If I could rate this pharmacy with zero stars, I would. No matter that I’ve been using this location for at least a year, EVERY time a prescription is submitted or refilled my prescription is delayed and they send a notification that there is a an insurance issue. I have to call my insurance carrier for EVERY prescription or refill and their representative calls this store to say that the medication is covered. This is unnecessary as they can see the prescriptions are ALWAYS covered. Some pharmacy staff provide great customer service while others act annoyed that you’re there to pick up your meds. Just skip this pharmacy altogether.

This Walgreens Pharmacy #1986 located at 5340 Soutel Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32219 has a few staff members that are good at their jobs and those few treat the clients with respect, but those few are not enough for me to endure those that are not! A big pharmacy doesn’t mean a better pharmacy! I don’t know if this location is aware of how they make most of their customers feel; they should look at their ratings. I have never rated a pharmacy before, but this location caused me to feel horrible. No matter how long I endured this pharmacy location I never saw caring and appreciation so after a while I started looking for a pharmacy that appreciates and cares for every client (there are many good pharmacies in Jacksonville, Florida) and when I located one of them I left Walgreens store #1986 on 5340 Soutel Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32219.

This pharmacy is very uncooperative. I work for a medicare supplemental insurance, I had a member who has problems getting his pain medications from this pharmacy because it was having a drug interaction error with his other medications. I had to call them 3-4 damn times cuz they kept hanging up on me for no good reason. First, they were asking me which codes they should enter for an override, so I offered to connect them to our pharmacy help line but they hung up. I called them again to let them know what the pharmacy help line told me, then they told me they have the medicine out of stock and Thursday would be the earliest the member can check for it, but I wanted to make sure that they can resolve the drug interaction error, but they hung up on me again so I had to call again only to be told at the end that they know which codes to enter, they know how to resolve the error and it’s just that they’re waiting for the medication to be restocked… so why do they have to ridiculously keep hanging up on me? Why not tell us that at the very beginning instead of wasting 40 minutes of our time? If you’re not happy with your job to the point you don’t care if u screw up ur customers’ wellbeing then get another job… some of your customers are already struggling enough. We’re talking earlier about a person who needs his pain medications, and it’s just very wrong to dismiss and not help him about it. I just hope when you guys get old and start to get sick u don’t get treated like this.

I went to pick up my prescription.I was given the wrong prescription. If I didn't look at the label I could have been taking the wrong medication which leads to side effects, etc. The customer service is horrible. When you call for a general questions or to check on your prescription there's always someone who has an attitude picking up the phone. This pharmacy just needs to be closed down.

Maybe the entire staff should consider working at a kennel because their people skills are nonexistent! This is the worst pharmacy in the city. All the staff is rude, inconsiderate and nonchalant. They show no empathy or care for patients. I don’t understand WHY they are still employed!

The worse pharmacist and pharmacy , they either need to hire new people or just cancel the whole pharmacy area. They are incompetent, inconsiderate, unethical, and it’s ridiculous it’s this many complaints and no one is doing anything about it. The lead or supervisor is just as bad. They talk to you any kind of way and when people get frustrated do to that lack of unprofessional they laugh and give you even more of a hard time. Something seriously need to be done or this is going to eventually be broadcasted bigger than google reviews. People just want their medicine to feel and get better and they just make everything worse , it shouldn’t be this difficult to be professional.

When I asked the pharmacist after having my script sent THREE times and he claims he didn't get it, he said if I wanted my meda that bad to go get a written script and bring it myself (another Walgreens verified he did) to not speak to me in an unprofessional manner he told me that even if he did get it that he's refusing to fill it. I called back to get the store manager and the pharmacist name and they refused to answer the phone. As soon as they saw my number they left it on hold. I have screen shots of me being on hold for over an hour. And that's how they steal your meds. Claim they don't get it, have it resent multiple times then have another store do it and they get away with stealing pain meds. I can't wait to talk to corporate about this

If I could this pharmacy 0 stars I would. LEROY the pharmacist is so rude and so unprofessional he refused to fill my dad's prescription without a valid reason and to make matters worse he hung up the phone while my dad was inquiring about his medication. He also violated his HIPPA rights.

