as a customer. I am not going to argue for entitled points every time I buy and they cheat.

Terrible customer service in the gun department. Called several times without anyone picking up in the gun department, called customer service for them to transfer me directly to the gun department. I had a simple question: Do you have this gun in stock? The gentleman went on a 10-minute dictation on how to use the website. Wouldn't let me get one word in, kept talking over me and was very condescending. He literally refused to do any part of his job and wanted me to do everything online so he would not have to move from his spot. I literally asked him. "Sir, I live over 2 hours away. I do not want to drive there if you do not have this gun available for me today. Can you please just turn around and see if it's on the shelf he said no, and you have to use the website. Then he literally said, "I'm going to look up a gun I want on our website to show you step by step on how to do it." I asked, "Can you look up the gun? I want to see if it's there, no. I'm going to look up the gun I want and let you know how to do it." Spoke to the manager afterward. Hopefully, this employee will be retrained on how to treat a customer and to get off his lazy posterior and to do his job. Will do my best to avoid shopping at the store ever again.

I love shopping at Sportsman's but today I was disappointed that there wasn't anyone available to offer some local fishing tackle information. There wasn't anyone working in the fishing department and when I asked for assistance I was told the fishing department person was not working.

Awful customer service. Husband interested in new rod & reel. Not one person to help him where he could ask questions. Ended up purchasing at Bait & Tackle in Leesburg.

Tried to purchase a rod and reel tonight. I waited for 30 mins while they looked for the keys to get me the reel I ask for. Once the employee gave up I ask the manager on duty why they didn't have a key to access the inventory. He shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. I gave up on the reel and took $400 worth of rods and tackle to check out. 3 different employees including the Manager walked up to the register and then walked away into the office without checking myself or the other customers out. I ended up walking out without anything.

Great store for outdoorsmen and women. Pretty good selection of boots, clothing and camping supplies. Fishing gear is plentiful. I often find that their ammo prices are a bit higher than other local stores and they never have bulk shotgun shells as I am an avid skeet shooter I have to go somewhere else to buy my shells. Most of the guns advertised on their website are never in stock so expect to wait if you’re looking for something in particular. The store is very clean and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. I only took off one star because of stock issues but other than that I’m pleased when shopping here.

I went to check out what they had in fire arms. A salesperson by the name of Cody helped me. He answered my questions and was polite the whole time. I appreciate that kind of customer service. I did make a purchase with Cody's help.
