Started off we were skipped over to be seated, waited over 40 minutes to be seated! Once we were sat it took another 15 minutes for our server to approach the table with waters. We immediately gave her our food & drink orders. Took another 30-40 minutes to get our food. Fish tacos barely had any fish on them, one of our hamburgers was raw. Beet Salad was good, so I’m giving food 2 stars. Waitress never came back to check on us until it was time to bring the check. We asked for 2 sodas to go and she never brought them. Atmosphere was great, right on the Ocean! Nice outdoor furniture with gas fireplaces to sit out while we waited. Nice bar! I’d come back for drinks but that’s it!

This is such a hidden gem. First Kaitlyn was awesome and attentive. Been coming to the keys forever, grew up here as a kid. Food is on point, service is quick and friendly from all. The manager stopped by to ensure we were well taken care of. What else could you ask for? Great view doesn’t hurt!Kid-friendliness: Kids games inside and connect 4 for kids

Two stars for the great atmosphere. There was live music (a great band!) and nice views of the gulf. However, the wait was not worth it. We received appetizers after a wait and then had to wait over an hour for our dinner to arrive. When we asked the waiter what the delay was, he simply said, “The kitchen is an inferno in there!” And reassured us the food would be out in a second. Then 30 minutes later it came out.Our table had mixed reviews on the food. The giant pretzel with beer cheese was really tasty. They enjoyed the key lime pie and fried key lime pie. However, the catch of the day was quite dry and the shrimp came out drowning in butter. We also ordered a pesto gnocchi, and I wish I had taken a picture, because I’ve never seen gnocchi served drowning in a thin, oily soup with what I can only describe as bits of pesto floating around in it. When we asked our waiter if they could add the fire roasted corn that was supposed to come with the gnocchi, he came back with a thimble-sized container of slightly-thawed frozen corn.TLDR: if you do decide to brave this place, recommend coming at a time where there’s music and sticking to drinks, appetizers, and dessert. Also, don’t be surprised if your waiter only visits your table once every 45 minutes.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, including a veggie burger, beet tacos, and the pesto gnocchi. It’s possible that the other two options are better, but the pesto gnocchi was abysmal. They should just call it oily, lemon gnocchi soup.

Great view. Food was pretty good. Expensive but not out of line with keys waterfront. $2.15 wings...Parking: Parked in the lot connected at a closed club. May have been a problem if the other place was open.

Three stars when I gave four for the Food, four for the service and five for the atmosphere? Well, I would have given four stars overall, but two issues cropped up. First, we asked for desserts, ordered a fried Key Lime burrito and it cost $20! $20 for a dessert! That's incredible (and not in a good way).Also, there was a 3% surcharge on the bill. I call Shenanigans. If it costs more for labor, for food, etc, raise your prices. Don't hide behind a surcharge. I have been to Europe where the service is just as good and there is no tipping. This tipping culture that we endure in this country is awful. Pay your staff a living wage. This Surcharge is just more of the same.I don't see us going back unfortunately. Not unless the surcharge disappears and someone tells customers the prices of the items they are interested in. Terrible.

We stayed 2 nights next door at the Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel & Resort - and chose to eat here our first night (technically I think the hotel owns the building where this restaurant is, too, and has some apartment-style rooms in part of the building also).What a great location and a great view of the ocean! Covered and open-air. As long as the breeze is breezing, it's very very nice out there!Pretty sure my son just got the Beach Burger and fries. That sucker was HUGE - and he couldn't finish it all. I think my daughter also got the burger.I ordered one of the Catch of the Day / blackened fish meals with sides of Orzo and seasonal veggies. All was going well until I realized that the fattest/thickest piece of the fish (Grouper? I cannot remember) was still raw. :-( The server and kitchen rectified that quickly. I did not at all ask for it to be taken off the bill, nor did I complain about it. More of a "hey, uh, this is still raw here..." Told the server that I'd literally eaten half of it already (the cooked parts and that I don't need/want a whole new meal or even need it taken off the bill. But if there was a similar-sized piece they could prepare, I'd take that. So that's what they did. My wife handled the bill so I don't know how that ended up.Speaking of my wife... She must follow a gluten-free diet. I'm not sure what she ordered, but they were able to accommodate her diet. She did NOT get sick. I THINK she had peel & eat shrimp and a veggie but I'm not sure.ALL the food was delicious. Including my half-replacement blackened fish and broccolini! I took it back to the room and ate it later, chilled from the fridge. It was just as good. :-)Also: Live music the Saturday evening we were here! The small band was quite good.Dietary restrictions: My wife must follow a gluten-free diet. They were able to accommodate her here with, I think, the peel & eat shrimp and a veggie. She did NOT get sick from her meal here!

