I had a small question and the lady behind. The register had to get the manager. The manager came over and she was very Disrespectful, And did not carry herself like a manager. I'm sorry a manager is not supposed to roll her eyes and get an attitude.

No different than the old dollar general that was next door except now it’s a Market. NEVER any cold Red Bulls in the cooler other than the orginal yet they are sitting on the Shelves: When asked why they never stock the cooler they just place blame on the Red Bull distributor saying it’s his job to stock it. My advice would be instead of standing around thinking you have nothing to do how about stock the cooler to keep customer satisfaction.

Worst dollar general I’ve ever, yes ever been in. Store is always dirty, and merchandise blocks every isle, if you do find what your looking for, you can’t get to it. Employee turnover is ridiculous, got rid of the best employee they had. Situation with lack of employees now is so bad that the store is closing at 5 pm, most of the people in Jay work and don’t get off until 5 or later. At least we have Family Dollar less than a block away.These issues have been brought to the attention of management all the way up the chain, and it is evident they don’t care, it’s almost like their logic is ignore the problem and it will go away, only thing that’s going away is the customers. Dollar general needs to take a good look at what the root of the problem is. If you can’t keep employees, maybe, just maybe the issue isn’t with the employees.As long as customers have a choice as to where they want to spend their money, dollar general isn’t the only game in town, and I for one will be spending my money at Family Dollar.

Ever since the Dollar General had came to Jay it has been a blessing. Me and my mom had to move into jay and without a vehicle the Dollar General give us access to stuff that we couldn't get unless we go to another town. And where we live it isn't that far away. Also the employees are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful employee's, though there's one who's attitude and honesty could be adjusted. Great place to pick up whatever you need quickly. Prices are far lower than the nearby grocery store for the same items.

Love the Dollar General they gave nearly everything one could need. Most of it is also at below average cost. The down side Ive found is the same in nearly every DG Ive been in. Mind you Ive been to DG stores in FL, AL, GA, KY, TN, IN, ILL, MI, VA, NC, SC, LA, MS and they all seem to put huge stocking carts down every single isle and it's like a mix of Russian roulette and bumper cars just trying to navigate from aisle to aisle. And in some stores the freight is still there the night before the truck runs again... But over all I LOVE and appreciate the Dollar General and maybe even depending on them so that we dont have to go the hour drive into town.

Not too much to say. It's a Dollar General store.However the ones that are employed there now... really seem to care. The store is cleaner and more organized than it was in the past years.

Counter was filthy as per normal. This time it was milk. He wiped it off after I said something but left a lot on the sides. When I was finished the girl behind me did not see it and put a shirt right in the milk. I never put stuff down. I hand it to them.
