Joanne fabrics has one of the best yarn departments of all the large craft stores. The selection is incredible. They have a wonderful fabric department. And everything else they have. They just have really great selections.

Greeting everyone is something that has to be implemented. Some of the customer service members are not friendly. This is the first Joann's that I have visited in which the reps could be a bit more attentive. I expect 100% when shopping.

Two stars because yes they did have the "Jo-Ann fabrics exclusive" Lampwork mushroom bead. but when I called, I was told" no " and that I should get online. I get online and the priced $10.99 to $3.99. I go to the store and there's signs that say that "all beads strung and bagged are $3.99" I get to the counter and they are not if they are and I Quote $10.99 they are $10.99

This is a terrific place to go for any craft ideas and supplies. I like wandering down the aisles just looking at all the wonderful displays which are all so colorful.

It's great to have fabric on sale. Unfortunately they only give u great coupons when everything is marked down which make the coupons worthless because you can only use them on things you don't normally buy and you certainly can't use them on sale items.

It’s a Joanns. Not exactly a specialty yarn store, but you’ll get what you ask for. Good for buttons and the occasional subpar yarn binge. Also sewing and fabrics if you’re into that. ... wait. Anyway, you should wait until what you want is on sale, because it will eventually be on sale. Which is what I did when I wanted some Caron simply soft, and then splurged. Now I get to make blankets that don’t cost $300. Hooray!

Just have to give Kudos to Veronica. Have been at the store in the Villages, FL for 3 days in a row, starting a new project and buying a new sewing machine. All the stupid questions I asked were met with a smile and truthful responses. From tiny rubber bands to the machine, she showed me around the store (even walking slower so I could keep up). Good job Veronica. Thanks for making it more enjoyable to shop in store than online!

I am a frequent customer at Joann's. The ladies who cut the fabrics are very nice. It seems like the fabric shelves are not as full as they could be. I find the access to their website's coupons frustrating when inside this store ... a constant complaint from many of us while standing in line. Happy that they are here, however!

Had a good shopping trip there for crafts and material. Love that they have smaller pieces of materials because I don't need yards or even a yard for my crafts but when I do need more they have it. I also found that they were cheaper than Michael's for the items I purchased.

I had ordered items on line for pick up in store and of course when I arrived at the store found some other items I needed. Everyone was very helpful and check out was quick and smooth.

Visited the store this afternoon the lady in the fabric section was very unpleasant. The sign for the price was very misleading. The manager was extremely rude and lost my ticket which made me wait. .... So I decided to go some where else. I will never go there again. I wish I could give them zero stars.

It’s too hot in here! They need to fix their A/C. It was hot here last summer too and I was told they were going to fix their A/C but here we are a year later and it still isn’t any better. It’s impossible to try to make a decision on what to buy when it’s 100 degrees inside. They have a nice selection of fabric and Peggy in the fabric area was very helpful but I can’t shop here like this.

C'mon Joann you pay the manager $12 an hour and worked there 5 years. People that got hired yesterday and might show up tomorrow or might not you pay $15.50. That's a slap in the face to the loyal employees. They ain't gonna stick around much longer.You make millions, you better come off some of that cash to keep good employees.

Prices, even clearance and 60% off is prohibitively expensive. And I know everything is more these days. I’m not talking about that. I’m comparing to other places as well. A 25ish gallon storage tote was $55. It’s just a pound of plastic y’all! I’d be curious to see if the JoAnn in Ocala is closer in line with Hobby Lobby and Michael’s because it’s not smack dab in the middle of Entitled Villager Land. I heard some woman (obviously not from around here!) tell an older shopper “you can get that florist wire much cheaper at The Dollar Tree. “ The boomer said “Uh, ok” so I knew she was able to comprehend English but the look on her face was clearly one of completely not understanding. Some people don’t need to save money and it’s inconceivable to them.

Organized and clean. Staff was seen cleaning and taking extra care of the merchandise. The cashier was so friendly but the lady that cuts the fabric might have been having a bad day. Everyone is usually very nice and helpful.

Have been shopping at this Joann fabric since it's opened. Always has friendly service. Sometimes the checkout line gets back up but workers are usually fast to get help to the front to get the line down.

It's a great store. Lots of crafts & fabric galore. Staff is amazing. Coupons I l❤️ & enjoy combining. Only would like to see the store remodeled & updated. (Like a home) If we create & design from materials sold there, it should look like it for inspiration.