I stayed in key colony Beach so this was an easy goto because we could walk. Did dinner here twice. Atmosphere is great, watch out for windy days and where you are seated! Food was decent but in general we spent a lot more here and didn't get the same value as other locations but like I said we could walk so that made up for it. The pizza wasn't great, everything else was great.

They have a very strong outdoors atmosphere here. We got here early and did not have to wait. Got a seat right next to the water, so we had awesome view. Got TNT shrimp as a appetizer followed by some adult beverages. She got the pasta and I got the margarita pizza. The food was great, service was awesome. This is our first time in the keys. Just a note, they have live music here.

Went there tonight with a party of four, it was mildly busy and we were seated right away. The atmosphere is really great, tables are very comfortable and the setup makes for a relaxing vibe. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks and appetizers, then another 20 for food. Two meals came out about 20 minutes later, the other 2 never came. Our waitress did not come back to check on us for a half an hour, when she did she said the other meals would be right out. 15 minutes later, no food. When we saw her again we explained we no longer wanted the rest of the food... She decided on her own to talk to the manager, the manager however fealt there was no need to pay our table a visit. No worries though, it's a place we will never visit again.

the table was full of stripper glitter, there was only one girl working the entire restaurant (outside and in) the fries were good, the flies weren't and the burger was not good. 🤢 def not worth 19$, that's for sure!reply to owner: we ate inside. and I'm not sure where the glitter came from either, I was just seated there. 🤷

I’ll start with the good. This place has great atmosphere and potential. Great view of the ocean and good live music. The bad is that we waited 35 min for a table that had been empty the whole time we were waiting. We ordered our food and waited 50 min to get it. 7 of us all had cold food, well, one of the 7 was just plain forgotten. Once his meal came it was runny and rushed. Burgers top buns were hard as rocks and the penne was flavorless. Pizza would have been good, ”if” it were served hot. It was cold too. They did comp the worst plates we got but this place seems run very poorly. We will not be back

Absolutely beautiful views of the ocean! The food was good but the waiter Jared we had ruined the entire experience for us. Our young daughter asked him for a refill and neither her or I heard a response from him so I asked if she could please get a refill and his response was”when I say yeah that means yes.” That was the second time he responded back to me with a rude comment. My husband was ready to get up and walk out due to his response. Just be prepared if you have Jared as your waiter to be spoken to with attitude and entitlement! I would recommend going for the food and beautiful view but definitely not for customer service.

We rushed to make it for Happy Hour on Friday, March 29th and ordered a drink that was on Happy Hour the night before. After a great night and really good service by the waitress Bridget we found out that the drinks we ordered were not on Happy Hour. We asked to speak to the manager but she was absolutely incapable of handling the situation and put the waitress in a bad spot to deliver the message to us that there was nothing they could do and that we got “ a deal” the night before. We were going to tip 20% on the $200 bill plus an additional $20. The manager instead put the waitress in the middle and avoided to come back to table to talk to us. After all this we we’re so upset leaving no tip at all. The manager needs to go or go back to customer service training. She cost Bridget a great tip. So sorry Bridget but your manager failed you and the restaurant.

