I have two psychotic puppies that like to shovel dirt with their faces, dig until they reach the earth’s molten core, and woller in mud and sometimes poo every chance they get. While unnervingly adorable, I rest easy knowing that the bathers and groomers here will take good care of my boys and do what needs to be done (much to my puppies’ chagrin) to make them clean, fluffy, and normal again, even though they will literally rub off all the clean within 24 hours at the next speck of dirt they find.The front area itself is adorable, my favorite part being a little mirror at doggy level so they can look at how atrociously dirty they are coming in, and see how amazingly clean they are on their way out. They definitely promote doggy body pawsitivity here! Caution though, if you follow my dogs into the entrance, there’s a good chance you’ll step in their pee because they love the shop so much that they want to mark it with their bodily fluids for their assumed permanent ownership. For the rare times my pups are acting normal, they always have a treat for them! Since they’re ungrateful puppies, they always take it and leave it on the floor, but it’s the thought that counts.The employees are what make this shop successful. Desire and Valerie always take such good care of my puppies, no matter how awful they act in defiance to being clean. They are both fantastic groomers and make my corgis’ little booties fluffy and round and ready to show off to the world!Overall, I wish I could live here because of all the doggy clientele they have. The shop is warm and inviting to all! I highly recommend them for even the most difficult of dogs. The staff are knowledgeable in their work and are able to tackle (not literally) any canine challenges that come their way, while still making both humans and doggies feel important!

Horrible experience. Overpriced. No communication. Left cuts and sores on my dog.I regularly brush my dog and had brushed him really well prior to his most recent grooming appointment to ensure there was no matting. He spends a lot of his time outside, playing with kids, and roaming my parents’ farm. He is an indoor dog, but enjoys the time outside as well.I brought him in December and dropped him off at 8 am. There was no communication throughout the day until I got a call at 3:20 stating that he would be done in 20 minutes and “we close soon after”. This was an odd comment, especially with no communication throughout the day. I went to the salon to pick him up and was told he was $260! I asked why and the receptionist said she didn’t know and called the groomer from the back. The groomer repeatedly said what? Looking at the receptionist. I finally asked why is he $260? She told me that due to “matting” he was $60 more. The receptionist then asked if I wanted to tip, without even allowing me to see my dog.Appalled, I paid, including a tip. On my way home, I noticed that he was bleeding on his leg. Upon getting him home, I noticed several spots of bleeding, to the point where I had to wrap his leg due to his injuries.I was so upset that they had injured him, and with them being unprofessional and informing me that they were “closing soon” during my phone call, I decided to wait to call.The next morning I called and asked how much a groom for a collie would be and was told it starts at $100. She reported if they are matted, they may be more. Completely understandable, however 2.5 times a normal groom is not. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager and was told that she was not there but would be on Monday. I asked for the owner’s name and was told “umm… Jackie.”I called on Monday and was told that Jackie was not there but should be there later this week, stating that she had grooming appointments.I called back on Tuesday and Jackie was there. I informed her of the situation and she stated that my dog was not charged this amount due to matting but because of his undercoat. Most people know that many long coat dogs have an undercoat, you would think a groomer would as well. She reported that the groomer had to cancel her other appointments due to my dog’s undercoat and this is what the charge was for.I informed her of the lack of communication and being told that he would be ready in 20 minutes and closing soon after. She reported some people will go out of the area or shopping and they wanted to make sure he was picked up on time. I let her know of the situation in regards to picking him up and asking why he was so much and the receptionist not saying anything. She then asked, was she black? I also informed her of the lack of communication throughout the day, not limited to the additional cost. I also informed her of the bleeding and she requested that I text her pictures.I sent her pictures via phone at 1230 pm and she did not reply throughout the day. The next day I called to verify she received the pictures. When I informed her who I was that was calling, her response was “ok.” I asked if she received the photos, to which she replied “those aren’t cuts, those are spots where we had to brush him so hard. Luckily he is a good boy and he didn’t mind.”I was blown away by her stating this, admitting fault that her groomers had brushed so hard to leave visible sores and bleeding on my dog. She stated that she could offer me a free bath and brush “when he heals in about a week”. I informed her that I would not be doing this, informing her that I do not trust my dog to be in the care of her groomers or business. She informed me that she cannot “eat the cost of the grooming.”I was not requesting a refund, but some compensation would have been appreciated due to lack of communication, unprofessionalism, the cost, and most importantly injuring my dog.I would not recommend this grooming to anyone.

This was our first time as we just arrived a month ago. I chose this establishment carefully and glad I did. She looks beautiful at 13 years old. Picked her up in a very timely manner. Thank you so much!Now for the cat. Sorry to say my 4lb cat was 100.00 . I’ve lived in 9 states in 12 years and never have I ever paid this much . If it were a full lion cut I could see it but to take an inch off all around I can do for no thing . She is happy and good. The average is 3.5 for Lady Lake Professional Groomers. 5 for the dog!

