Went into ace and was immediately interrogated about what I was there for. I told them I didn't need any help. The salesperson asked again if I needed help and I said I was fine. Then he asked why am I here! If I was a minority, I would have sworn I was being profiled. Since I'm not, I guess he was just being a jerk. Thanks Lowes, I appreciate you.

I stopped by to get a new diaphragm for my sprinkler system. I simply asked what aisle to find the sprinkler replacement parts. After being told the aisle, I was then followed and interrogated about what the problem was, the brand, etc. I tried to explain that I knew what I needed. But Bill the hardware man needed to show how smart he was and kept interrogating as to how I knew that was the problem. He even told me they didn’t carry the rain bird brand. I was already holding the exact part I needed in my hand. He continued badgering me to the point that I had to leave the store without getting everything I needed. Off to LOWES and won’t look or be back!

Fabulous store! The owner, Tom Burry, is so helpful and friendly. I purchased a grill which they assembled and delivered for me. They even ordered replacement parts for those that were damaged in shipping. Just a pleasure to work with and I will definitely do my shopping here from now on!

Every time I have been there in the past year service is excellent. You may pay a little more here, but I try to try to do business with locally owned instead of "big box" stores. If you do not see something you want, ask they may be able to get it. If you get the ACE APP, or just give them your phone number they will tell you about sales etc. Happy New Year! Peace, Ralph

Service and organized. I've walked out empty handed from some Home Depot's and Lowe's because hardware and plumbing sections looked like drunk blind people were all that worked there. Big box Employees are overworked and their CEOs makes 50M+ by slashing labor in the stores.

Done with Burry's ACE hardware store in The Villages. Five different times I checked their website to find products 'in stock', but upon arrival no stock. Went back today to pick up Meat Church Holy Cow BBQ Rub 12oz. The website indicated a few days prior 'in stock', go there today, nothing. Was told a few expired so they are not ordering them anymore. If you want to pick up this rub at Burry's you have to order a whole case! Note, this is a 5 Star rub carried by ACE Hardware, except Burrys. Had the same experience with other products at this location. If you look up a product and it is in stock you would have to get it that day or you're wasting your time. Never had this problem at ACE hardware in Ocala or Fruitland Park. The ACE at 8585 SW Highway 200, Ocala is fantastic. If you need a screw, Burry's might have it in stock, other than that, don't waste your time traveling and parking to go in this place. They are obviously too small.

My favorite Go To Hardware Store. This is an old fashioned hardware store. Not a big box home center store. You can find all the tools and gadgets you need for your house projects and repairs. And some tools you could never find anywhere else.You are greeted when you come in the store and asked if you need help finding anything. It's nice to immediately have an associate so you can find what you need and get back out of the store and back to your project quickly. My husband and I always take a look around and see what's there, what's new, because like I said you can't find some of this stuff anywhere else.On top of all that, these people have a wealth of information so that you can get what you need and know how to use it when you get it home. They also have a few tools that they lend out for free to their customers. All they asked for is a name and a phone number, how nice is that?The store is handicapped accessible. It is clean and well organized and well lit. There is ample parking outside and it's convenient to the highway. Ace is the place!

Sorry to say my wife and I did not have the best of experiences today at ACE in Spanish Springs. The manager was polite but, sadly, a member of his staff was rude and unhelpful. Such a shame - it left us with a bad feeling about the "helpful store" image portrayed on TV.

Just shopped at Ace. Lady Lake store where prices are very competitive to HomeDepot. Lady Lake. They even honored my military service connected ID. Home Depot makes you jump thru hoops this year even asking for DD214 discharge papers. You lost me. A faithful shopper 11 years. Thank you Tom and owner or Ace, Lady Lake store.

I came in with a broken key FOB and he made the adjustment and it worked. Then told me and my mom to have a nice day this one was on him. You just don't get service that great anymore. Thank you.