Please if can stay away from this store on Soutel Dr, the pharmacist Leroy is rude unprofessional I don't understand how he is still employed there the manager of pharmacist got to be the same as him for this pharmacist to still have a job. Rude unprofessional bad customer service all around.

This Walgreens’ Pharmacy is extremely unprofessional and rude. I am on hold for too long and with too many rude associates telling me different statuses of my prescription. They are not on the same page as a team and I am always left with an unpleasant experience after speaking with them.

Please do whatever you can to avoid this pharmacy. This location is unkind, unhelpful, and spend the entire time gossiping or on their phones. Even if you ask them to do something that’s relevant to their job, like call a pharmacist only line for the information they need to do their job, they will refuse. The pharmacy is always empty, and I see why. I’ve pulled my prescriptions and will actively drive further just to avoid this location.

Worst pharmacy ever. I went to my prescription was told to hold on sat in the drive thru for 15 mins and then someone walked up to the inside counter and was helped immediately but I was told to wait even though I was there long before that and other person. The lady apologized but only when I complained and being told to wait and then disappearing into the back to do whatever. Anytime I come to this one the workers are so slow and have no since of urgency whatsoever

Pharmacy employees were rude. I made an appointment for a Covid test for 11 am. When we arrived no one was in the Pharmacy. A sign said Pharmacy hours had been changed to 12:00. We waited since we had over a half hour drive to get there. They said I should have received a call to come after 12:30. I didn’t. I said can’t you give it now? No, the manager said, come after 1. We said we wanted now since it was their fault, and we had been there for over an hour. She actually said she would call the police. We pulled off to the side. Cars behind us had the same problem. Since the First Lady had said 12:30 we got in line behind several cars so we would be there at 12:30. We were and were finally helped.

Today was the first I ever received bad service all my son privacy went out of the window. The people that works in the Pharmacy in the afternoon is very rude and unprofessional they really need a class for customer service and dealing with people. It sad that yall offer this covid vaccine and have a appointment to get there and be talked to and told they dont feel like doing shots and come back tomorrow. Talking loud like their on the streets.

The people in the pharmacy area are generally rude and verging on surly. No one had on a mask that covered their nose or mouths but did a good job of protecting their chins. On the other side of that equation, the associates at the front register were very helpful and kind. I am seriously considering going farther to another Walgreen's just so I don't have to deal with these issues.

Love the pharmacy there! Always takes their time to serving the needs of the community. Brandon porter helped me the other day. He took my prescription when other Walgreens were on back order made sure I got it as soon as it came in. It makes my day when there are really good people doing really good work!

The Pharmacy needs an entire new staff because there isn't one professional working there at the moment. My prescriptions are never on time, although they are on an automatic refill status and they've had difficulty finding a prescription that was in their possession the entire time but no one could find it. Their level of incompetence and the fact that they work with medicine is frightening. Find another pharmacy if possible.

I attempted to pick up my prescription at 12:30 pm , on 09-29-'17,after being notified by the automated system. I was told by the technician that there was nothing in the system for me. I have had an account at the store for years. I spelled out my name twice, but was given the same response. I later contacted the pharmacy manager, who said they were probably just a new employee. She failed to render any meaningful assistance .

I was informed by the pharmacist yesterday on July 13th 2020 that they close at 9pm. I arrived at 8:58pm and the associate stopped me as soon as I walked in the door 🚪 and said we're closed. I was trying to get my medicine 💊 that was needed for infection and pain. I was in pain the whole night 🌙 until this morning 🌄.

I visited the Walgreens on Souter Rd in Jacksonville Florida around 1:30 on Saturday, January 18, 2020. I had a redness on my arm and I consulted with the pharmacist there and she advised me to get to the local ER immediately because of this issue. I was from another state & she took the time to tell where to go. Thankful this Walgreens had a pharmacist that would spend a few minutes with me & let me know the urgency of getting to the local ER with my physical problem.

The pharmacy closed way to early if they close at 10pm than they need to close at 10 NOT 9 or 9:15 nor 9:30 I was told I would be able to pick up my medicine at 9:30 and I get there and the pharmacy is closed I will no longer be doing business with them and it seem like tonight I will be going to sleep in pain because of them thanks a lot