When we first went, Morgan groomed our pooch and did a GREAT job. Loved her. We actually went here because our niece brought her white collie here and Morgan was his groomer. Our 3rd follow up, we had Destiny. She was also great. Then the last visit we find out Morgan is gone and a new girl groomed our dog. She doused our pooch in so much perfume “I” was gagging and I had to rebath her. She has also non stopped biting herself. Causing bald spots. I did call & was asked to bring her back in but after my niece sent pictures of her recently groomed collie, I will never go back. Poor thing has SEVERAL areas that are bleeding due to harsh brushing (they told her) meaning his fur was yanked out. A complaint was sent with the pictures to the owner Jackie per her request & she’s yet to respond. So like Morgan, we’re “out”!

Great place for your pet grooming. They also have a no anesthesia teeth cleaning group that comes in. My nervous dog comes home happy and beautiful every time!!

My dog Chanel and I just moved to Lady Lake I needed to find a groomer. I hit the jackpot on the first try. Chanel was absolutely adorable after her haircut was completed. I made an appointment for the next month. I highly recommend Lady Lake professional grooming.

Just moved and was looking for a groomer to give the 2 dogs a bath before we brought them into the new house. Random Google search came up with these guys. Went in and asked if we could get a bath for my 2 dogs and they brought them in right away. They took good care of the 2 dogs even though one was constantly barking and whining because he was away from me. I couldn't ask for a better place to go to. Dogs smelled clean and they did an amazing job for a last minute thing. At the end of the service they even gave Rust a tie and Shelia a flower necklace to make them pretty and handsome. They went above and beyond for us and we will DEFINITELY be going back.

We're relatively new to the area (The Villages). We checked several grooming locations and even tried one out. Was not really impressed with them. We took our dogs to Lady Lake Professional Grooming and were highly impressed with their services and staff. They will now be our groomers! 😁

Such a wonderful experience! My poor kitty needed some help with her mats and I have a baby so my schedule is pretty tight, but Jackie came in early and took amazing care of my sweet girl ❤ she was so happy when we got home. I can't thank you guys enough!

Super friendly staff, this group of people know how to work as a team. Your pet will have the best care. They are worth any drive to see them.Also about the parking, there is limited parking in front of the businesses so responsible employees of these places park in back to let the customers park in front. However there are businesses that don’t care about their own clients or clients of other shops and allow their employees to park up front. This grooming salon obtained permission from the property owner to designate 2 spots for their clients, ( mostly Seniors), so they could accommodate for curb side service. The owner and some of their employees from the Gizmo place have absolutely no respect for these seniors and park in the designated spots. This makes it difficult to deliver pets to the owners however the staff at Lady Lake Grooming does it with a smile on their face. They will go over and beyond to take care of their clients. As for the young lady afraid to park in the “employees parking lot”, there are 2 sets of cameras back there. Reviewers should get all their information correct before they attempt to ruin a reputation of a solid business that has been established for over 15 years. Lady Lake Professional Grooming is 5 stars hands down!!

We had THE BEST experience at Lady Lake Professional Grooming! When you walk in, the lobby is so cute! They make all my dogs feel so comfortable! They never shake going in, and always look beautiful coming home. It never smells, and everyone is super nice. They are the best place around the Villages! Jackie the owner, has another shop in Ocala called Perfect Paws, and I am sure they are just as great there!

Jackie and the staff at Lady Lake Grooming are always friendly and are very good with the animals. Special attention is given to all that go. It’s refreshing to find a groomer that isn’t all about the numbers, but instead focused on each individual animal. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Omg! These folks were tremendous. After a multiday run around at PetSmart regarding an old dog, they came to my rescue and provided quick, effective care for my pup. Just a visitor in the area but would definitely use them again as my first local choice. Thanks for putting pets first!

Henry, our 10 year old cavalier, needed a puppy cut and we are visiting the Villages. The staff were friendly and put Henry at ease. They did a great cut and grooming and Henry was so relaxed after visiting and before we picked him up, he took a nap. Would recommend and will use again on our next trip to the Villages.

Zero customers at her place and only two handicap parking spaces available in front of other stores. She insisted I move my vehicle to an illegal spot. Because “its mostly problems withe the workers” at the other place. I informed her had a customer shown up for one of her two spots I would move my vehicle in case another showed up. She was rude and stll insistef I move to the handicap spot. I will never use their services ever.Just an fyi its a mask free zone too, so if you arent comfortable with that do not go to this store. Small enclosed space but she has no mask on.

Very unprofessional. I tried speaking with the store owner over an issue concerning customer parking. She repeatedly insisted I move my car from her two reserved parking spaces, I refused. She then became very nasty, and rude. (There is no signage designating specifically marked parking for the shops). Apparently even the other owner/ venders have been having many issues with her. She refuses to stop, even when you to be left alone about this issue. She’s even suggested that people park in a handicapped area rather than her “reserved “ spots. She also informed an underage worker to park in the back of the establishment, where there are no cameras, lighting or security measures. Trying to discuss this matter civilly apparently will not happen with her. As soon as you disagree or get a little forceful tone(as she does the same) she hangs up and ask you to stop harassing her. I’ve spoken with her twice, she would not give her name so that she could be addressed properly, I was hung up on before I could get a word in. Just very unprofessional. As long as her store front isn’t being blocked why is it an issue? I believe that an underage teen girl, who is working should be in view of the cameras, instead of parking in a uncovered,non-surveillanced area.
