This was a cute shop, but the person working the register was really rude. I've never caught flak from a store employee for just browsing. And I can assure you I won't be buying anything.

This is one of the many shops around town! This one is in a very unique building and They have some funny things for you or for your pet. They seemed nice when I was browsing, but other reviews say else. They are pretty used to tourists and some shops have shipping available, so ask if you want to but something but don't have room.

First time visiting Key West with my family. We adore cats, so we were excited to see this pet store.As we made our way out the store, the front lady said: “I’m sorry you didn’t buy anything.”I replied, “Well, there were interesting things, thank you!”She answered with, “It doesn’t matter if it’s interesting because you didn’t buy anything.”I left the store feeling unhappy. There was an ornament I was debating whether to get it or not but after the interaction, never coming back here again.

Very cute little novelty pet store. Customer service was great! My Penny tried to walk out with all the toys. She picked a duck and hammerhead shark.

Wish I could give a zero star review. Everyone in the Keys has been so nice except for the woman who works here. We walked into the store as another couple was walking out and she seemed miserable talking to herself saying rude things because they didn’t buy anything. We’ll that made us not want to buy anything. So when we walked out she said rude comments to us. Now looking at reviews multiple are years old, maybe hire nicer people just a thought! :) We had a wonderful time in Key West, just shocked can’t believe this lady.

I'm not sure what all the rude comments are. Think I've been going to this store for almost 30years. Always get something for my cats there. Owner has never been rude to me. Maybe she's older now and needs to sell if she's being that mean to people. But like I said I've never seen this side of her. I've even sent pictures of my cat to hang at store!!

The lady at the front is very rude. As people left the store she would mumble “Sorry you didn’t buy anything”, as we left it was the same thing. Very weird and strange. Poor interaction.

We can't say enough good things about this hidden gem of a pet shop! Found on accident but now wait by the door for it to open on purpose. Animal friendly, cute clothes and toys for kitties and puppies alike and the most friendly small business owner. Love this shop.

I also was chastised for taking a photo of an adorable accessory I was thinking about purchasing for my dog...almost glad that the owner(?) rudely revealed her true colors before I supported her business. There should be signs in the store stating that pictures are not allowed if that is a policy so that potential customers do not have to be scolded like they are destructive children. My brief visit to this store was certainly not a good first impression of Key West, and am hopeful that customer service isn’t like that everywhere here.

Really liked this place. The owner was really nice and I took all kinds of pictures of stuff in the store, so my girlfriend back home could decide what she wanted. I ended up getting some towels and some cat toys that my cat loves.

There is definitely something wrong with the older woman (maybe owner) of this store. When we walked it, she was telling another customer “no pictures”. The customer said “sorry, I wanted to show my dog sitter this shirt”. The employee then said under her breath “ your taking a picture because you don’t want to buy it”. The customer immediately left the store. I was shocked. I walked around briefly and didn’t want to shop at a store where an employee was that rude to someone. Then she says to me as I was leaving “that was fast”. I looked at her and she wouldn’t even making any contact with me. The employee has a nasty rude attitude. Sorry, I don’t give people like that my business!

Should have read review prior to going into store. I had just come out of Hemingway store where I took all kinds of pics. Started to take pic of tshirt with cute cat saying and older woman with dark hair (owner)? told me very rudely no picture. The way she said it was like I was breaking a law. I said I didnt see any signs about not taking pics and she very nastily said is that the reason I was taking pic. She was very confrontational and rude. I agree there is something wrong with her and she should not be in a job with the public. Stay away from this shop.

Extremely rude! Went in with my children looking for something for our pet. Could not find anything that would fit him. As I asked my young daughter if she was going to get anything and she replied no...this unkind, rude, hateful individual mutters under her breath “Then why are you here?” When I told her I heard what she said, she completely denied it. I highly recommend that people do not patronize this store. If you read others reviews , this is her pattern of behavior.

I am a huge fan of Laurel Burch and love the idea of collecting one of her pieces when aOn vacation in KW. Unfortunately the owner has the most disagreeable and abrupt personality.