Best place to chill, dinner and/or drinks and especially watch the sunset. Laid back atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. We (3 of us) came when it was pretty busy. The hostess said 1 1/2 hr wait for a table. But said we could sit in an open area and still order dinner if we wished but it wouldn’t be a private table. NO PROBLEM! This entire island is so chill, we sat by a fire pit and met some fun people and got to order dinner right away. Yes it is a shared table if you don’t want to wait for a private table. So, if you’re ok with hanging out with some good people like we did, have a seat and say hi. 🙂

Trey saved the night. We went for a table while staying next door. We were told they had over an hour wait so we ordered a pizza to go (30 minute wait host said) and sat at the bar to wait. Drinks were well made and bar staff is friendly and attentive. An hour later still no pizza. Trey(bartender) went to look for us and found that it had been made incorrectly then dropped in floor. He got us a new one made quickly and adjusted our bill accordingly. Honestly if not for this employee we would have had no dinner. Kudos to Trey and the pizza is amazing.

My husband and I are visiting the Key Colony Beach Community and went to Havana Jack's 3 times for dinner and cocktails. All three times we were very disappointed. The first time the bartender ignored us for at least 15 minutes while she stood at the other end of the bar talking with other employees; there were only a few people in the bar. The second time it took a good 10 minutes to get a cocktail and we were ignored again with our drinks empty so we decided not to order food due to the slow service; there were less than 10 people in the bar. Last night we went there again to try one more time to have dinner and cocktails and there was a full bar with 2 bartenders. We waited to get served and it took over 15 minutes. Then, the bartender served us our 1 beer and 1 cocktail, took the $20 bill we paid, and never came back to give us our change, offer us a menu, or get us another beer or cocktail. The lady sitting next to us sat even longer and still didn't have service when we finally left without our change. This is such a beautiful place but the service takes it down. Very disappointed.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Burger bun was rock hard and moldy. Shrimp was disgusting. Steak was like chewing gum. On top of it it was a 2 hour wait for food. Manager comes over with an attitude and starts talking smack to the whole table. Everyone in the restaurant waited at least 1.5 hours for food. I couldn’t believe how rude the manager was. DO NOT EAT HERE.

What a nice place! We were so happy when we first got here. Setting is beautiful, chairs are comfortable, no 15 minute chairs here. Then our waiter, Christopher came over, not personable, never smiled, just stood there and waited for us to talk. My husband and friend ordered a Johnny Walker black on the rocks and a Dewers on the rocks. We had the tuna appetizer (seriously needed flavor) and coconut shrimp, they were good. We ordered tiki tacos (shrimp) two shrimp on each taco (2) and French fries, underwhelming. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich, my friend ordered a burger he asked how she wanted it, she said medium rare. It came WELL done (why ask?) my other friend ordered the fried fish sandwich. It was so well done it was almost black. Then the check came. They charged a 3% service fee, not for using a credit card but to defray their costs. It also appeared on the check that they charged $10 for ice with the scotch. When we questioned Christopher he explained that it was an up charge bc of ice you get an extra 1/2 ounce. We were confused and he got impatient and told us he’s been a waiter for 30 years all over the country and it’s always been that way. We’ve been dining out for more than 30 years and have never encountered this.On a positive note, there was an older lady named Barbara who was clearing the tables. She was attentive and wonderful. She should’ve commended.Bottom line, we won’t be back.

Stopped here twice while in the Keys for a week's vacation. Saw live music both nights, and the groups were great. Food was very good - but more importantly the drinks were fantastic. Very strong cocktail game at Havana Jacks. And you can't beat the views. Their waiting areas - with couches and fire pits - make the wait for a table feel as enjoyable as the dinner itself. They'll even serve food in those areas if that's your preference.

Incredibly bad experience. We were visiting the area on vacation for a friends wedding. Ordered our food and the food took over 2 hours to come out. After we asked about the food and the delay the food magically came out in 15 minutes. Our waitress must have never put the ticket in until we complained. When we received the food 3 of the meals were not edible. We ordered a steak medium rare and it came out seared and blood red raw. Coconut shrimp appetizer came out with zeppoli (pastry) breading. The hamburger we ordered came out with a stale rock hard roll. After we asked to speak with a manager about the food and the wait we were met with a manager that refused to listen to what happened and acted like everything they did was on point. We mentioned that the food took over two hours to come out and we missed the wedding party we were there to attend and she said the food only took an hour and five minutes to be received. Once the manager started yelling at us we understood that any apology was not genuine and we as diners were seen as wrong. I have never seen such inept management in my life.
