It's a very well-known brand where you can find almost anything you need to get out of a bind without having to leave Key Biscayne. However, it's possible that you might not find certain very specific items or those with particular details, but you're sure to always find something to solve the problem in the meantime.

Be aware!! Besides their terrible non- refund non-return policy which is probably the only ACE store in the country with this policy because they are not part of the franchise, (they also do not offer the reward program)they charge a credit card surcharge in the total of your bill Apart from the sales tax without you being aware. their prices are higher than other ACE stores because it is the only store at KB and they take advantage of it. I recommend the worth drive to the Brickell store which is part of the franchise and have a return/refund 30 day policy, plus it is bigger , more variety, well organized and friendly service.

I went to this hardware store today. I needed to get paint and I had a paint chip. The paint guy said it was too small. I told him I could not get a bigger piece unless I took a chunk out of my door so he said I can’t help you. I said can’t you help me find something close to this color? He said no! We don’t do things that way! What?? I want to buy paint and he would not help me nor was he very nice about it. I’ve been to many Ace Hardware stores and never have I had such bad customer service as I did in this store in Key Biscayne. What a shame that they treat customers this way. I will never go back there ever again! They are rude and not at all helpful.

The Best service at an Ace store in Dade County. They walk with you to show you where things are, they carry packages to your car. Reasonable prices. Great place for emergency hurricane batteries, flashlights, etc.

Not much of a selection for boats although they are 2.5 miles from a busy anchorage...meaning, they have no idea how much money their losing so close.

Not the first time I had an issue, not to say about the no return policy which is bizarre, but yesterday I went to make a copy of a simple key. While waiting, I found 2 similars keys but the guy decided to use another one. Quite obvioulsy, it didn't work, so I went back today. When done, I noticed the new one was quite similar to the previous one, and asked to see both to compare when I heard (yeah!): "would be better to give your money back, as I don’t have time for this." How about the client's time ?? Terrible service. I charge companies to teach how to do, but will give this for free: If you feel you are in the wrong place, can't run a business or face clients that day, just don't show up. It's better for you, for the company and for customers. I shared the incident in our Whatsapp groups (3 condominious), and heard similar stories. Time to learn, and change. Prefer now to travel 5 miles, but to be sure I will be able to return products, better service, and get a key copy right.Amazing. After months, the owner comes to say it is hard to deal with public. No man, its hard to have such a poor service, and communication. Not even an apology, which teaches everyone here this store is just incapable to do a key copy as well as be in the market. People, try Ace at Brickell. Much nicer store, and absolutely friendly and helpful staff. Worth every mile going there.

The store’s refund/ return policy is utterly unacceptable. I purchased a light switch, upon realizing it was not what I needed I proceeded back to the store to return the item less than an hour after the purchase. They refused to process the refund despite the fact that the item was not opened and in its sealed container. The “manager” was totally unhelpful and refused to give me the name of his superior. I strongly believe in supporting the local businesses and as a resident of Key Biscayne I try to buy everything within the island but when a business like this is customer unfriendly we need to take action. ISLAND RESIDENTS SHOULD START BOYCOTTING THE LOCAL ACE STORE UNTIL THEY ESTABLISH AN ACCEPTABLE REFUND POLICY. Totally acceptable would be a 30 day return/refund policy.

It's ok. It's small they don't carry what other hardware stores carry. Very helpful kid at cash register. But I guess he was the only one. I didn't get help from other workers. I honestly was not that happy with this store.

Tried for the second time to buy paint but the person responsible for this department is extremely impolite and rude. Would not recommend the store. Much better and cheaper buying online and waiting 1 day...

A few minutes ago I just returned something I bought today and it broke within minutes of use. I came to return it and the attention was bad. They did NOT want to return my money. That is, if something you buy in ACE hardware and it breaks, they will not refund your money

I use Ace all of the time. For a local shop they have most everything you need and are great at offering advice if you ask. Not need to drive to Home Depot for most issues.

A great, well-stocked hardware store that is very convenient to residents of key Biscayne when we don't want to drive off the island to go to one of the other hardware stores. They always seem to have what I need.

Once again the same as always that is right at this time ( 12.40 pm)I think it must be the owner or something like that. He really serves people very badly, it is a terrible care. I believe that the people of key biscayne have nowhere else to go shopping. And every time I go to buy something because I have nowhere else to go. I will continue making these comments because this man, apart from treating me badly, also treats me badly with his attention.

I bought something and they sold it to me, without a box and scratch, the worst thing was that it had no price and the owner or manager put the price at his convenience and a price well above the value, additionally they did not give me an invoice.
