Been shopping here for over 5 years and I am still in love with this place. Picked up a gorgeous blue tongue skink yesterday. If you've never been here, it is definitely a must do. It's like a private zoo, there is just so much to look at.The prairie dog was just too much cuteness.As usual, you can expect impeccable customer service, premium animals and supplies along with good prices.Don't take my word for it, go check them out for yourself 💯

GREAT exotic pet place i went to them after i got a bearded dragon from pet smart and they sold me a sick one this place is fantastic and there animals are very healthy they give you 10% off anything else you buy if you buy a pet and the customer service is 10/10 cant say it gets any better this is better definitely GO HERE instead of pet smart or any other petco place that sells pets they actually take care of theirs

Jen was amazing!!!!She’s the loveliest most patient person!!!!My son is autistic but she had him so comfortable and excited holding a snake and gecko. We are getting him a Gecko for his birthday. this is where i got my sweet baby from almost a year ago (her name is bhindi). i was looking to get a blue tongued skink but was unsuccessful due to someone buying the last one before i got there but thank god bc i left with this perfect girl. staff was very friendly and helpful! i still call the store if i have any concerns and they are always happy to help, any time i talk reptiles with someone i bring this place up. thank you so much<3

So much better than other popular big chain pet stores.Xtreme Exotics staff is very knowledgeable about the creatures they sell. They give great advice for beginner care and habitat. I adopted my pied ball python elsewhere but I bought the decore from Xtreme Exotics. My sweet Poppy couldn't be happier.

We came in looking for a snake. We ended up purchasing a female albino desert kingsnake, she is beautiful. I ended up with the Bengal kittens, ill be purchasing raffle tickets in the future. I remember how much I love amphibians and reptiles. We will be back. Pac man frog and pixie frog are up next on the list.

I've been a customer at Xtreme Exotics for almost 8 years now and Stephen makes sure that his customers have the best experience possible. He and his team really care about the animals and ensuring that you will have everything you need to be successful in keeping them. They don't try to sell you things you don't need, they just make sure you have the knowledge to properly care for the animal. I'm not usually a review person but Xtreme Exotics definitely deserves 5 stars. Stephen has gone above and beyond for me when I have needed PVC enclosure upgrades and Saarang has helped fix my heat lamp where the switch wiring went bad. They are just all around really good people that genuinely care about animals!

Don't be fooled by the small entrance. It looks like a tiny shop, but it's actually enormous! This place is simply incredible. There are numerous species in this clean, well kept establishment. You could literally spend a day studying the various animals on display! My son and I visited today to purchase an axoltl. We were greeted by Aaron, a very friendly and knowledgeable guy who spent quite a while showing us the axolotls available and the materials needed to complete our aquarium. He was patient and enthusiastic while he gave us very specific instructions to make a happy home for our new little one that my son named Morty. He gave us a great deal and even gave us free food! We will definitely be returning for all our needs. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Five stars all the way!

I stopped in to Xtreme Exotics for the first time and was blown away by the amount of animals they have in stock. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. My 12 year old bearded dragon recently died so I was in the market for one. The Xtreme High Contrast Bearded Dragons really caught my eye, so I had to bring one home. I am “Xtremely” Happy with my purchase, and new pet. I recommend Xtreme Exotics to anyone who is in the market for a new reptile.

Brought Rex in for vacation boarding and a “pimp my aquarium”. His big box aquarium was not the best environment but I knew nothing about Bearded Dragons. So for a fair price they took great care of him and fixed up his dogs nicely. He will be happier and healthier!

I got my leopard geko from them and he’s so beautiful!!! I have gotten over 10 types of animals from here. One of the people who work there is so sweet!!! Me and my boyfriend have became friends with him!! All the animals there are beautiful and have pretty cages! They do such a great job.

Clean shop, wonderful experience and customer service. I headed there after Repticon to pick up supplies. I needed a temp carrier for my new Pink toe and the owner or manager went above and beyond filling the container I bought with substrate and cork bark so my new T could ride home in comfort. If that wasnt amazing enough the variety of animals you get to see while there is just a treat!! 100% will go back when Im in town again and I recommend you pay them a visit soon too!!!

Had everything my husband was looking for and even allowed you to hold certain animals, from huge spiders to bearded dragons, as well as cats and ferrets. We get feeders from them for three snakes and never had a problem. We have bought a Python from them as well as substrate and have never had an issue with either. Amazing store even to look around and see the 'not so common pets'.

I've always wanted to stop in here and I finally got the chance today! They have so many different reptiles! They have so many... everything, really. I could literally stay in here all day just looking at everything. Once you get inside, it feels a lot more like walking into a giant reptile exhibit than just walking into a store, which is awesome! They aren't just reptiles and amphibins though; they also have mammals, including ferrets, chinchillas, bengal cats, and....prairie dogs?!?!

This is one of the best places I have been into in Jacksonville.Yes, serious. We didn't even buy anything but spent maybe 45 minutes there just looking at everything.Greeted by their best employee *Mr. Coolio* as soon as we entered that just made my 7 year old son & husband's day. (What kind of bird is he again?) Lol.Not only were all the people who worked here great, the reptiles/birds/things I don't even know their names seemed like they were really happy & well kept too. As soon as any employee walks near by even the small lizards came to the front of their cages/tanks to say Hi. That says ALOT people.Check them out! It's worth it!

A one-stop shop for all your reptile/exotic pet needs! Great selection and prices are competitive, but their sales on inventory (live animals or products) are always a good deal 😊 Animals are healthy and staff is very knowledgeable. It's also just a fun place to browse through to admire their extensive menagerie- you're bound to come across something you've never seen before (at least not in a pet store!) LOL- Not EVERY animal you see is FOR SALE, but, those are clearly marked and few and far between- but usually the most unusual to check out UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!!The BEST is when the glass 'cave-esque' enclosure at the very front when you walk in is inhabited... Because THAT'S where you'll find their EXOTIC KITTENS- Bengals, SAVANNAHS, Pixie-Bobs, and the lot- and you can actually go inside with an employee (of course) and get some exotic kitten-cuddles!!! ❤️❤️❤️Their live feeder selection of rodents (I have snakes, so, those are what I focus on) is SUPERB- with mice ranging in size from pinkies to ex-breeders, and rats ranging from pups (barely fuzzy) up to JUMBOS; and for all the ball python keepers out there just looking for a treat for their noodle, or something to coax them out of their 'winter fasting'- basically any food issues you may be having- the best way to do that is to tempt them with a 'Soffer Rat' (technically called a 'Soft-Furred Rat' but it always comes out as 'Soffer Rat' LOL)- which is the ball python's natural prey back home in Africa! Yep! Xtreme Exotics has it all, and their prices are SUPER-FAIR (least amount I've paid LITERALLY every where else for a rat for my gal, Delphine (she's an almost 2 year old ball python: a mystic pastel 100% HET. Clown morph)I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!

Shane set up my dart frog vivarium. Dude made Kensington palace from the same stuff I would've made Detroit out of. He quoted me a price for the materials and kept it under said price. Everyone was helpful at answering all my new frog owner questions. I don't think I've ever had better service for anything anywhere.
