We needed some shoes for our dog. I just happened to drive past this store and stopped in to check it out. I cant remember her name, but she greated us right away. As soon as she was done helping a customer, she came over and asked if she could help us find anything. She guided us right over to the doggy shoes. We discussed the different shoes, what they are typically used for and then she helped me pick the best size. She said if they didn't fit, bring them back un-used and she will exchange them for a different size. The service was fantastic and accommodating! We will definitely be back for our pet needs when we are in town.My boy loves his new shoes. They are keeping his paws from burning on the hot pavements around KW.

American Dog ROCKS! Owners and staff are fantastic and so helpful. Never have to carry my goods to my Jeep know more much or little I buy! They are the go to shop for dog and cat needs. Check em out!

I could not be more grateful for Shawn and Jennifer. I have a disabled Siberian husky who definitely experiences the husky picky eater syndrome. On top of that she has numerous allergies and finding appropriate food for her has been incredibly difficult. In contrast to places like pet supermarket, where I found myself with limited choices due to the ingredients, American dog was like a candy store for my fluffy child. There are so many food options that fit with Beans unusual diet, and even when I felt spoiled for choice, Shawn and Jennifer were full of knowledge on every single product, making the decision easier to make. I chose the food with confidence instead of confusion. Thank you so much for everything you guys do.

We love American Dog Outfitters!There has been a recall on our dogs favorite raw diet brand. I was surprised when they texted let us know that, even though we purchased that brand, ADO never received/sold any of the recalled food but wanted to make sure their customers knew about it instead of having to read about it in the news. We really really appreciated that.The staff is amazingly patient, super helpful and knowledgable about the brands they carry. When our dog was starting to get picky, they were quick and generous with samples to try out so we didn't have to drop a lot of money on food that our dog may or may not have liked. We found something she likes and will definitely continue to shop at American Dog Outfitters.

Awesome store. I miscalculated how much food would be needed for such a long trip and all the extra exercise for travel so I ran low going into a week in Key West. After places along I95 being closed on Sundays and stopping at the last place in the Florida City area who only stock a couple bags and being out I was worried. I didn't have to be because American Dog Outfitters was well stocked and I had a choice of flavors. The lady working today was awesome and super helpful.

These guys are the best . I am owned by a Cat,and I got smart the other day and thought that I would switch up His food same brand but different favor,(and a few dollars cheaper). Well you know what happen ,and not only did He not eat it but started bring half dead lizards in the apartment in protest. On day 5 I give in and go back the the shop where I got it and they were so understanding and kind enough to allow me to exchange it for the excepted flavor and told me that the unused bag would be donated. A big thank you.

Great store and super nice owners! It was recommended by the concierge at the Southernmost Hotel when we asked him where to find “Key West” doggie collars, and he sent us here. They had more doggie logo wear than I imagined. Owners were super friendly to boot! It’s very easy to find, with easy FREE parking

Shawn and his staff are always so welcoming to me and my boys. Joey and zen. Shawn worked with me to find the food my 🐕 would finally eat without issues. We were so blessed that finally a person who genuinely cares about your pets needs. I will not shop anywhere else as long as the store is here. If you live in the keys this is where you need to shop for your dog food. The staff is knowledgable and the customer service is above and beyond what you expect. I had an issue with a bag of food and they quickly took it back and gave me a full credit. I will never shop anywhere else!
